let me start by saying: their little scene in age of ultron only made me cry because i adore natasha and learning what she went through made me sOB.

but other than that, they are the weirdest pairing to ever be canon. (except sharon and steve because ew)

like,, who asked for these two to be a couple?? all of a sudden in age of ultron natasha could calm the hulk down and it was so abrupt and out of nowhere??

i knOw in avengers assemble that natasha was rightly traumatised by seeing bruce transform into the hulk and as a result be nearly killed,,,but???

but i guess natasha was the one to go get bruce for the avengers programme in the first place so you could argue they were building it up from the beginning, but i don't want thAT.

when natasha appeared on the screen in ragnarok for hardly ten seconds my whole heart flipped because i had completely forgotten about this romance between them, it was so wEIrd.

then in infinity war they kinda see each other and say hi and that is ALL?? like,, do you want me to be invested or not?

i love natasha and bruce is one of my lesser favourites of the mcu, so their relationship was kind of out of the blue and seemed so strange to me.
