Ok, hey guys!

If you've read the part above you'll see that this is a sort of reveal.

Why is this a sort of  reveal instead of a reveal?

Well, the main reason is that this is too random to be a proper reveal.

So, what am I going to be telling you about yours truly?

Badminton.

OK, you might ask why this is a reveal, but read on if you want to know.

Badminton is a sport, for those of you who do not know. It involves a shuttlecock, a racket, a net, and a court.

Moving on.

Why I'm talking about badminton is because it's played a special part in my life.

Now, my friends, who know me, might say, "But, Adhara, you learned tennis!"

I got coached in tennis, but badminton is what I like to call a family sport.

How?

Well, everyone in my house knows how to play badminton. I've known how to play badminton far longer than I've known how to play tennis, and that's saying something. In fact, I've been playing badminton for as long as I can remember, and I didn't even have a hard time learning how to play decently, because, apparently, the sport is in my genes.

According to my dad, my mom had been a badminton champion in her day. And even my grandparents know how to play badminton, because my grandfather had a job that required him to travel and get a lot of transfers, so, in a hill station they once lived it, my grandma used to pass time by playing badminton with her friends. And my grandpa. And my mom. And both my aunts.

And, well, I have an uncle, a paternal uncle, who loves badminton too much.

Like, after a day of tiring work, he likes to relax by badminton.

He and a couple of his friends ( Three, to be precise ) have formed something that can only be called a badminton club.

Each night, they all meet and pass time by playing sets of badminton doubles.

And me and my brother play badminton quite frequently.

Like, way too often for tennis players.

But we always make sure to have one of our parents ( Our dad, mostly ) to be there to supervise.

Why?

Because otherwise there'd be a world war in our front yard.

( I swear, the nostalgia the words 'World War' cause me is suffocating me now. We used to have world wars everyday in school. I most prominently remember a World War where there were a couple of guys who made my friend cry, and I was pretty sure I yelled at them so loud the whole school heard )

And, here I am, telling you about badminton.

I would love to go on, but I don't have time. I'm supposed to be working on my cousin's birthday present, a video I've been slaving away at.

Bye, guys!
