Sleeping didn't come easy. Sometimes, Harley had trouble from being hungry or scared of what hid in the woods. Tonight, though, she fell asleep with too many thoughts to bare. She was scared, thinking of The Ark and what was happening up there. After her wristband burned out, she had Monty break it off, figuring that there was no longer a use to it now. The Ark thought they were all dead, and Clarke's words about their air running out raced through Harley's head, figuring there was no way they would come down now.

Then, Harley thought about Murphy. She couldn't have figured out why she had cared about him. She started wondering if he was okay after being banished, staying hopeful, even if it wasn't possible. After seeing what the grounders did to Jasper, a kid the same age as Murphy, there was the possibility of no mercy for him either. The same way it was for Murphy at the camp, when they hung him.

Harley had barely dozed off in the tent she shared with Roma, who had snuck into Bellamy's for a fun night, when she heard some people shouting from outside. She was still exhausted, but threw aside the cloth she used as some type of a blanket and peeked her head out of her tent slowly while brushing her knotted hair out of her face. The others that were outside were murmuring and pointing to the sky. The night chill was getting to her, so Harley grabbed her jacket and slipped it on.

Curious, Harley brought herself out of her tent. She zipped her jacket up before tilting her head back, seeing what everyone was staring at in awe and pointing. Her blue eyes widened at the sight, seeing a giant spark in the sky that was falling curvily. "Oh, it looks like a shooting star!" Harley gasped softly in admiration, yet feeling relieved. It had to be from The Ark. It looked too small for any guards or people to be inside, but maybe they thought the delinquents on the ground were alive despite their wristbands going out. They could be sending down useful supplies, something to help.

"They're coming to help us!" Jones, a male delinquents called out. "Now we can kick some grounder ass!" The others shouted in agreement, ready.

Roma, however, looked up with a blanket wrapped around her half nude body.It was beyond Harley how she, Bellamy, and the other girl he slept with could show this much skin when it's cold. "Please tell me they brought down some shampoo," she mumbled. Harley reached up subconsciously to touch her knotted and greasy hair, thinking her tent mate was right. She's been feeling dirty and gross, but she supposed it'd have to be something to become used to.

Bellamy turned away immediately, retreating into his tent. Confused, Harley turned around when seeing Jones follow him. She rolled back and forth on the balls of her heels before turning to Octavia with her brows furrowed. "Are we heading after that thing?" She asked. It was the best choice. Bellamy was probably planning the short trip to wherever it landed; as their leader.

"I don't know," Octavia murmured back, her voice laced with tiredness. "Let's find out." She stalked off, and Harley hesitated before skipping after, her feet rushing to keep up. Octavia threw open the the opening flap of the tent, moving to let Harley follow her inside.

"If it cleared the ridge, than it's probably near the lake," Jones was speaking, pointing to a place on the map that was laid out in front of Bellamy, who was no longer shirtless. Jones had his arms behind his back, like he was talking to a general, as did the other two delinquents listening.

Entering, Octavia made her announcement. "We should get moving. Everyone's getting ready."

"No one's going anywhere," Bellamy claimed way too quickly. "Not while it's dark, it isn't safe." Octavia looked shocked, as did Harley, dropping her expression. "We'll head out at first light; pass the word," he commanded. Jones, along with the other two nodded automatically before heading out, obeying. Harley stepped to the side, letting them pass.

Bellamy tried to leave as well, but Octavia quickly stepped forward and stopped him. "Everyone for a hundred miles saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first?" She pointed out. "Bell, we should go now."

Seeing that this was a private sibling moment, Harley backed up. "I'm just gonna.." She jutted her thumb behind her. "Yeah." She turned away, scampering out of the tent before the two burst into an argument that she didn't want to be apart of.

Roma was in the tent when Harley arrived, putting her clothes back on. She jumped at the sound, turning around and ready to seemingly bite whoever disturbed her but stopped when seeing it was just her tent mate. "Oh. It's just you," she said, flipping her hair out of the shirt she pulled on. "Is Bell ready to leave?"

