Josie was currently in her, well the guest room that Diana and Eddie were planning on turning into a proper room for her since Josie was probably going go stay here longer than expected but the couple had no problem with it.

The brunette felt a little guilty for the way she had treated Courtney at training earlier, but the blonde had to understand that if they didn't learn to work together as a team then they would all end up like Joey.

Josie was reading through another grimoire she was given. She had planned to go for another training session on Sunday but for today one of one of Molly's Sorceress friends, Guinevere, she called her Gwenny had recommended that she try to memorize as many of the spells as she could.

Molly along with her two friends, Gwen and Beatrice had told the girl that her powers were growing alot faster than expected so that meant she had to practice so that she doesn't spiral and cost lives.

But the three witches were concerned about something. Josie was more powerful than her father. They knew it was only matter of time until she siphoned the magic from his wand. Josie had found his wand when they gave the Zarick women his belongings after they took his body to the hospital.

Josie decided to try something. She quickly got a crumpled piece of paper from that was on in the small trash can in the room and played it out in front of her. She got one of the grimoire and read the spell she wanted to try.

"Phoramos Atala." She read making the paper start to burn. She then quickly paged to find the reverse spell or extinguisher spell. "Phoramos arbor." She read extinguishing the paper.

She was about to try something else when Diana knocked on the door. Josie acted quickly by using her powers to put the books under the bed and threw away the paper, sprayed some perfume to get rid of the burning smell and lied on the bed

"Come in!" Josie called.

"Hey sweetie. Um you have a guest, she's down stairs." Diana told the girl who furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, she didn't ask anyone to come over.

She quickly fixed her appearance, slipped on her bunny slippers and descended down the stairs.

" Hey Jose." Courtney greeted as she gripped onto her backpack nervously.

"Hey Corey, what are you doing here?" Josie asked the blonde.

"We still have that research assignment to finish." Courtney explained.

"We still have another week to do it." Josie stated with a confused expression.

"Yeah but I wanted to see you...and i also wanted to get this done and over with... but i mainly wanted to see you." Courtney rambled.

"Okay then um, let's go i guess." Josie agreed before her and Courtney went upstairs.

They were in the hallway when they ran into Robby and Lyta who just waved at the girls. They then passed Melaina who looked at the two suspiciously, she made a look to Josie while pointing to Courtney in question.

"Research project." She mouthed to her who nodded in understanding before going downstairs to get the left over pizza from a few days ago.

The two girl were currently in the guest room where Josie was currently staying in.

"I quickly just need to get my notes then..." Josie started.

"I came here to apologize. I never really properly gave my condolences for Joey." Courtney interrupted making Josie freeze and turn around.

"I wasn't considering your feelings when I was speaking during training. I saw how hurt and mad at me you were and I couldn't just leave us at that stage." Courtney continued making Josie take a deep breath and sit down on the bed and Courtney came and sat beside her.

"I never wanted to hurt you. I know how hard this must be for you. Going after the people that destroyed your family and having to deal with your powers has to be alot." She continued as a lump formed in Josie's throught, the thoughts of Joey were coming back.

"Josie I meant every word that I said the other day, about me caring about you more than you'll ever know." Courtney continued as tears pooled in her eyes.

"That day Pat and I went after Icicle, I wasn't thinking straight. I wanted I hate to admit it but revenge for my dad because I didn't get to grow up with one. I wanted to blame someone and I blame him but because of my selfishness you lost your best friend, your twin brother and I never wanted you to go through that. I am so sorry for causing such pain in your life." Courtney spoke as she was close to tears too, but by now tears were streaming down Josie's face.

"I still see him, Courtney." Josie sobbed making Courtney cup her cheek and wipe away her tears.

"Its because you can." Josie heard, not from Courtney but from someone who sounded like her father but she quickly brushed it off.

"But it's not your fault." Josie assured.

"Yes it is, if I had listened to Pat instead of being so stubborn-"

"No, it's not and you need to stop blaming you. Icicle is the one to blame , the only person to blame." Josie assured.

"I know you miss him. I never got to really know him for the person he was, but he sounds like he was amazing." Courtney stated.

"He really was." Josie sobbed before breaking down causing Courtney to pull the girl into her arms as she cried.

