Slipping my glasses onto the crook of my nose, I walked into the living room to see Louis, Kuya and Uncle Alex helping Auntie Jo and Willie set the table. While Aunt Jo and Willie were finishing up making breakfast in the kitchen. All of us happened to still be in our pajamas.

"Hey Am's" Kuya kissed my forehead as Uncle Alex pulled my chair out for me to sit in. Louis eyeing me from his place in the kitchen which I ignored.

"Mmm what's that smell? It smells good." I turned around only to be greeted with plates of food placed in front of me. The boys took their seat as Aunt Jo and Willie set food down. My eyes looked down in shock. "You guys cooked Spam??" I looked at Willie who looked back proudly.

"Yup, I wanted to try it so I found it at Seafood City. I made it with some fried rice too. Aunt Jo helped." He sat down proudly at the head of the table.

"Smells good kid." Uncle Alex commented as he punched Willie in the shoulder. And then we all dug in.

"Holy shit this is good."

"Will this is amazing!"

"Yeah Willie Dillie wanna be my personal chef?"

"Tim please shut the fuck up."

"Language."

A few moments passed before "So we should talk about the award show now. I think we leave Wednesday and the come back on Sunday." Uncle Alex said, mid bite.

Nodding our heads as we engulfed the yummy foods, we agreed as Uncle Alex went on with plans. I adjusted the glasses on my nose as they were starting to get cloudy from the steam of the food.

"Since your families won't be able to make it due to short notice, you're able to bring plus 1's." Uncle Alex stated.

"Can I invite Addie?" Will asked cut in immediately. Timmy nudged my foot under the table grabbing my attention. Making funny eyes towards Willie.

He nudged Louis as well, the three of us exchanging secret glances.

"Um yeah whatever." Uncle Alex replied taking a bite of the warm fresh pandesal.

"I'll invite Eva then." I said, earning a smile from Auntie Jo.

"Have you guys talked to your parents yet about the award nomination?" Auntie Jo asked.

"My parents are going to zoom call me tomorrow on the laptop." Louis said.

WIllie nodded his head, gulping down his food, "I'm calling my parents after he's done."

Then everyone looked to me. "They're busy."

I actually didn't tell my parents about it and I don't intend on doing so.

Kuya threw a sympathetic look to me.

"Okay well like I said, we're leaving Wednesday morning so we'll arrive like around 6-7 so we can explore that night if you're up for it. And then we're leaving Sunday afternoon." Uncle Alex explained.

"Wait, but Valentine's Day is on Saturday. So we're spending Valentine's Day in San Francisco?" I asked before taking a sip of water.

Uncle Alex looked at Auntie Jo who sat across from him. "Yeah I have plans with Jo that day, so you kids can do whatever."

Kuya and I exchanged a disgusted look.

"And then thursday we have to try on our clothes, Tim's designer is doing your clothes again." Kuya and I exchanged a high five over the table. "Friday will be the award show, no red carpet though, thank fully.

Then Saturday is Valentine's day so do whatever then on Sunday we'll have brunch and drive home around 1 or 2." Uncle Alex concluded.

We all nodded our heads content with the plans for the upcoming days as most of us finished the food on our plate.

As I finished the last of the food on my plate, I got up from my seat, putting my glass and plate into the sink washing it along with the pans Willie used while everyone finished their food.

"Hey Louis-dooey lets go get some boba yeah?" I heard Kuya say behind me as he put the plate into the sink.

"Louis-dooey? Seriously Tim?" I heard Louis ask. He awkwardly put his plate into the sink, I felt his eyes on me which I met, giving him a weak smile. He returned one back.

I don't want to argue with my boyfriend.

"Louis and I are getting boba!" Tim shouted to the apartment before shutting his door, I assumed to change.

"It's 10 in the morning." I heard Willie whisper as he grabbed a towel to dry the dishes. I chuckled at him.

"Bye Am's I love you!" I heard Kuya shout from the front door that soon shut closed as him and Lou left on their boba run. I was in my room, the door opened 3 inches while I scrolled on my phone eating my secret pack of oreos I hid from Uncle Alex.