"Actually, he wants to stay until first light," Harley responded, flopping down on the uncomfortable and flat bed she had made to sleep on. "Weird, right? I mean, we should head for it now."

"Weird, sure," Roma repeated with a snort. "Well, if he's still here.." She trailed off, making Harley catch the hint as she watched her grab her jacket and head out, back to his tent for another round.

Harley raised her hand, waving at Roma as she left. "Have fun, then!" She called after her, her voice echoing enough for others to hear and possibly embarrassing Roma. "She probably will," she mumbled to no one but herself, before laying back down, feeling tired all over again. Harley shut her eyes, allowing herself to sleep.

When Harley did wake up, she hardly had time for a simple meal before Clarke and Finn were demanding for everyone to head to the river that they supplied their water from. Confused, she followed with the other delinquents, only to find out the only thing in that ship that dropped was a person, Raven Reyes. She was a mechanic in The Ark, who had apparently brought down a radio for contact that was lost due to Bellamy's recklessness. So far, that all Harley really knew.

That's how Harley had found herself knee deep in the river, bending over and inspecting the water. Everyone else was searching, some even farther, to see if the current could have carried it away. Apparently, it hadn't. Harley knelt down, her eyes squinting when seeing an odd shaped box against the ledge of the grass. She rolled up her sleeves before reaching into the water, her hands gripping it before lifting it out of the water. "Hey!" She called out, catching the other's attention. "I think I might have found it!" It'd be surprising if it wasn't, considering there wasn't any other electronics in the bodies of water.

Raven was the first to race over, treading across the water. She's a pretty girl with long dark hair and fierce looks, and clearly incredibly smart. Harley handed her the radio, and Raven turned it over, making water pour out of it. "Do you think you can fix it?" She asked, watching her pick wet leaves out of it.

Sighing, Raven shrugged. "Maybe, but it'll take half the day just to dry out the components to see what's broken," she answered, disappointing Harley.

"Like I said, it's too late," Bellamy said from a distance. He looked calm, too uncaring after what he had done.

Angry, Clarke stormed up to him with her fists clenched. "Do you have any idea what you did?!" She shouted. "Do you even care?!"

"You asked me to help," Bellamy retorted. "I helped."

"Three hundred people are gonna die today because of you!" Clarke exclaimed, catching Harley by surprise. That was the one thing she didn't know. She knew that The Ark was running low on oxygen, and the only way to preserve more was to have people not be there to breathe it in anymore. Harley's mouth gaped and she brought her hand up to her mouth to cover it, upset at the thought of her people being sacrificed.

Interrupting, Raven held up her hand to calm the pair. "Hold up," she cut in slowly, like she was thinking hard. "We don't have to talk to The Ark. We just have to let them know we're down here, right?"

"Yeah," Finn answered. "But how do we do that with no radio?" Raven grinned at his question, somehow pleased with herself. Whatever plan she had, Harley was ready.

The heaviest thing by far Harley lugged was a rocket. The group of delinquents pulled together, from the poorer class to the highest, and worked to signal The Ark with Raven's flares. She hoped and hoped that it would work, and they'd see the flares, to find out that they were on the ground and alive.

Harley passed by a group that were building the bonfire, ready to light them up. Harley huffed as she and two others set the last one in place, to the metal braces made that clicked them in place. She backed up, leaving the rest to the smart ones. They hooked the wires together to a machine, and with a single press, they were off. Harley watched in amazement with her arms crossed over her chest as the spark turned purple and they shot into the sky.

"It's so pretty," Harley whispered in amazement as the delinquents cheered. She didn't care no one was listening to her. It was a beautiful sight; coming from her, who had grown up with her face pressed against the windows of The Ark like a child to admire each and every star.

Even though Harley was delighted by the sight, she hoped with every part of her caring heart that The Ark could see them.
