midnight hour

I have never felt comfortable
in my own skin, but when it is pressed
against yours, bare in the midnight hour,
it breathes in a sigh of relief.
Still sweet in sweat,
still caught in a sheen of ecstasy,
there are no worries here.
Everything is fine, perfect,
stunning in my world
when you're here.
