"So are you going to the wedding, Masani?" Hannah asked, taking a seat across from Masani. She passed her the sandwich she had just waited in line for at the local deli next to Cleveland Clinic.

Hannah and Masani worked at the same hospital. While Masani was a sonographer, Hannah worked at the front desk. Other than the two different professions, the two were rather inseparable.

"Hannah, I don't want to," Masani admitted, unraveling the sandwich from the wrap. "Like, at all."

The wedding was tomorrow and Masani hadn't spoken to her mother since yesterday. She didn't return any of her calls nor did she respond to her 46 text messages. And honestly...she didn't plan on doing so.

"But, San' it's your mom. I'm not telling you you should go, but I feel you have to give this more thought." Hannah stuffing the salad she had brung from home right into her mouth as she spoke.

Masani knew Hannah was right.

"You're right, but, damn. I hate that she's marrying him. I hate it so much. It doesn't feel right. It almost makes me sick to my fucking stomach." Masani took one bite of her sandwich and placed it back on the table. Suddenly, she had lost her appetite. Just the thought of her soon to be stepfather made her want to gag. Hannah noticed Masani wasn't eating anymore and stopped eating her salad that she was absolutely enjoying.

"If you decide to go, I'm coming with you. And it's not like we have to stay long. We can skip the wedding and just go to the reception. Or wait, even better! We can see them give a little quick kiss and bounce."

"Yeah, but she wants me to give a toast and shit since I refused to be a bridesmaid. That was my only other option," Masani sighed, resting her head on her hand that was lifted by her elbow.

"What do you think your mom would do if you decided not to attend?"

"I don't even want to think about it, honestly."

Hannah failed to respond. Masani couldn't blame her best friend. It was a tough spot.

"Well...Tell me about last night, bitch!" Hannah smiled, coming closer to Masani's space.

Masani rolled her eyes. "Bitch, here you go being nosy."

"Girl, you went home with," Hannah looked around the cafeteria so she wouldn't air out Masani's business. "Kevin fucking Love; of course I'm a be up in my girl's shit," Hannah whispered.

"Oh, and by the way, thanks for fucking leaving me?" Masani sassed, quickly trying to switch and turn the subject around. Masani took her last bite of the delicious wrap and began crumbling the paper the wrap was wrapped up in.

"Leaving you?" Hannah pointed to Masani. "bitch you left me! And I did you a favor. You were in the car with Kevin fucking Love!" Hannah shouted, forgetting to whisper his name. Eyes from some of the staff members in the cafeteria landed on the two of them. Masani slowly rolled her eyes, while Hannah eyed them back the same way they were looking at them.

"Kevin fucking Love, say it to the whole staff, Hannah." Masani sarcastically snickered, grabbing her belongings and making her way out of the cafeteria and to the blistering cold Cleveland winds. Hannah left the mess she made on the table and ran for the door, then returned to the table to leave grab her coffee mug, and finally reached Masani two buildings away from the cafeteria."

"Girl, it's not like Sandra's big mouth ass was in there," Hannah mentioned, pulling out the car keys from her leather coat and unlocking her truck.

"I cannot stand her ass. She's always up to some dumb ass shenanigans," Masani sneered, opening the passenger side of the door and quickly entering it to get away from the cold winds.

Masani watched as Hannah made her way around the other side of the truck to get in. Hannah had this truck for so many years now. It was the last gift that her father bought her before he passed after her 16th birthday. The truck was a bit rickety, but it managed to get her across town and back.

"Bro, yes! I think she spat in Susie's coffee mug," Hannah laughed, putting and twisting the keys in the ignition. "Then literally after she did that, Susie brewed herself some coffee, poured it into the mug, and drunk that bitch. She didn't even know."

"I would feel bad but Susie's a bitch too. I remember she tried to embarrass me in front of a whole family when I was doing the ultrasound for this lady. She's all in my ear like," Masani paused and cleared her voice before putting on her best 'Karen' voice. "'Do you need help? Because I can call Bob to do it,'"

Hannah hit the dashboard, laughing extra loud as she pulled out of the parking lot.

