"Akaashi, why are you so busy?" Bokuto whined again. He rolled off the sofa and quickly stood up, sneaking up on Akaashi was a fail - as always.
"Because I am a lawyer, Bokuto. I have work all the time and your constant whining is not helping" Akaashi sighed, but didn't lift his head from the papers.
"But I need attention" Bokuto started poking Akaashi's arm, the other didn't seem to mind.
Akaashi had been sitting in the same position and not moving for around 40 minutes now, and if we're being honest Bokuto was getting worried. It must be some weird case. It's either that or the fact that Akaashi will have to defend a criminal again - he hated that.
"Akaashi, please, take a break. I'm worried. You haven't gone out anywhere for a week now!" Bokuto said, he sounded so genuine that Akaashi finally looked at him.
Ah, he looked tired. The bags under his eyes were way too visible. The fact that Akaashi's eyes were dark in general brought it out even more. He gave Bokuto a weak smile before sighing heavily again.
"Yeah, you're right. I should take a little break" he said, voice as quiet as always.
A smile crept onto Bokuto's face and he hugged his friend tightly, even though he knew Akaashi wasn't the biggest fan on physical contact. The other, surprisingly, hugged back.
"So, why are you so caught up in your new case? Or can't you tell me?" Bokuto wondered and raised an eyebrow. Akaashi knew he'd protest if he didn't tell him about it, so he just gave in.
"I'm a bad lawyer because I'm telling you confidential information... It's a woman, she's been accused of being abusive to her husband. I'll have to be on her side, though, everything points to her being guilty." Akaashi sat down again, this case was bothering him. He hated abuse, he hated anything related to hurting another being.
"Ah, I see.. that's why you're stressed. Well, there's nothing you can do here.. Now go and dress up, let's go to a club! It'll help you relax a bit, who knows maybe you'll even find someone.." Bokuto's voice got quieter in the end, he didn't want Akaashi to find anyone. He wanted to be the only one for him, but he wasn't mentally ready to tell that to his childhood bestfriend.
"Sure.. I'll be here in a couple of minutes" Akaashi said before quietly disappearing off into his room.
Even though Akaashi was earning quite a lot, he was still living with Bokuto. Well, it's the other way around, Bokuto was living with him. The only reason for that was because Bokuto failed to graduate well enough to get into a university, not a lot of people wanted to hire him due to his history of mental issues, even his family didn't want to see him - Akaashi was the only person he could trust. Not to mention, Akaashi was very kind, so even if Bokuto didn't have a job - Akaashi still let him stay, he would say that Bokuto taking care of his parrot is the only thing he needs to do to live without paying the rent.
Just as Akaashi had said, he appeared a couple of minutes later. He had exchanged his comfy clothes to skinny jeans and a white t-shirt. What a masterpiece he was, looking like a blooming flower in a middle of winter or a beautiful red maple leaf amongst a hundred of brown ones.
"Just so you know, this is the only time I'm going clubbing this month. I need to work hard" Akaashi said. Bokuto nodded frantically before opening the door for Akaashi, he was looking forward to seeing Akaashi dancing. He would become a completely different person on the dance floor.
"Sure, sure. Let's go, tiger" Bokuto laughed. He had called a taxi beforehand, so it was already outside once they left the apartment. It seemed like a lot of people were doing out at this hour, youngsters (how do you do fellow kids?) were filling up the streets and fastfood places.
The club Bokuto chose didn't have the best reputation. He simply decided to go there since he had heard great things about the DJ there. While Bokuto kept on blabbering about something the other had minimal interest in, Akaashi was thinking about the case that was discontinued after the policemen weren't able to find any leads - a horrible world we live in, really.
"Oh, we're here! Let's go, Akaashi!" Bokuto jumped out of the cab. Akaashi paid for the ride and thanked the driver like a polite man that he is, before following Bokuto.
The club, just as Akaashi had anticipated, was one of those completely public ones. No bouncer, no entry fee, just drunk people coming in and out of it. Furthermore, it was in a very poor part of the town - Akaashi knew it way too well. He grew up here.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Bokuto suddenly grabbed Akaashi's hand and dragged him into the club.
"Bokuto, I'm starting to think that this was a bad idea. I should go back" Akaashi said, but the music overpowered his voice and Bokuto ended up dragging him even deeper.
The music was deafening, the lights were blinding and the air was too heavy. Akaashi wondered how many people were in the club, probably around two hundred if not more. Somewhere along the way Akaashi let go of Bokuto's hand, well, it slipped out when a group of people bumped into them.
Akaashi felt a bit relieved, but stressed at the same time. He'd look weird if he just left the club instantly, right? Plus, Bokuto would be sad he didn't have fun. Though, it was pretty much impossible to have fun in this madness.
He found himself sitting at the bar with a glass of water. Akaashi genuily wished he could go home and enjoy the silence. What could be better than silence? However, the path to the exit was blocked by a group of delinquents who were too busy hitting on girls and trying to get their numbers.
Out of pure stress Akaashi ended up drinking around 5 glasses of water, it was free anyway. He felt...uneasy, Akaashi could feel somebody staring at him and it most certainly wasn't Bokuto. Yet, he couldn't pinpoint exactly who it was. Akaashi would have gladly left the place, however he ended up going to the bathroom - a dumb thing to do when someone is eyeing you.
He locked himself in one of the stalls and took out his phone, a quick text message was sent to Bokuto with hopes that he'll see it soon. To Akaashi's surprise, the bathroom was...empty. He was used to these places being crowded as well, so this moderately calm place made him a little bit happy.
