THE STARS watched as they talked and laughed. They smiled at how their relationship slowly bloomed into something more. A change neither saw coming.

Remi and Julian soon became inseparable. The duo spent every night they could by that lemon tree in the orchard. Their lemon tree.

They would always crack jokes and talk animatedly under night's protection, but when day broke, it was back to being strangers. At the most, they only dared a smile, and that too was very rare.

So the days turned to weeks and both Remi and Julian continued their nightly escapades. They read a bit and talked a lot. Sometimes they did the opposite. Snacking on apples and berries were an option too as the orchard had a plenty supply.

Their routine was the same as always, however, that could not be said for what went on behind their hearts were slowly starting to change.