"Girl, yes! Both them bitches gotta go, for real."

Talking shit was mainly what they did. Now Masani wasn't a spiteful person — nor was Hannah, but talking shit amongst each other was how they became friends in the first place. Twitter was the beautiful birthplace of their friendship. While Masani has a decent amount of followers, Hannah had a huge amount of followers. She was followed by a handful of writers, bloggers, and actors. She would get invited to places just for the stuff she tweeted, whether it was humorous or just pictures of herself. Hannah was a shit-talker. She critiqued damn-near everything going on around the media.

"So is Kevin like the typical asshole athlete?"

"No, he wasn't an asshole. He was okay. He seems like he brings flings home all the time."

"Well masani, if I'm being honest you do too, love."

"Hannah, don't slut-shame me." Masani knew Hannah was just trying to be funny, but it was a joke that was becoming a bit tiring for Masani.

"Girl, trust me, the last thing I'll ever do is slut-shame," Hannah quickly defended, placing her car in park and taking the keys out the ignition. Masani rolled her eyes and placed her hand on the handle to let herself out, but she felt Hannah pull her back in. "We have a couple more minutes before we have to clock in!"

Masani sighed and looked at the time. It was 3:31 PM; they didn't have to clock back in until 3:40 PM.

"What was the question again?"

"How was he?"

"Kevin was..." Masani struggled to find the perfect word for him. Although he was a bit cold and distant earlier this morning, last night was damn near magical.

"He complimented and flattered me all the time like I was a fucking queen or something. Maybe it's apart of his charm but when he held me, he held me like he didn't want to let go. But once he let go, it was like he didn't want to hold me anymore; like he regretted ever doing it."

Masani didn't realize her eyes were closed as she was telling Hannah of how her time with Kevin was. She could almost revision everything that happened: the way he held her; how soft his lips were; the things he whispered in her ears.

"I think that's because he's on and off with Angela Houston," Hannah interrupted, instantly taking Masani out of her daze. The words that left Hannah's mouth felt like when the record scratches in a movie when the main character realizes or finds out some bullshit.

"The singing bitch?" Masani didn't know much about her. Hannah only knew her because her little sister was a huge fan of her and because Angela had liked some of Hannah's pictures on Instagram.

"Yes, but it's probably just all rumors. I try not to believe everything off The Shade Room's toxic ass page."

"Girl, why would you let me go home with a man in a relationship?"

"Who am I to stop my girl from getting some play? And besides, she doesn't have anything on you, Masani."

Masani playfully flaunts, making both of the girls laugh.

"You're a beautiful ass lady, Masani. He's probably trying so hard not to fall in love with you. Did he get your number?"

"Yeah, he told me to put it in his phone. I think he wants to see me tonight."

"Oh my gosh, bitch you're in there! You're about to see him tonight!"

"I don't know if I want to see him, though"

"It's better than seeing Vincent's ass."

The bitch just had to bring up Vince, Masani thought to herself.

"Oh, you're really trying it today!" Masani pointed her finger at Hannah and let herself out the car. Hannah laughed and followed her outside of the car.

"Bitch, I'm a hit you up later tonight! Cause we are going back out!"

**

"Kevin, you sure this is not your son?" Jordan Clarkson snickered at his phone. Kevin walked over to his teammate and looked over at what he was laughing at. It was an Instagram boomerang on angela's story of her son, Kason.

Kevin grabbed the towel around his neck, twisted it up, and swung it to Jordan's bareback. Jordan yelped in pain and continued to laugh.

"You're so fucking funny, Jordan."

"I mean he kind of looks like you, if you really look at him."

Kevin ignored his teammate and grabbed his phone.

