in my humble opinion,

everyone who faded away after thanos snapped his fingers are NOT dead.

it doesn't make bucky's weak, 'steve-' any less heart wrenching, it doesn't make peter crying, 'i don't want to go!' in tony's arms any less painful - but they are NOT gone.

i'm terrified to say that the only deaths that we can suppose are permanent are loki, gamora and vision. and please god NO do not let gamora be dead do not do this to quill i swear thanos i will-

the original avengers are left behind for a reason. they are the ones who have to save t'challa, peter, bucky (just look at these names, they are NOT going to get rid of these people), wanda, sam, strange and the guardians.

even if they aren't dead - it doesn't make it any less painful. all of these actors put their heart and soul into these performances - especially tom holland and chris pratt.

marvel needed this film to be darker. sure, it had plenty of jokes and funny scenes, but the mood when you left the cinema? idk about you but people were distraught (especially me). marvel have finally given consequences to the actions of these characters and even though i HATE him SO MUCH, thanos was a pretty bad ass, amazing villain.