Courtney wept a few tears as well, but not because she felt bad, she cried for the beautiful brunette in her arms, the same girl that she hated seeing like this, in this state. The same brunette that was making her feel things that she hadn't ever with any other boy before. She didn't understand the feelings she was having but she did know one thing.

She was in love with Josephine Zarick and there wasn't anything that could change that.

Later that afternoon Courtney had gone home after her and Josie watched a movie. They were meeting up at the Homecoming pep rally.

Josie had decided to clean up her face and changed into a yellow button up shirt, a blue plaid skirt, a 3/4 black coat and knee high black boots. She curled her hair and put on some light make up.

Melaina wore a turtleneck sweater, her pair of mom jeans, doc martens. She brushed her hair and held it in a bun. She put on some light make up and some gold hoop earrings. She got her black purse and left the house with Josie and the rest of her family.

They arrived at the game not long before it started. The family cheered as the Prairie Dogs scored, Lyta in particular since her long time boyfriend was part of the team.

"Mom, I'm hungry can I go get us something?" Melaina asked her mother who agreed and took orders from everyone who wanted something.

"Tia honey go with her." Diana asked the girl who stood up from her seat and followed.

They were gone for a few minutes and came down holding some waters, popcorn and two hotdogs.

After they had finished eating, Melaina volunteered to throw away the trash. She noticed that Tia saw a friend of hers who happened to be Courtney's Step brother and she went to go sit with him. Josie went to go sit with Courtney and Lyta went down to the field to watch from below.

Melaina had just thrown the empty bags and bottles away when she ran into Cameron.

"Hey Camie." Lainie greeted with a smile.

"Hey I didn't realize you were coming." Cameron responded.

"Its my moms first game in awhile so they made all of us go." Melaina explained.

"That's perfect because I was looking for you." Cameron told the girl making her smile.

"Oh really?" She teased.

"Yeah um..." he paused when he took the girls hand in his and led them both to a nearby bench. "Would you, the lovely Melaina Astrid Prince-Dumont like to go to Homecoming with me?" Cameron asked the girl hopefully as he looked into her enchanting eyes.

"Yes...yes a hundred times yes!" She agreed excitedly with the biggest smile she had worn in ages.

"I better get back before my dad comes to looking for me." Cameron insisted.

"Yeah sure of course, I'll text you later." Melaina assured before the raven left back to the bleachers, as soon as he was out of sight she broke into a happy dance which caught the attention of the people in the lines.

She returned to the bleachers where her family was.

"Sweetie you were gone for a while, everything okay?" Diana asked the girl.

"Everything is perfect absolutely perfect." Melaina answered reassuringly.

"Okay hun." Diana smirked before returning her focus to the game.

They continued watching the game for a little longer before Josie came up to the girl.

"Lee, have you by any chance seen Courtney?" Josie asked the girl with her hands in her pockets.

"No, why?"

"I think she suspects Principal Bowin."

"Oh God, um okay let's go look for her." Melaina responded as the two girls stood up and walked towards the school.

They walked through the halls, Melaina was listening with her enhanced senses while Josie was using her powers to find her. Josie's bad feelings were back that's what worried her.

"Jose, I heard a scream. This way." Melaina informed the girl.

She led the brunette to the gym, the peeked in and saw a girl in armor standing over Courtney in her Stargirl suit, she didn't look so good.

Josie immediately used her powers to turn her hair purple and pushed Melaina behind the wall by the door. She kicked open the door before throwing purple energy at the girl which caused her to be thrown into the wall. Courtney sighed in relief to see the brunette.

"You bitch!" The girl yelled, Josie now realized it was Cindy Burman.

She charged over to them before some man who looked like the janitor knocked her over. Josie who was now by Courtney's side chanting a spell to reduce the bleeding had told the staff and Melaina to call for Pat.

Melaina ran beside the staff through the halls to find Pat and her mother, surprisingly looking for Courtney.

"What are you doing- never mind she's this way." Melaina told the adults before they followed the staff and girl to the gymnasium where Josie cradled the girl.

"Courtney!" Pat yelled when he saw her state.

He and Diana rushed over to the two girls.

"I did a spell to stop the bleeding but I haven't learned a healing spell so we need to get her to a hospital now!" Josie said before Pat carried the girl bridal style out of the gymnasium.

"You two have a lot of explaining to do." Diana stated.

"So do you mom." Melaina barked.

Who knew that things were about to get alot more complicated?