After the girls had clocked in after their break, work had gone and passed pretty quickly. Masani truly loves her career and wouldn't trade it for any other career in the world. As she pulled into the driveway, Masani's phone began to ring. Her phone was connected to the car, so she could see the Caller ID on the touch screen radio.

Mommy

"Fuck," Masani whispered to herself. The phone continued to ring. Masani hesitated to press answer and finally pressed it on her last ring. Whew, was she ready for a shitstorm?

"Mommy, I was going to call –"

"Save it, Masani. I'm sure it'll save you from saying something very stupid."

"Mommy I-"

"I just wanted you to be there, Masani. That's all I asked. It's all I needed."

"Look, mom, I'm sorry. I really am. but I'm not going to pretend that I admire this marriage. You know it upsets me and —" once again Masani was cut off by her mother; this time with a scoff.

"My happiness upsets you, Masani?"

"What the fuck?" Masani whispered to herself. "Mom can you not twist my words around?"

"You are not a child! Just say how you feel, Masani. Say you don't want me to be happy."

Masani rested her head back on the seat and let out a deep sigh. Her hands met her face, her fingers sliding over to the side of her forehead to massage her temples. Masani's mother managed to twist everything she would say.

"I just don't care anymore, Mom. How about that?"

Masani expected her mother to start yelling and call her all types of obscenities, but all she heard was the phone hang up.

Another sigh left Masani's mouth. She didn't know what that had meant. Her mom never hung the phone up on her. She always told Masani and Kalyani that it was disrespectful to do so and to always end the call with a goodbye.

"Hey Siri, call Hannah," Masani called out. "I need a fucking drink," she then whispered.

**

"Yo, it was not this crowded in here yesterday," Hannah observed, walking into The Nine with Masani right beside her. There were many people up and dancing; almost too many people. People were lounging on the bar side and then you had your creeps that would just observe everything's that going on just standing in the corners of each and every section of the club. The music blared loudly. A live DJ stood tall in the back of the club, a group of people stood behind him as he spun the discs and turned the music up. It was definitely quite the scene today.

Masani's dress instantly began to glisten under the radiant lights from the ceiling. The way her dress was shining resembled a disco ball at the infamous Studio 54.

"Do you see him?" Hannah whispered in Masani's ear, holding her hand and pulling her amongst the crowd.

"Girl, hell no. He's probably not even here."

But he was. Kevin could see her from all the way in the VIP area. He took a swig of his drink, watching as she made her way over to a better area. He wanted to make sure she didn't go off too far.

The midst of the crowd reeked of alcohol and sweat.Masani couldn't count how many sweaty people had bumped into her arm and opened their mouth to say a drunken slurred apology.

"Nigga, get the fuck–" Hannah screamed at a young blonde guy who's hand was gripped on her arm. He was obviously drunk and had no clue what he was doing. Masani hurried and pushed him off with one hand before grabbing and pulling Hannah out of the dirty crowd. Finally the girls had reached the bar. Two empty seats were available.

"Bitch, never again," Hannah gagged.

Masani turned away from the crowd and stared upon the drinks the bartender was making.

"I should've just stayed home, Hannah," Masani groaned, resting her head on the island.

"No! Let's have fun and hold up," Hannah stopped. "This is my song!" Hannah exclaimed, bumping her head extra hard to "We Paid" by Lil Baby. Masani rolled her eyes and chuckled at her best friend.

'Maybe she was right,' Masani thought to herself. Suddenly Masani felt her phone vibrate in her purse that was lying against her thigh.

"Can I get you ladies a drink?" The bartender politely asked. Masani whispered "a Sangria," before pulling out her phone to see who was contacting her. The bartender's attention then went to Hannah's.

Masani looked down at the unknown number texting.

(216) ***-****: Damn, didn't think I see you that soon.

Masani already knew who this could be. How did he even see her from here. She had no idea where he was. Masani knew he couldn't be amongst the crowd; anyone would be able to single him height just from his height. Masani texted:

oh i didn't think you'll be here.

