𝘰.         Like fate or destiny or whatever you want to call it, our two love birds met at an award ceremony where they were presenting the best movie award. It seems kinda bland but behind the scenes before they walked onto the stage with the envelope in their hands Kea helped calm her acquaintances nerves by telling her to follow her lead and it went spectacularly. They linked arms before going onto the stage, into the spotlight making the crowd go wild. They called up the name of the movie and handed the stars the trophy before they knew it the small moment between them had ended and the next duo was ready to present. Expecting to never see each other again

𝘪.          Neither josh nor kea expected a small moment at an award ceremony to change their lives, for the better. So Josh did what he thought was best, he asked the girl to dance at the after party and from there the relationship only flourished. After exchanging numbers the two started to go on little adventures together. Spending quality time together as friends.

𝘪𝘪.          A year into the glorious friendship, Joshua caught feelings for his best friend and it absolutely terrified him. He left it alone until one night after a surgery, he kissed her and she kissed back. She assumed that he forgot about what he did and that almost strained their relationship until he manned up, kissed her again and asked her out.

𝘪𝘪𝘪.         Their relationship blossomed over the two years they were together. Being the "it" couple of the entertainment industry, ship edits coming left right and center, fandoms thriving over any and every picture or video they posted together. But alas all good things come to an end.

𝘪𝘷.         Two upcoming actors with growing and busy schedules who couldn't stand the fact that they filmed hundred of kilometers away from each other for several months at a time. One knew what the future would say for the both of them while the other hoped that they could hang on for a little longer.

𝘷.          His last straw was when the South African was set to leave for another six months to film another project. It's not that he wasn't happy for her, he just missed her and wished he could spend more time with her. So he did what he thought was best for the both of them.

𝘷𝘪.          After two wonderful years of being together, Joshua Bassett broke up with Keabetswe Mokwena, leaving the both of them heartbroken.

𝘷𝘪𝘪.         As the months went on, while drama happened that someone managed to drag Kea into the girl kept on wondering what she did in order to cause something like this.

𝘷𝘪𝘪𝘪        All though it took time, tears and a hell lot of ice cream the girl managed to get over her ex during the months she was in quarantine and was ready for the dating world again, this time taking it slow.

𝘪𝘹          What happens when she gets cast in a show with her ex boyfriend just when she got over him?

𝘹           What happens when he reaches out before filming even starts and tries to fix things?
