Oikawa Tooru wasn't himself.
To other people he looked normal, since they didn't know how he really was, but in reality he was a mess.

After graduation Oikawa and Iwaizumi went different ways, to different universities.

That, of course, didn't mean that they stopped talking to eachother.

Quite the opposite actually, and there is a reason for that.

It happened after they lost to Karasuno.

The third-years went to a restaurant, spent time together and tried to forget all thr bad things.

However, Tooru just couldn't. He couldn't forget the fact that they lost, the fact that now they won't play any games together, the fact that for the first time in his life he will be separated from Iwaizumi.

Somewhere mid-way to Oikawa's home, Iwaizumi took his hand and without asking him led him somewhere.

Oikawa's mind was blank, so he didn't really care about it, until he realized that Iwaizumi led him to his house.

He said that his parents are out of town, and that he didn't want Tooru to be alone.

His house was nice and big. Iwaizumi let Oikawa relax, while he made hot drinks.

Oikawa sat on Iwaizumi's bed and stared into nothing.

He had been keeping all emotions inside of him and he didn't want to show them to anyone.

However when Iwaizumi sat down in front of him, opened his arms for a hug and said "You don't have to act strong in front of me, you know?", Oikawa broke down.

He jumped into his arms, burying his face in Iwaizumi's chest, crying and sobbing, clinging to Iwaizumi's shirt.

Iwaizumi simply wrapped his arms around him and waited. Waited for him to let it all out.

Oikawa realized that at some point Iwaizumi started crying too. He wouldn't have noticed, but he felt something fall on his hair. He looked up and saw tears rolling down Iwaizumi's cheeks.

The two sat like this for hours, completely forgetting the drinks and the world around them.

During those hours Oikawa thought a lot.

Mostly he thought about Iwaizumi.

He wasn't ready to see him go.

He wasn't ready to live without his smile.

How can he live without love?

Wait.. Love?

It took a while for Oikawa to realize that all that he has been feeling for Iwaizumi was love.

He calmed himself down. It was now or never.

"Iwaizumi.... I have something to tell you"

He sat up straight (ay lmao he aint really straight) facing Iwaizumi.

"I thought about this a lot... I really hate the thought of us going different ways, I want to be by your side forever and ever...

I LOVE YOU, HAJIME!!!" Oikawa screamed, shutting his eyes.

He expected Iwaizumi to be disgusted, to push him away..

But Iwaizumi slammed his lips onto Oikawa's.

Oikawa's hands instantly made their to his hair.

A hot, messy and passionate kiss soon turned into a lot more.

As their clothes slowly fell to the floor one-by-one, they forgot about everything. Nothing mattered, just them.

Their feelings were connected, after such a long time of them being together, their hearts finally became one.

They stayed in their own world for a few days, just being with eachother, enjoying eachother's warmth and love.

Sweet and lovely during the day, hot and messy during the night - that was their routine.

But all things come to an end.

Soon Iwaizumi was almost forcefully taken away by his parents to another city.

Oikawa was begging Iwaizumi to not go.
He kept screaming "Please, don't go!" while he watched Iwaizumi's car get further and further away from him.

They both cried, but they promised eachother to keep in contact, until the days comes when they are reunited.

And Iwaizumi didn't break his promise.

Everyday, every hour he would text Oikawa, they would call eachother every night, exchanging stories.

But the truth was that Oikawa wasn't himself. He lied.

He lied that he was OK.

He lied that he was getting along with everyone.

He lied that he will be able to wait for Iwaizumi.

He couldn't wait anymore....

He would sit in his room, wearing Iwaizumi's hoodie, crying and crying.

Days went by and Oikawa was becoming more and more pathetic.

He started skipping lectures, he started ignoring everyone, except Iwaizumi.

He refused to eat, to shower, to move...

Until one night, at about 2 AM, Iwaizumi called him.

He told him that he heard from his mother that he was acting weird.

Oikawa broke down, he started telling everything that was going on to Iwaizumi, leaving him speechless.

Iwaizumi told him to eat, to shower, to go to lectures..

Before ending the call Iwaizumi said "See you, Oikawa".

He would say that every time they called eachother, but this time it was different.

Oikawa listened to Iwaizumi and in the morning he was back. The lecture went by slowly, people annoyed him by asking him where he has been, but he didn't listen.

As soon as the lectures ended, he grabbed his stuff, tears almost spilling out of his eyes again.

He walked out of the university.

He couldn't move.

In front of him stood Iwaizumi, bags in his hands, he was out of breath as if he was running.

He put the bags on the ground, inviting Oikawa for a hug.

Oikawa dropped everything and ran to Iwaizumi, hugging him tightly.

He was crying, they both were, but this time with smiles on their faces.

They ignored the stares they gained from people walking around.

Oikawa thought that he had calmed down until Iwaizumi said this:
"You know, yesterday when you called me and told me everything, I couldn't bear it anymore, because I have been feeling the same way. I... I dropped out.. I don't want to be away from you anymore. I want to be by your side, I want to protect you. I took my stuff and ran away, I had to see you. These feelings inside of me are getting out of the control... I never said this before.. But...

I LOVE YOU, TOORU, AND I PROMISE THAT I WON'T GO AWAY ANYMORE"

No one ever saw Oikawa at the university again.

Iwaizumi's parents never heard from him again.

They vanished..

But they were there somewhere.

They were together, away from all humanity in their tiny little house, with two little kids - simply living their dream and not caring about what other people think.

Their feelings were connected once again, but this time for a lifetime.
