"I just don't understand what the urgency is. Like he barely told me an hour ago and expects me to get ready for a second date by 4 pm ? Which is in 3 hours. And mind the fact I'm still on my period. Like what the hell." I told the girls as I dried my hair, my elbows holding the towel around my body.

The two looked at me through my computer screen, clearly annoyed with my rant of 15 minutes.

"Well considering you took an hour to shower, you have to pick up the pace girl." Eva told me. She had headphones in with books crowded around her.

"Ugh I need to shave my legs, they're hairy and ugly. I still got to do my hair- wait should I curl or keep it straight?" I paused looking at the two faces urgently.

"Curl. Beach curls." The two said in unison. I groaned as I rolled down my body down to the floor. Already feeling stressed with all I have to do before the date.

"Am's I don't get why you're so worked up. You only have to do your hair and change. That should take a quick hour at the least." I snapped my head up as Eva scoffed. Addie filing her nails down on the other end.

"Add's...I have to go back to the shower and shave my gorilla ass legs. Dry my hair, do beach curls cause you bitches said so. I have to do my makeup, make sure I brush my teeth AND I have to find an outfit. Oh god I don't even have an outfit." I began to panic even more.

Louis had knocked on my door an hour or so earlier as I was mid nap, telling me that he's taking me out on a date at 4 pm. Nothing else said, just "date at 4." As soon as I heard the front door shut, I quickly ran into the shower.

"Did you eat any chocolate chips today?" I shook my head as she made an "ahh" sound. Addie knows I easily get worked up when I don't have my daily dose of chocolate chips on my period.

"Do you want us to come over and help?" Eva asked, worry all over her face.

"No no, don't worry about me, I can do it on my own." I told them gathering my stuff for another shower run. "I'll be right back."

Quickly running into the bright bathroom, connecting my phone to Bluetooth and randomly playing a playlist, I shaved my legs as fast and carefully as I could.

"Okay I'm back." I said sighing as I sat back down. The damp robe covering my body as I got out my makeup.

"Have you figured out what you're going to wear?" Eva asked, her screen half books and half her.

Shaking my head nervously, I said no.

"Why don't you just wear that white sundress we got yesterday?" Addie suggested, Eva immediately agreed. Looking back in my closet where the sundress was peeking through.

"Yeah I guess I'll wear that." I muttered as I started putting foundation on.

"Okay I'll play music while you do that. Hurry though, you only have 45 minutes." Addie told me.

I opened my eyes in shock and panic. "Oh shit!"

My legs bounced up and down nervously as I sat unfamiliarly in the passengers seat. Louis for the second time in a while was behind the drivers wheel. I told him I could drive us to the place, but he said it'd ruin the surprise.

I looked around as we drove, we were driving up a hill, that I didn't seem to recognize, not the one where we had our first kiss. It was barely 5 pm and the sky was pretty. But it wasn't the normal orange and blue. This time I knew the sky would be bursting with purple, pink and blue in a few hours or so. My favorite kind of sunset view.

Louis started to slow down as we came behind some cars that were looked to be passing a ticket booth. I went up in my seat to glance up at the sign hanging above us. "The Griffith Observatory." I read.

I turned to Lou who had a smile plastered on his face as he looked at me. "Aw man you figured out the surprise."

I bumped his shoulders with mine as I grinned, "I can't believe I forgot about this place, my family and I used to go here a lot. The sunsets were always so beautiful." Suddenly getting sad at the memory.

"I was hoping you would forget, but then you used to live here for almost your whole life so."

"Exactly Partridge."

We smiled at each other before Louis drove up to pay for a parking ticket.

"Okay so I was going to show you around the observatory, but it's closing soon and the picnic area will be open longer so I figured we would just have a picnic." Louis told me as he laid down a soft lilac blanket on the green grass, between two trees that overlooked the L.A. skyline. I held two heavy picnic baskets in hand, looking at him as people passed by us watching curiously.

I let my knees fall onto the blanket while Louis grabbed the baskets from my hand, carefully taking out the stuff from inside. "Oh wait! I almost forgot." He suddenly got up and ran back to the car, retrieving whatever he seemed to have forgotten. I looked around at the food placed before me when a bouquet of red garnia's came to view. I gasped in shock.

"Aww Lou, these are so beautiful, thank you." I smiled sweetly at him.

He winked at me before sitting back down, "Anything for you darling."

I helped Lou get the rest of the food out of the basket, but when I reached for the second basket, Louis quickly snatched it out of my hands. I turned to him startled.

"Oh sorry, I can handle this one. Let's just start eating?" I nodded at him.

Lou made us pasta, he said with the help of Aunt Jo. He also made mini lumpia, "It took me forever to get the roll right. Tim and Will helped me." He confessed. Seems like the whole family helped.

"How about Uncle Alex?" I asked. Louis's started to bounce and he gulped down the fresh lemonade he had poured in his cup, "Oh you know...just helping me set this up and stuff."

I could tell he wasn't telling me the full truth, but I decided not to push any further. We talked about our day and what days were to come since we had more interviews following. And award season is finally here and we wondered if our movie was going to be nominated or anything.

"Imagine if we were nominated for an Oscar? Azami Navarro, academy award nominee." I blushed as Louis said my name, his hands pointing up like a sign.