Not for long though as the moment he left the stall and headed towards the sink, someone busted into the bathroom. Ah, the same stare.
Akaashi pretended not to notice him and continued washing his hands, even though he didn't need to.
"Hey, sweet thing~ what is a beauty like you doing at a place like this?" The guy spoke as he walked closer to Akaashi. He didn't respond, Akaashi didn't want trouble.
"C'mon, speak up~ I'm asking you nicely" the guy said again and Akaashi felt his hand on his back. It triggered an instinct and Akaashi jumped away.
He finally saw the person who had been watching him. A tall man, blond hair, a couple of visible tattoos and a lip ring. He looked like trouble and at first Akaashi thought he was drunk, however it soon dawned on him that he guy wasn't - he smelled like gasoline, not alcohol.
"D-Do not come closer" Akaashi said. Ah, why did he have to be this scared when it came to things like these? How come he could never protect himself?
"Awh, you have such a nice voice. Just come with me, I'll show you how to have fun" he winked and stepped closer to Akaashi. He trapped poor Akaashi between his hands and smirked.
No. No. No.
Akaashi pushed him away with the only strength that he had, his eyes were full of fear. Damnit, damnit, damnit. He should have went to the gym with Bokuto. Calling for help was futile, no one would hear him anyway.
"Oh, so you're fighting now? I tried being nice, now I guess I'll have to force you" the guy smirked again, but before he could come closer Akaashi pulled out his drop point pocket knife. He only carried that for situations like these, and for extra situations like not being able to open a bag of gummies.
"I said don't come closer or I'll use this weapon against you!" Akaashi yeller, though, his voice cracked midway.
"Ha, like I believe that! You're scared, I can see that!" The guy laughed and slapped the knife out of Akaashi's hands. Before the other could react, the guy pushed Akaashi to the wall again. He grabbed Akaashi's face and laughed loudly again.
"Look at you, being so helpless! Oh, how I love these expressions! Remember my name, so you know what to shout! Ko-no-ha! See, not that hard!" He said. All Akaashi could do was shiver in fear.
Konoha was clearly an athletic kind of guy, while Akaashi could barely open a jar of pickles. Akaashi shut his eyes as he felt Konoha touch his stomach.
"P-Please stop" Akaashi whispered, butthe other didn't seem to even want to listen. He just kept on saying how he'll make Akaashi feel good and stuff, but Keiji didn't want that. He wanted to go home. He wanted silence. He wanted to...get rid of Konoha.
He mustered up the courage and kicked him, he must have hit the right spot as Konoha took a step back, he laughed again, this time in a more scary manner.
"Oh, now you've done it pretty boy" he smirked.
It all happened in an instant, Akaashi couldn't even react properly. One moment he was reaching for his knife in the sink and the other he felt something weird on his hand, alongside the weight that suddenly fell on him. Akaashi opened his eyes to find Konoha staring back at him, his eyes were no longer filled with sin, they were filled with..fear?
Why were they like that? Why wasn't he speaking?
Akaashi looked down at his hands and felt his heart stop. His knife was buried deep down in Konoha's stomach and blood was slowly seeping through. A wave of sickness washed over Akaashi and he ended up pulling out the knife. Konoha stumbled back and looked at the poor boy again, rage written all over his face.
"You! I'm gonna kill you!" He yelled and launched forward.
It happened again. Akaashi's hands moved on their own again, this time the knife had hit another place, it was a little bit below Konoha's ribs. The taller male stumbled back and fell on his back, he whimpered in pain as he tried to cover his wounds with his hands.
As Akaashi watched him struggling on the dirty bathroom floor he started feeling weird. The whole image, the sounds of pain and the fear in Konoha's eyes made him weirdly satisfied.
No, no, no! He wasn't supposed to feel like that! He just hurt a person and yet he was standing there with the craziest grin on his face. Why, why did he feel so satisfied? Satisfaction mixed with fear and regret created a cocktail which made Akaashi's heart beat like crazy.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.." Akaashi said as he dropped next to Konoha, a speck of hope appeared in other's eyes, but it didn't last long as the grin on Akaashi's face got bigger. His dark green eyes were no longer filled with fear. "I'm sorry. No one can find out I did this.."
One, two, three, four, five, six.
Akaashi stared at the thing he had done with mixed emotions. A part of him wanted to scream, run to the police and turn himself in, but the other was oddly happy looking at Konoha's empty eyes and a terrified facial expression.
Akaashi swung his knife at the wall to make sure no blood was left on in. This caused a bloody X to appear on the white tiles of the bathroom wall. At this point, Akaashi didn't even feel anything, he didn't know what to do or how to deal with the thoughts in his mind. His t-shirt was ruined and he ended up climbing out the small window in the bathroom.
He didn't know what happened next.
All he knew was the fact that his hands were burning and a weird voice inside his head kept chanting "more, more, more...".

...
Y'all didn't really think I would made Bokuto the killer, right? It should have been obvious.
Well, I hope you guys found this interesting! It was quite tough to write it, as I've never written this kind of thing before.
By the way, the non dialogue parts written in italics are a part of Akaashi's inner thoughts so pay attention to that.
Quick explanation. I messed up in the prologue. THIS FAN FICTION IS RELATED TO ENIGMATICAL AND CHIMERICAL. If you recall, I mentioned Sinner in Enigmatical. These four fics are related.
This is basically advanced version of Stalker, expect Bokuto doesn't die
Anyway, have a good day/night! I'll be off to sleep since it's 2 AM.
