super sorry for the long wait, even more sorry for the short chapter!

it's more of a filler but i thought it was funny so yeah LOL

"William pass me the water." Mrs. Partridge asked from across the table.

It was the day after the premiere and a few hours before the Partridge, Williams and Miller family have to return back home in time for work and school.

The adults had decided to go out for a brunch before preparing for the airport. Waiting for enough tables big enough for seventeen people on a Sunday afternoon was like waiting for the next Jordan to drop online.

It was almost an hour wait. By the tme we had sat down, we had studied the menus at the front of the restaurant enough to memorize the whole paper. Once we had sat down, we ordered our meals and our drinks right away, I noticed all the annoyance and hunger in everyones voices.

The drinks had come first, everyone ordering water and or lemonade. As everyone was patiently waited for their food, everyone made conversations with one another. Mr. and Mrs. Williams who were sitting on either side of me, updated me of their lives back in South London and the drama going on around school. They were those kinds of teachers.

The parents of the Millers and Partridges sat on one side of the table along with Alex who was telling embarrassing stories of William and Louis. Jo sat on the other end with Eva, Issie, Millie and Siena, her telling them romantic stories from Alex and hers' relationship.

Willie who sat across from me was occasionally chatting with Louis, Kuya and Noah. Other times he'd be on his phone sending me tik toks, which I'd look at secretly under the table.

Then suddenly Alex had run out of stories and the parents had turned to me, Mr. Miller speaking up first.

"So Azami." He started before I politely interrupted, "Ami, is just fine Mr. Miller."

He nodded his head at me before speaking again. "So Ami, did the boys cause any trouble?" I felt everyones head at the table turn to me which made me catch my breath unexpectedly.

I felt someone squeeze my shoulder, I didn't have to turn my head to know it was Mr. Williams who had his arm hanging on the back of my chair.

Clearing my throat, I began to talk, "Mm there were a few times I had to babysit them, but other than that, they seemed to act their age." Everyone chuckled at my response which I eased up at.

I put down my phone that sat on my lap, Willie's text still open since he had just sent me a tiktok. I looked up to see Mrs. Miller eyeing my screen.

"Oi Ami does make pretty good lemonade and she knows how to drive. She's basically our uber at this point." Willie butted in and making everyone laugh. I threw him a glare and kick his leg under the table which he did back. As everyone as laughing, we did our secret thing. What I didn't notice was Mrs. Miller looking at us.

"So William," Mrs. Miller said abruptly, Willie and I stopped our kicking and turned to the lady, everyone else at the table doing so as well.

"You never told us you and Azami were dating." The whole table went quiet, the only sound was Louis who was choking on his water next to Willie who was staring at me shocked, and the snickers of Noah and Siena.

We didn't say anything, while Timothée got up from his chair and started smacking Louis on his back.

"I'm fine, I'm fine now, thanks man." Louis said, raising his hand and turned to Willie and I who were still staring at each other, unaware of what to say.

"They're not dating Mrs. Miller." Louis said, his voice going a little harsh.

Before Mrs. Miller can reply, Mr. Partridge decided to speak up. "Louis, how are you and Aubrey?"

And then again, the whole table went quiet again. A waiter who was coming up with our food, stated setting plates in front of everyone's seat.

"Hope you enjoy your meal." The waiter said above the awkward tension, then walked away.

No one responded.

"Uh well dig in everyone." Alex croaked from his side of the table. The clinking of the utensils echoed.

"Awkward." Both Mr. and Mrs. Williams whispered into my ears.

I was still glaring at Louis, who was facing Willie who was turned to me. All of us wondering what the hell just happened.

i knowwwww this is such a short chapter and especially after that last one, you all deserve better but writers block for this book has been hitting me and i'm super duper sorry!

i thought this was a funny chapter due to willie, ami and louis never mentioning to their parents of who likes who so yep !
