"Come on, let's go let's go." The two took off their shoes, running up the stairs and dashing into a room. A bright pink room with a bed too big for a small 6 year old set in the middle of it.

"Wanna see what I got for christmas?" The girl asked already bringing out a chalkboards with some chalk on the desk next to them. "We can draw whatever we want and I can erase it if we make any mistakes..see!" Julianne took a purple stick of chalk and drew a heart in the middle of the board. Taking an eraser her parents had bought her, she wiped the board clean. Grinning at the amused boy behind her.

"Let me try! Let me try!" He cried out, grabbing a green chalk from the desk. Julianne got out of the way so the boy can draw on the board. She leaned her body against her bed as she watched him draw shapes and writings. She saw him write his name and her name on the bottom right. They smiled at each other.

"Wait that's not even the best one! Wait here!" She opened her bedroom door and sprinted towards her parents room. Taking the device from the charger she ran back to her room. Catching her breath she unlocked her DSI she had begged her parents to get for months.

Keith gasped as he noticed what she was holding. "You got a DSI??" She nodded at him eagerly. Keith ran to sit next to her, their shoulders smushed together so they can look at the screen.

"Look at all the games I got! Isn't it cool?" She smiled at him. The scrolled through the guide until the camera popped up. "Let's take some pictures!" Keith cried out, pointing at the camera on the screen.

Julianne tapped on it with the pen the DSI had come with.

"Smile!" They both smiled widely at the screen, their eyes not directly looking at the camera.

"Funny face!" They both took out their tongues and yelled "cheese".

They both posed for the camera, one taking one of the other or just taking pictures together.

Both of their moms were chatting downstairs in the kitchen which was conviently underneath Julianne's room. They looked up to the ceiling as they heard stomps and screams from their two children. They grinned at each other as they sipped on their coffee.

Few Hours Later...

"Keith! Come on, we got to go! It's late now." The boys mom knocked on the shut door of the girl's room.

After hearing no response, she opened the door and peeked in. Her heart warmed. She stepped closer to the bed to see the two kids sleeping on top. Keith's head was laying on the pillow while Julianne's body was placed lower, her head facing Keith's chest. Both of their bodies warm with heat, their face flushed with red spots on their cheeks, mouth slightly open as they breathed in and out. But what really made Keith's mom heart do flips was that both of their fingers were interlocked. Their pinkies to be exact.
