JULIETTE WAS UNABLE TO comprehend the madness that was currently occurring, her lips now smashed onto her rival's, his tongue exploring every aspect of her mouth.
The right idea would be to stop, push him away and head back inside to Max, but her body was screaming for this lustful attention, and she wasn't turning away this opportunity. Or maybe this was the alcohol talking.
"Putain." She managed to gasp in between the rough kisses that were slowly trailing down towards her neck, her head jolting upwards at the soothing sensation.
"Is this okay?" Lando asked, the girl instantly responding with a sharp nod of her head.
"It's okay." She repeated back, desperately craving the driver's lips back onto hers.
At the consensual agreement the girl gave, the soft brushing of kisses slightly fastened to a sucking motion, a strength that made it practically certain of the future growth of reddening marks.
The mildly aggressive movement instantly sent blood rushing to Juliette's brain, filling her body with pleasure, an inevitable moan escaping from her throat.
Lando mimicked the groan shortly after, his slurred voice however having a slight rasp, sending a pleasant shiver flowing down her spine which was still arched against the cold wall. Why did he have to sound so fucking good?
"Lan-" Jules managed to escape a whine, immensely overwhelmed by her surroundings. The whizzing of cars driving, the muttering of conversations could too be partially heard from inside the building she was currently slammed against, her hand clasping onto Lando's neck for extra support.
"Have I ever told you how gorgeous you look like this, Leclerc?" He mused, dazing into the girl's dilated pupils, however still a hint of that precious hazel seeping through her lustful gaze.
"I-" Juliette attempted to respond but was quickly silenced by the boy's hand, tightly squeezing her lips to prevent any noise.
"Julie?" The duo heard the shouting of none other than Max Verstappen, scouring the perimeter to find his drunken date. "Where are you, Jules?" He repeated his concern once again.
"Shit!" The currently missing girl muttered, removing Lando's grip on her lower face. "He can't know, nobody can know about this, Norris." Her voice
trembled, mixed with both fear and guilt. What the fuck had she just done?
"Nobody can know, you got it." He agreed, the two trying to make themselves appear presentable and not like they had just kissed in an eerie alleyway, before stumbling away from
each other, commencing their wild rollercoaster of an interaction.
"Julie!" Max yelled at the girl approaching, practically tumbling down the path. "Are you okay, you can't even walk properly!" The gentleman wrapped his arms snakily around her waist in reassurance.
"I think I had a few too many shots, Max." Juliette complained, her head now spinning the atmosphere around her.
"Do you want me to take you home?" He offered, softly rubbing her temples with his fingertips, mildly releasing the tension.
"Mhm." She replied, her eyes slowly fluttering in an out of consciousness as her muscles became weaker and weaker throughout the night.
"Hey, it's okay Julie you can fall asleep. I'll carry you if you need to rest." Max pulled her body into his chest, drawing her into a gentle hug, observing the girl slowly drifting away into a doze-like state. Cautiously, lifted Jules into his arms, not too tightly to reawaken her however before placing her on the back seat of the cab Max had called prior, planting a small peck onto the Leclerc's forehead as she peacefully dreamed all the way back to the hotel.
LANDO GROANED AS HIS LIDS carefully opened, his vision temporarily blurry as he adjusts to the bright rays of sunshine gleaming through the large panes. Everything contributing to his body was seriously aching, every bone, every muscle. He always despised the aftermath.
"Fuck." He rasped, his palm immediately reaching for the centre of his forehead to try and relieve the scrunching pain. A sudden realisation took over at the realisation of what occurred the previous night.
"Oh fuck!" Lando repeated, this time however he was much louder- consumed more with the shock at his actions then the throbbing sensation.
He needed someone to talk to as soon as possible, the boy struggled to process this vast variety of emotions all at once, his solution: a long-winded venting session with his best friend Carlos.
"Landoooo!" The driver was greeted by the recognisable voice of his ex-teammate, the joyful tone bringing a sense of comfort to Lando.
"Hey Carlos." He answered, the exhaustion still seeping through his throat.
"Long night, huh?" Carlos chuckled, instantly noticing the lack of enthusiasm in the usually ecstatic boy. It was like they could read each other's minds, easily identifying each other's emotions so effortlessly. That's what a best friend does.
"You could say that." Lando huffed, hesitating whether or not to explain the situation-ship between him and the Ferrari driver or leave Carlos unaware.
Instead, he thought of a compromise, something that would allow him to understand the details but still stay completely anonymous. The last thing he wanted was the press knocking on his doors about rumours lurking.
"So, I have a friend..." Lando began to explain his "friend's" troublesome predicament. "And they need some advice."
"Advice?" The other driver asked, a slight tone of confusion in his voice by the random question.
"Please Carlossss!" He begged, dragging his sentence similarly to a whining toddler. "Just help me okay?"
"Fine." Carlos eventually agreed. "What does your 'friend' need help with?" He asked, ready to listen to whatever crazy story Lando had in store for him.
"Last night, my friend was at a bar." He once again began his description, "And they saw somebody they should truly hate for how much of a prick they can be..." Lando practically mumbled the last words under his breath before proceeding, "And they were with another person, but my friend somehow got really jealous..."
"Just tell me what happened Lando!" Carlos yelled in annoyance, silencing the boy's constant rambling.
"They kissed them!" He blurted, shouting the confession louder than anticipated, covering his mouth in shock. "They kissed them a lot..."
"Lando." Carlos spoke in a demanding demanour.
"Mhm?" Lando responded shyly, you could hear the gulp in his throat as he swallowed cowardly.
