AN: Y'all, this chapter is sexually graphic - You've been warned.

"Can I speak to you Auden?" Cillian's voice rang behind her.

It came out taunt and restrained, like he was holding back what he truly wanted to say. Her body went rigid in response, but she didn't turn around.

Patrick's eyes immediately hardened when he saw Cillian, taking a giant step away from her. She rotated her head over her shoulder, "I'm busy," she spat.

Cillian's hand gripped her arm, a little too tightly, as he tried tugging her away, "Please?" he hissed in her ear.

She felt her jaw clench as she ground her teeth furiously, though she was somewhat thrilled at his obvious jealousy. Auden felt like she was going crazy from the feeling โ€” it was something she had never experienced before.

"Fine," Auden said through gritted teeth. She jerked her arm out of Cillian's grasp before pushing past Patrick, who was shooting glares their way. Auden stomped her way through the gallery lobby and to the back hallway, pushing open the door to the corridor. Auden didn't glance back once to see if Cillian was following her, but she could hear him panting to keep up.

The corridor was dark as she made her way to her office. Everyone was out in the lobby partying. She was jittery with excitement and anger. Auden wanted nothing more than to be alone with Cillian in a room.

When she got to her door, Auden finally looked back to see the silhouette of Cillian briskly walking down the hallway. She opened it, stepping into the darkness only for Cillian to appear behind her. He breezed past her, shoving her a bit into her door.

She scoffed, slamming it shut and locking it. Outside lights streamed through the window, causing shadows to form across Cillian's defined cheekbones. He was breathing heavily as he pushed back his hair. He shook his head, "What the fuck Auden?"

"Oh, I'm sorry," Auden replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "I thought we were flirting with all of our exes tonight."

"Is that what this is about?" Cillian demanded. "You're acting like this because I was talking to Jenni?"

"I would hardly refer to it as talking. She was clearly all over you," Auden placed her hands on her hips, cocking her head to the side. She stared at him, unblinking.

Cillian rolled his eyes, "You're fucking ridiculous, you know that?" He began pacing around her office, and she knew he was pissed off. Pacing was one of his tell-tale signs.

Auden laughed, though there was no humor behind it. "I'm ridiculous? I know what I saw. You were putty in her hands," Auden ridiculed, "Maybe you should've gotten over your wife before you decided to fuck me."

He froze, his jaw dropping at her response. She could tell her jab stung by the way he is hands tensed at his sides.

"As a matter of fact, Auden," Cillian sneered, "What you saw was us discussing our fucking son and his Christmas play next week."

Her mouth clamped shut at his response. Was that true?

Cillian took a step towards her, "And if I remember correctly, you were the one who begged me to fuck you," he scoffed.

Auden narrowed her eyes. If it was true, it didn't matter now. "I think you're forgetting about the part where you stalked me for three damn months before that!" she yelled, moving to stand in front of her desk so she was facing Cillian head on.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Cillian lied.

"That's convenient," Auden replied sharply. She felt her breath quicken as she continued, "Maybe I should get Patrick in here to remind you?"

Cillian jumped forward at the sound of his name. His face was now inches from hers and up close, his eyes were flaming, "I don't want to hear his name come out of your mouth again," he seethed.

His response caused a sense of exhilaration to flow down Auden's spine. As she glared at him, she felt the sudden urge to rip his clothes off. She wanted him to dominate her โ€” to prove that she was the only woman he wanted. She loved that he was this upset over another man wanting her as much as he did.

A titillating fire sparked in Auden's stomach, "Are you going to make me?" her voice low as she taunted him. She was rather enjoying this game that had developed between them, and a smile began playing on her lips.

She saw a flash of excitement behind Cillian's eyes as they widened at her words. Auden felt heat beginning to build between her legs as he licked his bottom lip, his eyes studying her face. His blue eyes stared at her hungrily, and she understood that he realized what she was doing.

A smirk formed across Cillian's mouth, as he shifted forward causing Auden to take a step back. She felt her body bump into the corner of her desk. He took another step forward, pressing his body against hers as his hand trailed up her thigh and went in between them, causing her to gasp.

