fellow people, fellow friends,

care to see how this one ends?

i may be ugly, as to you i may seem,

but later you shall find that it doesn't effect my esteem.

i see all things, big and small,

even the things you may not know at all.

interesting things i may uncover,

but don't worry, i don't judge a book by its cover.

of all the houses that you may be,

i- and only i- will know if you will be the.

whether if its one of slytherin,

sly and cunning,

or one of ravenclaw,

with smarts and loyalty, ever so stunning.

or maybe of gryffindor,

where dwell the brave at heart,

who stand up for friends, by playing their part,

and lastly you may be of hufflepuff,

who work hard, go far, and are unstoppable,

never to fear, for they aren't diabolical.

oh, the things you'll learn these years,

oh, the friends who'll bring forth the tears.

choose wisely, my dears,

for these are the people who will help you conquer your fears.

step right up and take your place,

and i promise that you shall'nt be misplaced

step right up if you have the courage,

and even if you've been discouraged.

hogwarts, hogwarts,

hoggy warty hogwarts,

teach us something please,

whether we be old and bald

or young with scabby knees,

our heads could do with filling

with some interesting stuff,

for now they're bare and full of air,

dead flies and bits of fluff,

so teach us things worth knowing,

bring back what we've forgot,

just do your best,

we'll do the rest,

and learn until our brains all rot.
