oikawa stared at an amber coloured liquid in his glass, the remains of ice floated on the surface making the drink ever so colder.

the tv was on, and everyone in the bar had their eyes glued on it, but oikawa didn't even have to look. he knew his beloved was on.

"- after counting all the votes iwaizumi hajime becomes the new prime minister -"

oikawa just smiled into his glass, the salty tears filled his eyes as he barely managed to keep a sob in his throat.

he needed to remember his place.

his place was not beside iwaizumi.
