cedar had an atypical childhood. the only home she'd ever known is the inside of an rv, and a dingy one at that.
her father was tire of the constant arguing. he and her mother would get into physical fights when it escalated and her mother would often loose. the way he gloated did not sit well with cedar, she grew to hate him.
he was found dead a few weeks after her mother and sisters had fled the rv park they were settled in. they never turned back and had been on the run ever since.
cedar became fascinated with death and spirit. her spiritualism sprang from that interest. she took a cow against violence and acquainted herself with the power of her own mind and the universe.

her kindness and compassion for people is her most redeeming quality. she is very self-aware and emotionally aware. her empathy gives her insight into the people around her that might otherwise be passed over.

her mother, her sisters and her were the ones responsible for the death of their father. he was high on cocaine and attacking their mother with ferocity never before exhibited. she and her sisters sprung into action to defend their mom. they held him back and hit him with things until their mom took a potted plant and bashed his head in with the pot. they dumped his body, wiping it free of prints and escaped. the police have little record of her family or her father. he wasn't married to her mother by law and they didn't officially have birth certificates. when they finally got them, cedar asked for her new name to be sari cedar love. her mother married and all her children took the last name of her new husband, effectively eliminating "jenkins" from he life.