I was looking through some sketches of dresses Frankie had sent me the night before, for the award night. They were simple, but classy. Definitely my style.

"Hey Ami." I heard before I felt a body fall on top of my stomach.

"Well hello there Willie." I said, finishing the oreo in my hand as my eyes met the bright blue ones looking up at me. His head was situated on my stomach as the rest of his body laid side ways on my bed.

"Feed me one...ahhh" Willie opened his mouth wide as I dropped an oreo cookie halfway down his mouth before he bit into it.

"So...are your parents really busy or are you just making that shit up like I know you are?" Willie said as he turned his head to look at me. I paused before sighing.

"I didn't tell them." I admitted. Willies face faltered a bit before he studied my face.

"Why not Ami? This is your first award show. It's a big deal." He asked before taking my hand holding his half bitten oreo cookie and directing towards his mouth.

"It's stupid." I told him. And it was, well in my head it was.

"I'm your best friend of course everything you do will be stupid in my eyes." He said before laughing.

I kicked him from under the sheets, "Willie seriously!"

He got up to laugh before laying back down onto my stomach. "Okay okay sorry, but tell me Ami. I'm listening."

I contemplated for a second until I gave in. "It's just they don't deserve to know."

"Uhh I'm not understanding...they're your parents Ami." He said which made me frustrated but of course, he's never met the people so of course he doesn't understand.

"Okay I mean it's just, they weren't very supportive of me getting this role like your parents or Lou's parents, they barely even call or text me unlike Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Hell they didn't even go to the movie premiere. I just- they just shouldn't know. They wouldn't care." I said, feeling defeated.

Louis and I never really talked about my parents, mainly because he knew how much it puts a mental toll on me. But Willie never understood that, which I understand, he's fortunate enough to never have to be in their presence.

"Oh I'm sorry Ami. I didn't realize you felt this way about them." He sat up next to me leaning against the headboard. The roll of oreos between us, he wrapped his arm around my shoulders as my head rested on his shoulder. "But I won't push it any further."

I closed my eyes, thankful for the drop of the topic.

"I love you Willie."

"I love you too Ami...now let's finish this pack before Uncle raids our pantry again looking for it." Willie said, making me burst into laughter as we both grabbed a cookie.

Not long until we heard the front door unlock and some pounding steps come our way.

Willie and I looked at each other. We both knew who it was.

Willie quickly tossed me the opened pack of oreos as I tossed it into a box under my bed while Willie grabbed the cookies in his hand AND in mine, stuffing into his mouth, chewing as fast as he could until the door finally opened all the way.

We both looked up, wide smiles on our face. Willie covered up his with a yawn.

"Heyyyyy Uncle Alex!" We chimed.

"Hey kids I was just about the run to store. Do you guys need anything?" He asked us from his spot in the doorway.

Willie and I both looked at each other, "Hmm no, no I think we're good Uncle." Willie said, shaking his head.

"Oh okay, well I checked your pantry earlier and I saw you were out of oreos and that made me realize we need to stock up on some, I'll get you guys a family pack. Love you both." He said, before closing the door. We soon heard the front door open and close shut.

"I bet he's only getting the family pack for us so he can have more than Aunt Jo." I said.

"No need for bets Ami" He turned to me. "We both know it's true."

༄ heyyy yall ! kind of a filler chapter for you guys 😁 it was actually really short at first but then i decided to add the talk between ami and willie just for fun LOL

anyways someone commented on an earlier chapter that most of the chapters are becoming the same now and it made me sad because it's true 🥲, my creativity just hasn't been working lately, but don't worry the next few chapters will soon be in san francisco so yay 😜

also i'm in vegas for two more days and then the day after i arrive back home i have my wisdom teeth surgery so i might not be able to update for a while because i start school again next week so um 🥲🥲🥲 (i'm one spring break)

i'll be busy but i'll try and post a chapter next week !!! i'll try and start posting every week or so now :)
