"God I hate you for being so fucking photogenic." Raelee told me from behind her camera. The flickering could be heard as she pressed on the button.

I continued to do simple poses I had copied from a video I saw on tik tok as Claire watched from the side. Her eyes studying me as if she was taking notes.

It was a clear Saturday afternoon and the girls had spent most of the day together, walking around, eating and taking pictures.

I dragged the girls into a park to take pictures since I was feeling myself and had worn too good of an outfit. "C'mon! Lets gooo" I told them.

Claire was always camera shy at first, awkward with her body and how to pose so she always made Rae and I go first.

"Do something else now." Rae told me as I moved my head to the side a bit, closing my eyes.

"Wait hold on someones in the back." I heard the shuttering of the camera stop as I see Rae lower the camera. I turned around to see a girl peeking around the trees.

"Oh shoot, sorry I didn't mean to photobomb." The girl spoke out, she moved from behind the trees showing herself. Her voice had sounded familiar and when I saw a clear view of her face that's when I realized.

It was Azami.

"Oh hey! Oh my gosh, nice to see you again!" She exclaimed when her face looked at mine, she walked closer with her arms out, one of them holding a book. We joined together into a hug, she was shorter than I remembered, I thought to myself. She was at least a few inches below me.

"Oh sorry I'm a hugger." She chuckled as she stepped away to embrace Claire and Raelee into a hug.

I watched as they hugged, noticing the smiles on their faces. She looked to be always happy, I noted.

"I'm Azami by the way, though call me Ami, I feel like I'm in trouble when someone calls me by Azami." She told me. I gave her a sweet smile.

"I'm Kaya, nice to meet you." I nodded my head at her as she did the same. "Nice to meet you too...hope we didn't scare you off the other day."

I shook my head as I fumbled with my hands in front of me. "Oh no no, you're all good. It's totally fine." I noticed Raelee and Claire had walked away to engage in another photoshoot. Leaving me and Ami alone.

We both sat down on the bench I had previously sat on as our eyes were trained on the street a few feet in front of us.

"So do you go to school nearby?" She said, clearing the air.

I nodded my head thought she wasn't looking in my direction. "Yeah I go to Kingsbury."

She turned to me and grinned, "No way! I go there too!"

I smiled at her, "I know." I chuckled then stopped abruptly when I realized how creepy that sounded. "Oh I mean I have you in some of my classes."

She nodded then continued to ask, "Which ones?"

"First period, Mr. Williams, third with Mr. Haas, lunch but i don't know if that counts as a period, and then seventh with Mrs. Williams." I said counting down my fingers.

She grabbed onto my arm, the cold covers of her book chilling my warm skin. "Isn't Mr. and Mrs. Williams amazing! I'm so glad I have Mr. Williams in the beginning of my day, he's one of the best teachers. And of course Mrs. Williams at the end, she always ends school super fun." She told me. She was a VERY happy person.

I nodded my head then looked down at her book. "What book are you reading?" I asked, desperate to move to another topic to avoid awkward silence.

She raised the book to eyes level. "Just Little Women, I had watched the old version, you know the one with Winona Ryder," Nodding my head in understandment, she went on. "And I felt like reading the book. I had just bought it actually. I was coming from the book store with Lou."

Confusion crossed my mind, "Lou?"

"Oh Louis." Ohh her boyfriend. "My boyfriend, he was one of the other guys with me that day."

"Wait where is he then?" I asked.

"He's at soccer practice. We had gone to the book store to read and stuff. It's kind of our thing, but then time passed too quickly and he had to run out to make it on time." She clarified.

I looked at her, "Awe thats sweet." I told her., noticing a small smile reaching her lips.

She was about to speak again, but was cut off by a message on her phone. She quickly read it before looking up at me, "Shoot, I got to go, my friends family is asking me to get them all boba."

I cleared my throat before standing up, then she pulled me into a hug. "Oh shoot wait, let me add you on instagram!" She then pulled out her phone.

"What's your instagram?" She asked me.

I peered over her screen. "It's kayad. K-A-Y oh yeah that one."

She tapped on it and gasped. "Dude you're so photogenic! Ugh."

We both laughed before another text message popped up on her phone. She looked at it then began to walk away still facing me.

"I got to go, but nice meeting you Kaya! See you at school!" Then I watched as she walked away around the corner.

"She's so nice, super happy too." I commented too when Raelee and Claire joined my side.

"Yeah she is, don't know how she does it though."
Raelee replied.

"Send me the pictures so I can post!" I exclaimed.