(216) ***-****: Turn around.

Masani turns around in the bar stool she was sitting in. For some reason, she expected him to be behind her, but all the way from across the dance floor, she sees him in the VIP area with a plaid tuxedo, his chest area fully exposed. The tux he had on was tailored to his size quite well; not too skinny nor big. Beautiful women were all swooned over him. One had they're hands all over his legs, while the other whispered things in his ear, but he wasn't paying them no mind. His blue eyes were on Masani, resembling a lion keeping their eyes on its prey. It was ravishing to say the least.

From Masani: Oh

She didn't want to come off as too easy. Masani saved his number as 'KL'.

KL: Come over here. I want to see you up closer.

Masani laughed to herself. She knew he could see her, so she made sure he seen her laugh at his request. Kevin's right eyebrow went up in confusion. She seen that.

From Masani: You look pretty occupied over there.

Kevin looked at the women surrounding him and smirked.

KL: Trust me baby girl, they have nothing on you. Matter of fact, wait a minute.

Masani was now confused. She watched as Kevin patted the lady's hand, politely telling her to remove herself. He then walked over to the body guard and whispered something in to his ear. She thought he whispered to the bodyguard to escort her over to the VIP area, but no — the bodyguard told everyone to exit the area. One by one, all of the beautiful women exited the VIP area, lastly being Kevin. Kevin dapped the body guard up and thanked him. That's when Masani watched as Kevin made eye contact with her once again. Kevin then made his way over to Masani. The way he navigated through the crowd was like something you'll see in a movie, almost slow motion like.

Masani slowly turned beside her to see if Hannah was paying attention to her or still ordering drinks, but she wasn't next to her anymore. She was maybe five or six seats down chatting up another handsome looking man.

Kevin and Masani were now face to face. Masani looked up at him as he looked down at her. He bit his lip and smiled before taking a seat next to her. He looked kind of awkward and out of sorts sitting in that small barstool. "You want me to buy you a drink?" was the first thing that came out of his mouth.

"Oh no I'm good. I have one right here," Masani answered, gesturing to the Sangria the bartender just finished making for her.

Kevin nodded and looked over to the bartender. "Put that on my tab."

"You didn't have to do that, you know?"

"I don't have to do a lot of things, Masani. But for you, I will."

Masani smiled and took a sip of her drink. Masani almost hated the charm he had. Kevin was smooth and she couldn't lie, she liked that. He said something, she couldn't make out.

"Hm?" Masani hummed, taking a sip of her Sangria. Kevin pointed at the glass she was drinking out of.

"The drink?"

"Yeah, what are you sipping on?" Kevin asked, getting closer so she could hear him.

"Just a sangria."

"Ah, interesting. Did you know sangria is Spanish for 'blood?" He said, feeling a little too excited to be sharing that information.

"Yes, I actually did know that."

"Oh yeah, I forgot you're like a fucking doctor or something."

"Boy, what does that have to do with me knowing the origins of a wine drink?" Masani laughed, Kevin joining her.

"You're smart, Masani," Kevin said, once again getting close so she could hear her over the music. "You probably have a whole section of fun facts and little brain teasers on the left side of your brain."

"You think I'm some little BuzzFeed quiz, huh?" Masani chuckled, placing her drink down.

Kevin couldn't help but laugh after taking a sip from his wine glass. He set the glass down and traced his eyes from her beautiful face all the way to her feet. When she walked past the VIP area and into the crowd, Kevin could've sworn everything and everyone else blurred out. She was the only in his eye view.

"Let me take you over to the VIP area."

Masani took her eyes off Kevin, feeling a rush of nervousness rush to her cheeks. "With all that attention? I don't know. That seems real major."

Masani had her fair share runaround with men, but Kevin was the most well-known man she had been with.

