THE FIRST TIME ELIJAH WOLFHART HAD KISSED STEVE HARRINGTON, HE COULDN'T GET ENOUGH. actually, to be honest, it was really steve who initiated it. the pair had been inseparable since they were old enough to walk. there was no steve without eli and there was no eli without steve. and, of course, it was the 80's and boys weren't supposed to like other boys but that didn't stop steve who knew they were invisible to anyone's eyes in his car at a drive-in theater. but then it happened again, again, and soon enough, elijah is addicted to the way steve makes him feel as if there are stars dancing across his skin. it's not so bad, it's not disgusting - what's the harm of a few kisses?

THOSE STARS SOON TEAR ACROSS ELIJAH'S SKIN AND LEAVE SCARS IN THEIR PLACE. on the night of a party their friend, tommy, throws to celebrate the beginning of their senior year, steve tugs him into what he thought was a room safe enough to hide them, but as soon as their lips meet and fingers draw down to undo denim pants buttons, the door flies open and they're caught red-handed. things change faster than elijah could keep up with. soon, steve is ditching him for nancy wheeler, claiming he values his reputation too much, his sister neveah is sneaking out and coming home dazed, confused, and elijah finds a new friend in the quiet jonathan byers.

THEN, HE'S SUCKED INTO AN UPSIDE DOWN WORLD. jonathan's little brother goes missing and he surprisingly teams up with the girl steve abandoned him in the dust for too. he'll help find will, he'll beat those monsters as many times as he has to for his little town, but he will never forgive steve fucking harrington.

POOR FOOLS. they just don't know their love was made in the stars.
