She knew the Avengers were her home when Tony Stark woke up after falling out of the portal and saving the world way back when. 

She knew it when Captain America was there for her after they realized HYDRA was growing inside SHIELD.

She knew it the second Nick Fury introduced the eight year old to Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff after being rescued from her parents lab under a HYDRA base where she was experimented on and turned into a weapon of destruction. 

And suddenly her family begins to fall apart around her.