Kevin realized how nervous she was becoming, so he softly took her hand that was on the bar. He gently rubbed against her knuckles as he continued to look into her eyes. "I promise nobody will be checking on me and you. The press is never here, that's why I come. Let me take you over there."

Something about the way he was looking at her made Masani feel a bit calmer. She smiled at him, letting him know that she trusted him.

Kevin got up from his seat and dusted his thighs off before lifting Masani's hand to guide her from the bar area. "Just follow me, I got you."

The attention had seemed to be on the two of them. Masani made sure to cover her face with the hand Kevin wasn't holding as they made their way through the crowd. It wasn't as hard and tedious than the first time. From Masani's view, the sweaty dancers looked like they had made an open cross way for them to get through, almost like how Moses parted the Red Sea.

"See that wasn't so bad," Kevin reassured, letting go of Masani's hand to rub her cheek, making Masani blush once again. The bodyguard opened the curtains, revealing a nice and cozy lounge room. The room was a different light than from outside the club. The club was surrounded by blue and white lighting, this room had red and pink lighting and also carpeted floors.

Kevin allowed Masani to go in first and he followed behind her.

"Do you want me to close the curtains for privacy or you're fine?"

"Um, it's fine," Masani answered, taking a seat on the black couch.

"Okay, cool." Kevin took a seat next to her. Kevin noticed she seemed a little nervous. "Are you sure you want the curtains open?"

Masani was a little weary about people being able to peek in and see her with an NBA basketball star. "Could you close them?"

"Of course, I got you." Kevin rose from off the couch and swiftly closed the curtain. Although a small gesture, Masani appreciated it dearly.

Kevin took a seat next to her and gently picked up her hand and rubbed her knuckles. "I'm sorry, your hands are just really soft."

"I get told that a lot," Masani wasn't facing him. A cheeky smile was on her face and the redness in her cheeks started to show.

"Aw, I didn't know you were this shy. You don't have to be shy around me," Kevin smiled.

"What? I'm not shy, just-" Masani stopped, not knowing what to say. She was never this shy around a guy. Usually she would be the one in control and leading the conversation.

"Then why you don't want to face me?" Kevin laughed, leaning back to the couch.

Masani quickly brushed her nervousness off. She reminded herself that he was just like any other guy, although he was not at all.

"Like this?" Masani faced him, an almost sinister look on her face. She scooted up to him a little more. "Are you sure you can handle me this close to you?"

Kevin's eyes widened. He moved closer to her.
"There goes the girl I met yesterday," Kevin pointed to her. "Are you here alone?"

"No, my best friend is here with me. She's somewhere around."

Kevin grabbed two empty glass bottles from off the table in front of them. He poured one glass and looked over at Masani and asked "Did you want some? Its Dom Perignom."

She nodded and he continued to pour to the same length as his cup. He lifted both bottles and gave the bottle to Masani.

"Thank you," Masani thanked, taking a sip of the wine, leaving her red lipstick on the brim of the glass.

"How was your day, Masani?" Kevin's full attention was towards her. No guy had ever asked how her day was.

"Um, it was a typical day for me," Masani shrugged. "I went home, got ready for work and then came back home. Finally, decided to come here."

"Well, lucky for you," Kevin stretched, placing his finished wine on the table, "it won't be so boring anymore."

"Let me guess, 'cause i'm with you?"

"More like what I plan to do with you," Kevin seductively flirted, placing his hand on her waist.

"Oh yeah?" Masani asked with a lower voice, her eyebrow raising a bit.

"You should see the marks you left on my back. It's actually quite the picture. They're all red and long. Almost looks like a picture of fucking lightning on my back. I couldn't even take my shirt off at practice. I was sweating like shit too."

"Kevin, in order for more marks on your back, you have to work for it."

"I'm willing to do so," Kevin pulled her a little more close to him to where she could smell the cologne on his chest. He lifted her chin to place a soft kiss on her plump lips. Masani kissed him back, sliding her tongue in for an entrance. Kevin released from the kiss and dove for her neck, licking across her jawline before attacking her neck with kisses.

