"yuta, can i ask you a question?" taeyong asked, raising an eyebrow, "shoot" yuta said, washing the cups and plates, "are you gay?" yuta stopped his motions, biting his lower lip. "that is none of your business, now i have to finish these.." yuta sternly said, finishing up.
"c'mon yuta, it's okay i could keep a secret." taeyong pleaded for the answer, again yuta stopped, turning towards taeyong with a blank facial expression, "i will say this and i'm only going to say it once," yuta said, "i will tell you when i'm comfortable." he said, turning off the water.
"ugh-" taeyong whined, following yuta like a dog, "please, please, please yuta, just tell me and i will forget it." he continue to plead, yuta sighed, rubbing his temples, "lee taeyong, look at me." yuta turned around, grabbing taeyong's shoulder, pulling him close- staring at taeyong's eyes.
taeyong gasped, feeling his heart jump out at the sudden action, feeling his body temperature rising up. "ahh-" taeyong screamed uncomfortably, his cheeks turning red, while yuta has a expressionless emotion.
"huh." yuta grinned, "are you gay, taeyong?" yuta tilted his head, raising an eyebrow, mimicking him, with his expressionless face- taeyong could feel his body temperature increasing as he continue to stare back at him. as a reflection, he quickly pushes off yuta as he was holding onto his shoulder.
"that's a ridiculous question to ask a guy.." taeyong mumble, "'are you gay?' you literally asked that question like two minutes ago and now you're saying it's ridiculous question?" yuta rolled his eyes, going to the register. "i wasn't expecting that you were going to ask that to me!" taeyong deafening himself.
"right." yuta mumbled, he heard the ring bell as a person entered the cafe, seeing the same guy yesterday as usual, the guy walked towards him as he looked at the menu above yuta. "hello welcome to nature cafe, would you like the usual?" yuta said politely.
"yeah.." the guy rubbed his neck embarrassed, knowing that yuta knows what his usual is. "coming right up" yuta smiled, scooping the grind coffee beans, putting onto portafilter, putting in the grouphead.
"i see you guys are looking for employees, is that true?" mark said, "yeah three of the baristas quit, but if you are interested on applying, there is applications next to the exit." yuta informed as he finished making the americano. "how many people have applied?" mark asked as yuta set down the coffee cup on the counter. "right now, there is five people applied, the deadline is next week"
"does it have to apply with experience?" yuta pursed his lips, furrowing his eyebrows. "no, but me and my other co-worker could help." yuta said, "okay.." mark nodded, giving him 5 bucks. "thank you, yuta"
"you're welcome, have a nice afternoon" yuta smiled, putting the money in the register, getting out the change, "keep it." mark grinned, going to the exit, grabbing the application as he walked out. "heh.." yuta put the back the change in the register.
"how is that small talk with that guy?" taeyong appeared, leaning back on the counter. "this idiot.." yuta mumbled, continue cleaning the tables, "i don't know if that's a sentence or you just insulted me.."
"a compliment" yuta smile, chuckling a bit. "ah thank you~" taeyong smiled too, "again, how was the small talk?"
"i will kill you if you keep asking that question.." yuta murmured, finishing up as he put away the cleaning supplies. "is that a threat-"
yuta glared, hovering his eyes then his lips turned into a grin. "would you like to know?" yuta tilted his head, raising an eyebrow, taeyong just stepped back a bit as yuta was leaning forward. "no thanks.." taeyong mumbled.
"great, now i can go on with my break" yuta says, putting the cleaning supplies in the closet- taking off the apron, "it's break time already? i thought it starts at 13:15pm" taeyong looked at the time, seeing it was 13:16pm. "oh-"
"sup guys," taeil said, walking into the cafe. "hey taeil, you're just in time" taeyong said happily, "for what?" taeil said, confused- taeyong looked at him, raising an eyebrow, about to facepalm.
"never mind, don't tell me, i get it." taeil said, sitting next to taeyong, "so yuta, fi-" yuta threw a straw at him, telling him to shut up, as taeyong confusingly looked at both of them, "uh, what were you going to say, taeil?"
taeyong raised an eyebrow, looking at him. taeil looked at yuta for a second then back to taeyong.
"uh.." yuta stood up, pursing his lips. "i would rather not him saying anything that he was about to say, as the time- our break is over." yuta said, quickly walking away, going to put on the apron. "ugh, he's so annoying.." taeyong mumbled.
"well, i have to go, my break ends at 13:30" taeil looked at the time, seeing it's 13:15, "see you later" taeil said, waving at yuta, walking out the exit.
"yuta, what was he going to say-" yuta turned towards him, having a frown planted upon his lips, "like i said, i will tell you when i'm comfortable, right now it's not the time.."
"and don't plead or beg for an answer, i'm not going to barge.."
taeyong pouted, he hated have his friends keep a secret from him, it was killing him inside as he was dying to know what is the secret that taeil and yuta are hiding from him, he let out a sigh.
"fine, i won't.." taeyong murmured, putting on his apron as he grabbed it off the hook.
"good." yuta simply answered, turning his heel as he put flipped the sign to 'open.' taeyong started to doze off, as he was sitting down on a chair that was behind the counter, he kept thinking of what kind of secret of what they are hiding.
he let out a huff, feeling a little pissed as he felt betrayed a bit. 'i will let you barge to tell me what he was trying to say..' taeyong thought, hearing the bell ring as a person entered the cafe. "hi what could i get for you?" taeyong greeted, plastering a fake smile.
