so i just rewatched black panther with my mum who has never seen it before and well- i forgot how iconic this film is??

like, when shuri puts her middle finger up at
t'challa? the moment i knew i was going to have to protect this teenage, genius princess.

just every interaction between t'challa and shuri was so wholesome and sweet-

okoye was amaZING- when she hit someone with her weave, when she said, 'when she wants to' to ross, when she defended wakanda 'without question'! god, my heart couldn't take it-

nakia and t'challa are freaking adorable together as well-

i am fairly certain i have discussed my undying love for this soundtrack,, but i adore it beyond words,, especially when the weeknd starts playing in that one scene, just- wow, cinematic poetry-

bUt, my favourite part of this film is literally michael b jordan. he is not in it enough in my opinion but i think that's just because i love looking at him. nonetheless, i love his character so much and he had a strong ass point though he went about it in the wrong way-

i cried so hard in his final scene-

and then, of course, i made my mum sit until the end of the credits for bucky, only for her to get really confused and ask why he was there in the first place. so then i had to explain civil war and-,,

but i loved this film?? i liked it more the second  time watching it and idk why. it's visually stunning to watch and the female characters are sO strong and i really loved everything about it-
