A few days ago, on February 4, SM Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment left a statement that left the fans in shock. SM and Marvel has confirmed that the soloist will make her Marvel debut in the upcoming movie called 'The Avengers', which is also the sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As far as we know, Luna will be portraying a character called Freya, who is a powerful sorceress and the queen of a mysterious, yet ice-cold realm.

Two days later, the soloist stated that she has already met the cast and that they have been very welcoming and kind. Though she didn't say if she will be starring in more Marvel movies in the future, fans do hope she will return again.

During an interview, someone asked Luna how she felt about the amazing news, this is how she responded:
"I will forever be honored to be cast in the upcoming Marvel movie. When I first got the call, I was like: "Woah, this better not be a prank my manager is pulling on me again." But then I saw the director, Joss Whedon, and I'm like "OH MY GOD." To simply put it, it was a mind blowing moment for me. One that I will never forget."