Doing the same, I copied. "Louis Partridge...academy award nominee." We both grinned while we continued talking as we sat together overlooking the view.

"Do you think we'd get paparazzi'd?" Louis asked, finishing his pasta in his plate.

"Did you just say paparazzi'd?" I questioned him after taking a sip of the lemonade.

"Is that not...a thing? I don't even know, but do you think we would?" I looked at him and shrugged.

"I mean maybe, I experienced a little bit of it when I hung out with Kuya one time." He nodded his head silently.

We sat in comfortable silence as I munched on a cookie looking around at the people walking. There were too many to count families, along with couples who held their hands while observing around.

"Oh and here you go. I figured we could also have a reading date too, before it gets too dark." I turned back around to see Louis holding out a book to me. But it wasn't just any book, it was "Find Me" by Andre Aciman, the second book to Call Me By Your Name.

"No way Lou, oh my gosh." I said to him while he smirked at me, grabbing his own book from inside the basket he snatched from me earlier.

"Come here." He told me as he grabbed my waist and guided me towards him. He leaned against the tree and placed me between his legs, my back to his chest. We both opened our books and read silently. I felt the noise of the world leave my ears as my mind focused on the words on the page in front of me.

I'm a fast reader, already on page 41, turning onto page 42, very into the conversation the main character seemed to be having with Miranda, the other character.

"Lou stop shaking your leg please, it's shaking my book." I whispered while I read. My arms laid on Louis's legs that were sitting up as I leaned against him. His leg shaking caused my book to shake making the words blurry and unable to read. Luckily he stopped.

When I turned the page, I noticed some marks under letters of the sheet. I got up from my spot on Louis's chest, turning to his more than pale face.

"Oh are you alright? You look super pale Lou." He nodded his head, "I'm fine, what's wrong."

I adjusted my dress while telling him, "There's marks under these letters and words, like look there's a red mark under "Will" and the letter m and y...oooh wait maybe it's a code. Lou go get me some paper from the car!"

Lou got up from his seat, but he didn't run to the car instead he went towards the basket and took out a stack of sticky notes along with a pen. Ignoring the fact he didn't go to the car and coincidentally had paper and pen in his basket, I started to read out the words.

book entry:
"So your reading this evening will be about Constantinople?" She asked, almost with an incredulous inflection in her voice that made her sound disappointed. It was not clear whether she meant to trivialize my work by asking the sort of question I'd just asked about hers whether she was filled with admiration, meaning How wonderful that this should be your life's work! Which was why I ended up answering with a meek and evasive "That's what I do. But there are days when I am able to see my vocation for what it is: desk work, just desk work. I'm not always proud of this." ?

"Will...y...o...u...b...e...m...y...d...oh wait that's a g...g...i...r...l...f...r...i...e...n...d...question mark? What the hell does that spell- oh...oh my gosh." I snapped my head back to see Louis's pale face behind me, him down on one knee with two paper rings resting on his palm. I put a hand to my mouth.

"Okay before you panic, I'm not asking for your hand in marriage yet, but you did mention you wanted to be engaged with paper rings so I thought it'd be cuter if I asked you out with paper rings..." His eyebrow turned up as I turned my body completely to look at him, my whole body overjoyed, my hands shaking. "So will you? Will you be my girlfriend Ami Navarro?"

I nodded my head, "Yes of course Louis fucking Partridge." I whispered as Louis let out a breath he seemed to be holding in.

I hugged his body close to mine as I heard a few cheers behind me, I turned around to see a couple and two families clapping for us, some whistling. Louis and I laughed as I rested my head in the crook of my neck. Louis taking my hand and placed the ring on my pointer finger of my left hand. The small written word reading "Lou" on it, before he placed his on, showing me the name "Darling."

"It's like our bracelets." I smiled at him, feeling the heat rush to my cheeks.

"I didn't know if you wanted my name on it or yours, so I just put mie, but if you want to switch we can." He started to take his ring off, but I placed my hand on top of his.

"It's okay, I love it." I reassured him.

"Yoo congrats!!" A guy with his girlfriend came up to us, the guy shaking my hand and patting Louis on his back. The girl shaking my hand as well. We thanked them as they walked away, before a little kid came walking towards me, a small daisy in hand.

"Here you go." He said, saliva dribbling down his mouth, his mom standing a few feet away watching us. I grabbed the flower from his hand before he leaned in giving me a hug. "Aww thank you little guy." When he stepped back he fist bumped Louis before his mom called him back.

"Congrats you two, you guys are adorable." I blushed as the mom walked away, turning to Louis who had pink cheeks.

"Do you like it?" He asked me, placing his arms over my cold shoulders and tucking me into his chest.

"I love it." I whispered. We fell silent when I noticed a family playing music in the background, grinning to the tune of the song. Standing up, I patted down my dress before turning to my boyfriend who confusedly looked up at me.

I took a deep breath as the song ended and I looked up to the boy in front of me. His eyes instantly meeting mine. We both leaned in, our lips connecting, my body feeling electric with warmth and love. This kiss was not my first with Louis, but I felt like I was falling in love all over again. The butterflies in my stomach flew around in my stomach as Louis picked me up and spun me around in a circle.

His smile on his face so contagious I couldn't help, but smile along with him. "My Darling." He whispered.