"Would you like to tell me who you kissed?" Carlos hummed, impatiently waiting for a reply to his query. Lando was always shit at lying.
"Juliette..." Lando murmured, the jittering sound barely escaping his lips.
"What was that?" Carlos asked, unable to hear the boy's tremor of an answer.
"Juliette!" He shouted in confession, embarrassment overwhelming his body at the admission of his actions.
"You're joking!" Carlos stifled, amused by what he believed to be an elaborate prank created by Lando. But the mere silence in response told him everything. "You didn't..."
"I did..." Lando added.
"Oh my god Lando she was in a bar with Max! You're in deep shit if anyone finds out! You're such a muppet-" The driver panicked, mumbling sporadically before being interrupted.
"Please promise me one thing. Don't tell a soul." Lando entreated, desperate for his best friend to forget all about the event.
"My lips are absolutely sealed."
THERE WAS ONLY ONE WORD that could describe the abnormal sensation her body was awoken to.
TORTURE. To make matters worse, despite exhaustion weighing Juliette's body down like boulders, the clock still stated the time being just past midday.
During the girl's slumber, she had missed the multiple missed calls from her brother, concerned about her wellbeing considering the previous night. Well, he was still oblivious to the full truth, and Jules wanted to keep it this way. All Lando had to do was keep his fucking mouth shut. one simple task, right?
Not wanting further distress to occur, she immediately grabbed her phone before ringing Charles, reassuring him that she was perfectly fine.
"Julie!" The frantic voice of the elder Leclerc spoke through the speaker, worry prominent in his voice."
"Charlie I'm okay! My head kinda hurts but nothing major, I just slept in." Juliette explained, a sigh of relief escaping her brother's lips at the positive news.
"Okay, I'm sorry I shouldn't of panicked." Charles apologised before diverting the topic, "But anyways, how did it go? You know, with Max?" He asked, almost like the man had been impatiently waiting to bring up the question.
"Let's say I've never met a man so romantic." She giggled, remembering when Max introduced himself at the door with a vast bouquet of her favourite flowers.
"See! I knew it since we were children you were meant to be! Tell me more!" Charles squealed similarly to a gossiping teenage girl desperate to hear the latest news. A bold eagerness in his manner. He was always prepared to listen to his sister.
"We laughed, we danced, he bought me way too many drinks!" Jules began to describe the night in her perspective, "His eyes are gorgeous, I could stare into them forever you know." She started to drift off, imagining, before focusing back into reality due to the muffled chuckles Charles attempted to disguise as a signal issue. "Hey! Don't be an ass! You asked!" The sister shouted towards her brother in retaliation.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He repeated, the slight laughter mildly still visible in his tone. "Anything else? This time I absolutely promise I won't judge."
"Is that sarcasm, Charlie?" Juliette furrowed her eyebrows, unsure of Charles' devoted pledge.
"You'll have to see, Julie." He snickered, an annoyed scoff quickly followed in response to his cheeky remark.
His eyes were something people would deem fictional, the vibrant mixtures of cool tones opposing their natural behaviour and warming my heart, almost entrancing me. His lips were delicate but also demanding to
make contact with mine. His hair drooped in soft curls, framing the boy's muscled jawbone and tanned skin is what she could've added, however Juliette let the romantic thoughts linger in her brain before realising the conclusion.
She wasn't talking about Max. Jules was talking about Lando. Something must've infected her mind, brainwashed her to think so positive about her rival on the track. The only issue was that it hadn't. She believed Lando was truly that attractive. But nobody needed to know that.
"I've said everything." Juliette hummed, refusing to share anymore further details on the matter. "Now please let me rest!" She groaned, pleading for her brother to leave her alone.
"Fine!" Charles complained, disappointed he had to halt the mischievous interaction. "Goodbye Julie!" He shouted through the speaker.
"Goodbye, Charlie." She finished.
LANDO'S FINGER LINGERED just above the screen of his phone, constantly hesitating whether or not to commit the act his brain dreaded, but his heart craved. Just one message. He repeated the sentence in his mind in an attempt to excuse his abnormal behaviour towards the girl he hated for such a long time. Fuck it.
He pressed the unblock button, something Lando never imagined himself ever doing. The next thing he did was even more shocking. Something you'd only expect to see in a fairytale.
landonorris- are you okay?
His finger jittered anxiously as he typed the message, swiftly sending it before he had chance to regret the choice made.
julietteleclerc- typing...
Fuck. He didn't expect her to respond that quickly. The boy's breath paced faster the longer it took for the girl to type.
julietteleclerc- just a bit hungover, you?
landonorris- same
Lando inhaled a deep breath of air, composing himself before admitting the guilty conscience that was unable to escape his head.
landonorris- i can't stop thinking about you.
Did he just really send that? He thought, embarrassment slowly taking over his body at the truthful sight.
julietteleclerc- typing...
Lando was waiting for the humiliation to occur, to be laughed at by her like usual, but it didn't.
julietteleclerc- neither
The words that followed immensely shocked the now confused boy...
julietteleclerc- we need to talk. meet at my hotel on wednesday?
The Juliette Leclerc was asking to talk? Lando didn't realise she could be so respectful, her vocabulary towards him normally consisting of 'I hate you' and 'fuck off.'
But it was like something had possessed him to agree with the conditions.
landonorris- okay, see you then Leclerc.
A part of Jules felt ashamed by the plan, so easily forgetting about Max that night and instead thinking about the one person she least anticipated. But she was determined to remove these feelings that were formed from the previous night, and this was one of the only plausible possibilities.
julietteleclerc- can't wait, Norris...