"You just can't wait, huh?" Masani moaned, her hand massaging and rubbing his hair.

"Let's go, then."

**
3:38AM

Kevin wasn't exactly a wild sleeper, but his abnormal size and weight made it a little difficult for Masani to fall asleep. His face was stuffed into his pillow and his arm was spread across her stomach. Masani continued to stare at the ceiling. Although she had just had an amazing time with Kevin, she couldn't escape the guilt from possibly missing her mother's wedding. What seemed like months away had now only turned into a few hours from now.

She sighed deeply and shut her eyes for a moment. It seemed as if no matter what distraction Masani had indulged her self in, this inevitable feeling continued to eat at her spirits. Masani slowly shifted her body Kevin's way, slightly pushing his arm down to her hip. Kevin felt this slight move of his arm and drug his face out of his comfy pillow, slowly turning his head to make eye contact with the wide awake woman.

"Masani, are you ok? You need anything?" Kevin groggily asked, obvious sleepiness and raspiness in his voice. He rubbed his eyes and rolled over to his right side.

"Are all big guys humongous snorers?" Masani rested her hand on his face, massaging his hairy cheeks.

"Uh, does it bother you? Because I can sleep on the couch if it does." If it was only a bit lighter in his room, Masani would be able to see the slight redness on his cheeks, but she could feel his cheeks heighten from him cheesing and so hard. She just had that affect on him.

"No, of course not!" Masani said, shaking her head. "Can you maybe — never mind, I'm sorry."

"Eat you out?"

"No, no," Masani chuckled, hiding her face with her hands and placing her head down to her chest. " Could you put your arm around me? I know it's weird and if you don't want to I totally understand —"

Without hesitation, Kevin used his strength and pulled her into his chest. "Like this?"

Their lips brushed each other's. Masani's exposed breast pressed against Kevin's slightly hairy chest as his arm was wrapped around her waist.

"Perfect, actually. Thank you," Masani answered, slowly turning her body around to press her back against his chest. She scooted back a bit more so her butt could press against his length just to tease him a little. Kevin snickered at her slyness and pressed a kiss against her check before attacking her hips with slight tickles. Masani couldn't contain her laughter and let out a huge hiccup.

"You're such a tease, M."

"A tease?"

"Yeah. With you pressing your nice ass on me. What are you trying to do to me?"

"I don't know," Masani slightly shrugged. "Thank you," she whispered.

"No need to thank me. We probably would end up awake like this anyway."

Kevin wanted her to respond, but she had already drifted off to sleep. For some reason, his heart felt like it was bumping out of his chest. He had hoped that she didn't feel it too much on her back. But little did he know, that was helping her fall asleep.

**
Kevin eyes slowly opened as the sun was barely rising up. He had expected to still feel Masani in his arms, but she wasn't there. He quickly rubbed his eyes and clearly seen her sitting on the side of the bed. Her head was down and her full bare back was exposed.

"Hey, is something on your mind?" Kevin groggily asked, his morning voice not being too loud or soft spoken.

Masani looked over at the clock which read 6:37 AM. It was only a couple more hours until the wedding.

"It's just — no, i can't burden you with my fucking problems. You probably have practice in an hour and i'd just be wasting your time," Masani said, still not looking his way.

"I don't have practice today so I' m all ears. I can't have you leaving my house sad or upset." Kevin leaned up against the headboard, continuing to rub his eyes and stretch out his long legs.

Masani slowly turned towards him. His hair was once again messy and his beard was straggly. Damn, did he look good leaned up against the headboard like that. As much as she wanted to tell him everything, it just didn't seem right. Who knows if she were to see him again? And why should she tell him her business so quickly and fast.

Masani crawled over to him. She placed her hand on his cheek and pulled him closer for a quick peck on the lips and cheek. It was so quick and smooth, Kevin couldn't even get the chance to kiss her back or react how he wanted to. She snuggled up under the covers and into his arms. For her, that just felt safer than fully opening up to this guy.

