AFTER A LOVELY breakfast at a restaurant by Miami Beach and walk across the beach, the group of six had driven three and a half hours ( with the occasional 7/11 stops ) and had successfully reached their destinations.

Joshua and Kea walked behind the four with their arms linked, the mentioned four chatting up ahead of them. They had already gone on a few rides.

"So what's the next part of this 'genius' plan of yours?" Louis asks his friend while doing finger gestures making Amahle elbow him in the stomach. "Ouch." He groans.

"You deserve that." Amahle snarls before continuing. "I think the best thing we can do is leave them at the Ferris wheel and hope for the best."

"You better be right about this because I do not want to die at the age of seventeen." Marsai says.

"Me too." Sofia adds.

"We'll be fine we just need to ditch them at the Ferris wheel." Amahle assures before they she spots the target. "Bingo."

Amahle turns towards her sister and future brother in law. "I spotted the Ferris wheel." She tells them making their faces light up. "How about a ride for old times sake?"

The moment the birthday girl suggested that Joshua intertwined his fingers with Kea's and the two ran off to the line.

The group of four followed behind with sheepish smiles on their faces. They waited for a few people to go in front of them before joining the line. Up ahead Kea and Josh stand talking amongst themselves.

The group wait in line and after a couple minutes they duo reach the front with the group of four not to far behind.

"Okay time to go." Amahle says before they exit the line and walk up to Kea and Josh.

"Hey, what's up?" Josh asks Amahle making Kea turn towards her.

"Marsai and Sofia want to show Louis and I a ride so we're gonna go." Amahle tells the two.

"We're nearly at the front, you sure you don't want to go after?" Kea asks her sister.

"Yeah, we're sure."

"Okay then. Just be careful and call me if you need anything." Kea responds.

"We will. Love you."

"Love you more."

By the time the four were out of their view Josh and Kea had reached the front of the line. They entered an empty car before the small gate is closed and the ride begins.

The two sit side by side, Kea's head on Joshua's shoulder and his head ontop of hers.

"So what are your plans for your birthday?" the boy asked her as he fiddled with her fingers.

"I don't know." The fiddling turned into hand holding. "Might just grab a blanket, lie on my bed and try brake my record on reading It Ends With Us. That's the vision right now." She tells the boy as he lets go of her hand, she begins to trace circles around the inside of his palm.

"You are not rereading that book again." Josh says as he turns towards her. "You cry every single time you read it and your tabs have tabs."

"I know that but Colleen Hoover is a literary genius and I heard whispers that there was movie coming and I want to be caught up so I can argue with the Ryle stans on twitter." She tells him as she fiddled with his fingers.

"You love arguing with people on twitter." Joshua states with a smile.

"That I do. I also love seeing what nonsense the politicians of my country say." She adds on before the two start
laughing.

A small breeze blower through the car making Kea's hair blow into her face. She reaches to brush it away but Josh beats her to it.

He brushes the curls behind her ear and cups the side of her face.

"I have to tell you something." She says to him, in her mind she had to do it now.

"Right now?"

"Yes now because if I don't do it now I'll never say it." She interrupts him before letting go of her face and taking her hands, she looks into his eyes.

"Okay say it."

"I love you." The moment those words left her mouth a smile formed on his face. "I haven't stopped loving you and I won't ever stop loving you. And I don't know what I would've done if anything had happened to you that day you went to the hospital and I'm so sorry for not talking to you for months, I was hurt and angry and I wanted to hurt you like I felt hurt and I didn't actually want to hurt you and I am so sorry if I did. I-"

"Hey, hey hey." Josh hushes as he squeezes her hands, he could see the tears that began to form in her eyes. "You didn't do anything wrong." He assures.

"I just don't know what I would've done if you actually-"

"If I just told you how I felt none of this would have happened and we'd still be together." Joshua says. "Naked truth?"

She nods. "I don't really have many regrets but the biggest mistake I have ever made was letting you go."

"You we're probably better off without me."

"Not possible. That will never be possible." He moves his hands back to her face. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I need you more than I will ever be able to explain. I will always need you."

As the words left Joshua's mouth a look of relief washed over Kea, she let out a small laugh before Josh wipes the tears that had streamed down her face. He presses their foreheads together.

"I really want to kiss you right now." He mumbles making the girl look up at him.

"Then do it."

Josh immediately holds up her chin with his thumb and pulls her in for a gentle kiss. She smiles into the kiss and immediately kisses back, he moves his hand from her chin and cups her face. The girl shuffles closer before wrapping her arms around his neck, deepeningy the kiss. He pulls back just to peck her lips a few more times before pressing his forehead against hers.

A smile plastered on both their faces as the ride continued. "God, I love you." He kisses her again, this time stroking her cheek gently.

"I love you too." She mumbles against his lips.

They truly and utterly meant that.
