   WE ALWAYS SEEM to be at our lowest when people need us most. It's always when you've been knocked down, beaten and bruised, that you have to push yourself the hardest to get back up. Always getting close to winning only to get knocked down twice as hard. But you must get back up and punch back thrice as hard.

Gwen never really gave much thought to the significance of her existence to others until one of her best friends died. Died believing she was a hero to look up to. So that's what she strived to be. For him. But it seems like she just couldn't stop failing.

In the public eye, she is a menace who takes the lives of innocent people with no remorse. In the eyes of her friends, she is a broken girl who is trying to pick up her pieces all by herself. Her mentor sees a strong kid who pushes herself to be better. In the eyes of her father, he sees nothing but his troublemaking daughter who thinks she can get away with anything because her daddy is the chief of police.

But in her own eyes, she sees someone trying to fix their mistakes.

Everyone who knew him took the death of Peter Parker hard. But no one took it harder then Gwen. Knowing she was the reason for his death, she blamed herself. Even the press had something to say about it.