Kevin was a bit taken back by this. He never snuggled up to his flings, or let alone, cuddle with them. But still, Kevin wrapped his arm around her.

"I'm guessing you're not going to tell me and that's okay. I understand," Kevin reassured, gently resting his back on the headboard and massaging her waist.

"Come here," Masani whispered, pulling his hand closer to her lower leg, hinting that she wanted him.

Kevin allowed her to place his hand where she wanted him, a slight moan escaping her lips. Immediately, Kevin's lips attached to her neck.

Feeling needed wasn't too bad.

**
"Well, damn maybe you're not such a tease." Kevin laughed, passing Masani's underwear that was under the bed.

Masani scoffed and caught it with her right hand. "When you bring the next girl over here, does she ever get tired of your smart ass mouth?"

"Woah, woah woah," Kevin's hands went up, him also trying to hide the smirk that wanted to appear on his lip. "Who said there were other women? You might be the only one I'm bringing home."

Of course, it was a lie. Why would Kevin tell her the truth? In his experience, women simply did not want to hear about there being other women in his bed and in his arms. Also, he didn't know how Masani would react.

Masani scoured for the dress she wore. "Yeah, Kevin, I'm not that dense. Some big time NBA player brings only one girl over here to fuck? As if I didn't see you all boo'd up with the ladies in the VIP area."

"Ok, but am I bringing them home?"

"I can't find my fucking dress!" Masani screamed, becoming obviously annoyed.

"Ok, ok, just throw on this," Kevin threw a pair of his Nike shorts and a long white sleeve shirt. "I'll find your dress sometime this week and return it."

"What do you mean are you bringing them home? Of course you're bringing them home. They're not just fucking decorations, Kevin," Masani responded, completely ignoring his gesture and putting on the shorts along with the shirt quite roughly.

"No, they're not 'decorations' but it's no guarantee that I am taking them home. Beautiful ladies come and go; the ladies at the VIP just happen to stay sometime."

"Do you know how much that dress cost? I know the dog didn't eat it." Masani thought aloud, almost ignoring the bullshit coming out of Kevin's mouth.

"I'm not asking how many guys you bring home!" Kevin yelled.

Masani froze from her train of thought and stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes stayed on his and her face was stern. Kevin immediately regretted saying that.

"Kevin, don't start with me, okay?" Masani softly rolled her eyes and continued to scour for her dress under the bed.

Kevin didn't want to press the question any further, but he did quite enjoy annoying her. The dress that she was looking for was right beside him, but watching her look for it was quite amusing.

"Dude, what the fuck! I'm getting so irritated," Masani chuckled to herself, trying to hide the fact that she was becoming furious.

"You think this'll fit me, though?" Kevin picked the dress up from beside him and put it in front of him. "I just think the arms would be a little tight."

"You asswipe!" Masani ran to the other side of the bed and snatched it from him.

"Asswipe? My bad, I didn't know you meant that dress."

Masani punched his arm, a laugh escaping from her gorgeous smile.

Kevin hoped that the smile she had on her face right at this moment stayed on her face for the rest of the day. He didn't know exactly what was up, but he knew something was wrong.

Masani punched his arm just a little bit heavier a second time. Kevin's eyes widened as he looked down at the smaller woman. "Girl, why again?"

"Don't be lying to other women taking about, 'You're the only I bring home, Becky,'" Masani mocked Kevin's voice. "That can fuck anyone up. You're lucky I'm not one of them, cause if I were to find out you were lying to me, I would beat your ass. But I know how you get down, you don't need to know how I get down. Keep it 2 virgils."

And with that, Masani walked away into his master bathroom. Last time, she went to the guest bathroom, but she wasn't just a 'simple' guest anymore.

For Kevin, Masani was up there; she wasn't like anyone he had met before.

Not even Ang.
