"Hey bae, ready to go?" I called out to the girl jogging into the car, her hair bouncing behind her.

Opening the door, she replied, "Yup yup, who's this friend were meeting again?" She locked in her seatbelt as I started the engine, checking the road for any cars.

Turning onto the street, I answered her, "She's the one who I used to play tennis with. She's nice don't worry...well actually she has a resting bitchy face, but don't mind it." I told Eva, who kept fumbling with her hands in her seat.

I noticed her looking outside the window as we passed down streets towards the mall.

I lowered down the radio for a bit before speaking, "Hey don't worry, I wouldn't let you meet a person who'd be mean or rude towards you, you're fine." I assured her, her shoulders relaxed in her seat.

I took one last glance at her when she nodded at me, letting me know she was truly okay before I turned up the radio once again.

"Hey Addie bae, this is Eva, Eva this is Addie." I introduced the two as we sat down in the outdoor seating area of the Cheesecake factory.

I looked at families passing by, making their way into the huge mall. Chatters from conversations of those around us, filled in the comforting silence along with the soft music playing in the background.

I picked up the menu to inspect it, even though I had already studied the menu last night after Aunt Jo had released Eva and I from wedding planning. I have always been a picky person and I'd like to know what food I'd be selecting before hand to avoid embarrassment in front of company.

Even though it was only 1 pm and I didn't really have any real food meal, I decided on a key lime pie with water. No usual lemonade or shake since I wanted to get boba afterwards.

"Hey what can I get for you guys?" A young lady came up to our table, a notepad in hand.

I looked at the two across from me before ordering first, "Can I just get a glass of water and a slice of key lime pie?"

She scribbled onto her notepad and looked at the girls across from me. I zoned out as the girls ordered. My eyes watched families leave and enter through the nearby entrance.

"Am's you okay?" I heard someone say, tearing my eyes away from the entrance I turned back to see Addie and Eva looking at me expectantly.

"Oh yeah, just nervous for tomorrow." I said, clinking the fork against the glass plate.

"Nervous for what?" Addie asked.

"For my interview." I looked up to see she was still confused, then it clicked. Eva looked at me from across the table.

"Shit, didn't tell you huh?" I chuckled a bit as Addie looked at me expectantly.

"I'm back because I had to film a movie and the premiere was a few days ago and now we gotta get ready for interviews and award shows maybe." Addie looked at me wide eyed.

She then took a sip from her water and sighed, "Youre fucking lying."

I clicked my tongue at her and rolled my eyes. "Addieee." I said, dragging out the e's. "I'm not, I swear, here look at the pictures from the premiere."

I handed her my phone, Eva and I watched as she scrolled through the photos.

"Oh shit you look hot Am's."

"Is that motherfucker Timothee Chalamet?"

"Will looks...great."

She handed the phone back to me, her face slightly pink and a small smile on her lips. I was going to ask, but decided against it. I'll pressure Willie to tell me when I get back home.

"So Will and your boyfriend are in it too? Is that how you met?" Addie asked, Eva's head snapped to me.

"You and Louis are dating?! I fucking knew it." She whispered to me. The first she said in a while.

I shook my head at the two, trying to hide my smile. "Lou and I aren't dating. And yes that's how us three met." I answered their questions. I noticed the twos shoulders deflate as they share a look.

I was about to speak again when someone interrupted. "Here are yours guys meal." A waitress announced as she put down our plates in front of us. I closed my mouth again as she walked away.

"Let's eat. I'm starving." Eva said, taking a bite out of her food.

"Wait wait...I'm sorry what happened?" I spoke into my napkin as I gulped down some water. My eyes brimming with tears as I was laughing too much at the stories Addie and Eva were telling me as they sat across the table.

Eva let out a laugh before starting her story again. "Okay so like this guy had just asked me out and I said yes right." Addie and I nodded our heads. "And we were just hanging out then it got quiet. And we both kind of like leaned in and started to make out. Then when we let go of each other, I noticed my mouth tasted weird and then I realized I had gotten a nose bleed." Addie started to break out into laughter again making me laugh with her.

Both of us were laughing so hard Eva had to pause her story once again. When we had calmed down, she started again. Addie held her napkin at her mouth to stop her from causing another laughing attack.

"And I looked up at him to see blood all over his lower face and he was just staring at me." Eva stared at us with a blank expression and that's when I couldn't hold it in anymore.

"I cant believe you made out with him! With blood dripping down your nose!" I told her, slapping the napkin against the edge of the table, making a sound.

"That's not even the best part" She stated, taking a sip of her drink, looking at Addie and I.

"He broke up with me a few days later." We paused.

Then started to laugh once more to the point Addie had water dripping down her nose. "At least it's not blood!" Eva cried out.

"What should we do?" I asked the two girls beside me as I tapped the lid to my drink twice then popping in the straw.

We were strolling around the crowded mall, unsure of how to continue on the day after we had gotten our boba. "We should just go shopping then." Eva offered as we passed some stores.

We walked towards a map of the mall examining it when Eva suddenly grabbed our arms and dragged us into the H&M store next to us. She ducked behind a stack of clothes when a group of guys passed by.

"Eva! What are you doing?" Addie whispered as I sipped on my drink.

Eva pointed towards one of the boys. The one wearing a flannel, "That's the boy! The one who made out with my blood!" She exclaimed.

Addie's head snapped up to look up at him, I noticed she had brought the top of her shirt to cover her mouth as she laughed.

Once the coast was clear and the boys were gone we went back out into the mall while Eva slapped Addie on her arm.

"Addie I swear to gosh, shut up!" As Addie held in a laugh.

༄ i know this is a short and lame chapter but i've been having writers block lately and i have no motivation to write anymore since i'm so busy with creature of habit and other things...BUT i have chapter planned up to 23 so don't worry i'll try to write and get those out soon :)

i just want to say thank you so fricking much for 100k reads on darling. that is totally unbelievable that 100k people have read my story. idek what to say tbh except thank you, all your comments, votes and just feedback about how you like the book and such just warms my heart. i have made so many amazing friends and met so many awesome people on here. i'm just so grateful to be able to share all of this with you. this has been a crazy and wonderful journey and i'm grateful that i have all of you with me :') ew i hate being sappy lol