Cillian tilted his head forward, pressing his lips to her ear, "Do you feel that? Do you think Patrick can make you this wet?"

Auden's head began to fall backwards, pleasure rippling through her as Cillian played with her, but he caught it, forcing it forward. His fingers gripped themselves in her hair tightly.

"Look at me," agitation rolled off of Cillian's tongue. His forehead came forward, resting against hers. The fiery tension between them felt thick as he bore his eyes into her. "I didn't like seeing you talking to him."

Auden managed to choke out a laugh, "That doesn't matter. I don't belong to anyone," she managed to say, before gasping as he slipped a finger inside her. She felt her legs spread apart slightly, inviting Cillian in.

"It doesn't seem that way," Cillian muttered.

"Convince me," Auden said, between breaths, "Convince me that I'm yours."

A moan suddenly escaped Auden's lips, fueling Cillian's desire for her, "You want me to fuck you?"

Auden's knees felt so weak at his question, and she gripped her desk to keep herself from collapsing over. Of course she did โ€” that was the whole point of this charade. To get him in her office so he could show her that she was the one, not Jenni.

"Yes," she whimpered.

That's all it took for Cillian.

Rapidly, he began undoing his belt buckle before sliding down his slacks as Auden slipped her underwear off. He gripped her backside before picking her up briefly and setting her on top of her desk. Cillian shoved her dress up, pushing her legs open and he slid himself inside of her.

Cillian didn't waste anytime thrusting into her fast and deep. Auden bit her lip to stop herself from moaning too loudly as her walls pulsated around him. His hand came up around her throat and he slipped his thumb inside her mouth to stop her from being loud.

"You are mine," he groaned, his eyes never leaving her face. She wrapped her lips around his thumb, bitting slightly.

Auden could feel her desk rocking back and forth from under her, and she wrapped her legs around his waist tightly. She braced herself by placing her hands behind her, causing a stack of papers to fall onto the floor. Her eyes began to flutter close, feeling the rhythm of their bodies working in tune to one another.

"Keep your eyes open," Cillian demanded. Sweat began to drip from Cillian's forehead, wetting the ends of his hair. "I want to look at you."

Auden moaned as he pushed inside of her deeper, "I can't."

"You will," he stated, his hand moving from her throat to her jaw. He grabbed it, squeezing to hold her face. "Look at me."

Auden felt extremely light headed. She could barely hold her body weight as Cillian continued to thrust into her, and she struggled to keep her head up and eyes open. But their eye contact only increased the intensity of their love-making. Auden felt like she was ascending to a whole different level of pleasure โ€” it was something she had never felt before. No man, not even her last boyfriend, had provided her with this much intensity.

"Cum for me," he begged, as his free hand slipped back between her thighs to play with her sweet spot. It was enough to send Auden overboard. She felt herself buck forward, bursting through the seams that were once holding her back. Her arms began to shake as they struggled to keep her upright, "Cillian," she whimpered, "Fuck."

Her eyes rolled back as the intoxicating pleasure shot through her. She began to squirm as she clenched around him which sent Cillian into a spiral. He let go of her face suddenly, his head tilting backward as he thrusted deeply into her one last time. He shuddered forward, his arms wrapping around Auden before she could fall backwards on her desk.

Auden was gasping for air as she tilted her head to lean it on Cillian's chest. His shirt was damp with sweat, but she didn't mind at all. Her body felt as light as a feather, and she was afraid that she would float away if she tried standing up.

They were both silent for sometime as they held each other. Both were in awe of what just transpired. Their combined anger and jealously โ€” it had culminated into something that neither Auden or Cillian had ever experienced. It deepened their need to prove themselves to one another and the result was breathtaking.

Auden closed her eyes, breathing in his scent of sandalwood. She could still hear his rapid heartbeat. As she pulled away, she peered up at him. His eyes were closed and his hair was stuck to his forehead. Auden hesitantly reached up to brush it away.

Cillian's eyes flung open as soon as her fingers grazed his skin. He looked down at her, blinking, as if he had forgotten she was there. His cheek leaned into her palm, moving his head so he could kiss her fingertips. His gaze, which looked a lot darker under the soft street lighting that inked across the room, looked distant and faraway.

