though makoto and kaiser have completely different personalities, and they practically despise eachother-- makoto can't help but sympathize with his past. especially since he has felt that same deep scar on his heart that kaiser had.

it brings back memories.from the past.. "please-- i need help.. my sister had gotten sick! please, please.." the 9 year old, with slightly dirty light blue tinted white hair was begging for help, holding his young sister in his grasp.. kanade. she was pale, and burning up. laying her head on his lap.

though, everyone was walking by.. the faces blurred, no one would help-- and it felt like makoto would be truly alone in this world. some people even glanced at the poor two kids, giving a slightly disgusted glance at how filthy they look. its been awhile since they ran away from their parents for various of reasons-- makoto wouldnt dare to narrate. but just like how someone saved and practically raised kaiser, a tall figure leant down infront of both the sleeping kanade and the devastated makoto.

and if makoto slowly gave up hope..then his savior, noel noa.. the one who took him in, and raised him was the one who restored his hope back did.