Auden felt herself shiver at the soft way Cillian kissed her fingers. It was a stark contrast compared to their movements only moments earlier, "That was โ€” I mean," Cillian stammered against her fingers, "Unbelievable."

She giggled, "We should probably head back to the party."

Cillian nodded once but didn't say anything. As he pulled away to fix his pants, Auden's mind wandered to what could be happening outside. An image of Cillian and Jenni flashed in front of her eyes, causing her to press her lips together in a hard line. The feeling of jealousy began gnawing at her stomach once again, but this time it was painful rather than exciting. She needed to hear him say it.

"Are you still in love with Jenni?" she asked, her voice soft and low, as she re-adjusted her dress.

She could see him freeze briefly out of the corner of her view, before he continued to jostle with his belt buckle. He was stalling, which made Auden more upset. For Auden, she suspected it would've been an immediate denial, and they would move on their way. But Auden knew Cillian didn't lie โ€” at least not about important things โ€” and she knew he was trying to think of the best response possible.

She swallowed as the silence fell in around them, making the air almost thick and unbearable. Auden felt her feet walk her over to her office window and she pushed it open. As she leaned her head against the windowsill, cold air hit her hot skin as it flowed through her hair. She closed her eyes, waiting for Cillian to say something. Anything.

"I'm not in love with her," Cillian replied. The answer should have been sufficient, but there was something in his voice that threw his response off.

Auden couldn't bring it in herself to turn around and look at him. She knew if she did, she would break down.

"I haven't been in love with her in a long time," he continued, his voice full of hurt, "But I do love her."

Auden felt her breath hitch in her throat and her bottom lip quivered as she held back tears. The air from outside was the one thing reminding her that this was real.

"Auden," he whispered. She felt his arms snake around her from behind and his breath on the nape of her neck, "It's not what you think."

"Explain it to me then," she choked out, her eyes fixated on a street light outside her window, forcing the tears back inside.

She could hear people from the party down the street as they lingered outside. It was almost comical to her how carefree everyone seemed to be.

Cillian pushed her around so Auden could face him. She rolled her eyes immediately, and it took everything in her not to push him away. She was trying to be fair, but she didn't want to look at him. So, she fixed her eyes past his shoulder and on the wood door.

"I spent almost twenty-five years of my life with Jenni," Cillian explained slowly, "We have a child together. I love her, but it's only out of appreciation for all of those things โ€” those memories. It's a big part of who I am."

He searched her face, waiting for Auden to move her eyes to him. But she didn't. Instead, she began imagining herself running out of her door and into a another world. A world where the man she was in love with didn't come with a package that reminded her everyday of the reality that Cillian had an entire life prior to her.

He let out a frustrated sigh, reaching for her hand and interlacing his fingers in hers, "I'm in love with you, Aud," Cillian let out a small chuckle, "Even when I was twenty-one, I didn't feel this way about Jenni. I never have. It was always just...safe."

This made Auden look at him. Because for her, the past relationships in her life had always been safe โ€” especially James. She spent three years of her life with him, feeling comfortable and secure. And she loved him for that. But was she ever in love with him? Was that the same thing Cillian had with Jenni, but for most of his life?

Now, Auden couldn't imagine ever being with James, building a family and creating a life. But there was a moment in time where she believed she was going to marry him.

Hell, even her attempt with Patrick was safe. She did it because it made sense. Not because she felt that emotional pull that she experienced with Cillian.

No, Cillian was the only man who ever provided her with excitement and passion. He had lit something deep within her that was frightening yet electrifying. She was addicted to it, to Cillian.

And as she looked at his beautiful face, full of warmth and infatuation, Auden knew she was drowning in the chasm that Cillian had created, but Auden didn't want to save herself from it. Not this time.

Instead, she reached up and cupped his face in her palms before placing a single kiss on his lips. Auden felt like she hadn't kissed him in so long, though she knew that was bullshit. When she pulled away, Auden said nothing. She didn't have to, because a smile formed across his mouth, symbolizing that Cillian already knew what she was thinking. Auden loved him. She was in love with him too.

Cillian gestured his head towards her office door. "Let's go."
