Not you too

"It truly hurts me to think that my actions have caused anyone emotional distress. When I think of the pain I may have caused, I-I just...Well, I feel awful. Everyday, I wish that I could go back in time. I was used to a certain culture of partying and hookups, and many of us never question it, but it is time to question it. And I know that I need to be the one to set and example." Bryce continues to say. Mia sits next to her mom with her arms crossed.

"I'm--I'm trying everyday to be a better man. To be the man that my parents raised me to be. And to be a positive influence at Liberty High. It is my sincerest hope that you will allow me to do so. Thank you sir." Bryce finishes his fake plead and as he leaves the stand Jessica walks up.

"Your Honor, thank you for this opportunity to address the court. If it's all right, for the first part of my statement I'd like to address the defendant directly." Jessica says. The judge agrees and Mia inhales.

"The first weekend in September, my parents were out of town and my little brothers were at their grandparents'. I wanted to host a party, like I thought a popular cheerleader should. My boyfriend was there. Your friend Justin. We had been drinking. We decided to go up to my room. I remember making out with him. And then I and I started to fall asleep or...or pass out. I just...I remember thinking that I needed to close my eyes for a few minutes." Jessica says with hesitation. Mia feels a lump form in her throat as she feels her memories start to come back.

"Then he walked out of the room. Then I remember waking up to you pulling off my underwear. I remember you pushing yourself inside of me. I may not remember all the details, but I will never forget the sheer terror of feeling your weight on top of me, of not being able to breathe." Jessica turns her eyes over to Bryce.

Mia felt her anxiety kick in as she looks to the side of her and sees Hannah repeating what she said in her tape. Mia closes her eyes and slows her breathing down, 'You are strong, you are powerful...it is all going to be okay.' Mia repeats the words her therapist told her to say. She nods her head as she opens her eyes and doesn't see Hannah there. Mia sighs with relief.

She sits back down and holds her mother's hand. "Your Honor, when we leave this courtroom, Bryce Walker gets to leave convinced that he chose the wrong girl to have sex with. I get to leave constantly looking over my shoulder for monsters dressed up as the popular kid, and assuming the worst in every boy. The sentence you decide today can tell Bryce Walker what he did was wrong. It can say that every boy, every man who behaves like he does. And it can say to victims like me that our story matters. Thank you." Jessica sits down with her family.

Mia nervously picks at her nails, "Prosecution has put forth a sentencing recommendation. Does the defense have anything to contribute?" The judge questions.  "Your Honor, this is terribly unfortunate event. And two young lives have been changed forever. Bryce has lost all his scholarship offers. The school district has cancelled what might well have been a championship season. There is regret on all sides. We urge the court to let these two young people start rebuilding and return to their lives." Bryce's Lawyer says.

"This is a tragedy all around. As a judge, it's my role to look at both sides. And California law requires every judge to consider rehabilitation and probation for first-time offenders. I'd like to see these two young people look hard at their lives and their choices. But I don't want to do any further damage. Mr. Walker..."

Bryce stands up to await the judges decision. "I expect you to walk the straight and narrow. I'm sentencing you to three months probation. So ordered." The judge hits the gavel and Mia feels anger fill her body.

"Your Honor, three months probation?" Clay's mom says with distraught. Mia watches as her dad shakes Bryce's hand. Mia runs her tongue over her teeth. how could this fucking be happening?

Mia wanted nothing more than to stay and talk to Jessica and Clay. But she couldn't be there and look them in the eye after knowing what her brother did. She was related to Bryce the person that did all these terrible. After that she went home to get ready for Hannah's service.  Olivia asks Mia to speak at her service and Hannah. She didn't know how she felt about going there, knowing what her brother did to her.

A knock is heard on Mia's door. Mia keeps her eyes on the mirror as she calls out, "Come in."

Nora walks into her daughter's room and sees Mia in a long sleeve black dress.

Nora looks over her daughter's shoulder and Mia softly smiles. "Are you, ready to go?" She asks quietly. Mia inhales and nods her head. "I've got to go, Mom...but I'll be fine. I promise." She says nicely.

Nora hugs Mia and Mia inhales. She smiles and looks at her, Mia walks away and goes downstairs. She drives to the church and nervously looks around. She sits down as she listens to everyone talk.

As Clay walks up to the stand, he begins to speak. "Hannah Baker came into my life at the end of one summer, like a star that fell to Earth. Like nothing I had seen, like no one I had ever met. She was funny, and smart, and moody, and...and maddening, and beautiful. And...I loved her. I loved her so much. And I ask her everyday why she did what she did. But I get no answers. She took those with her when she went. Leaving me, all of us, angry, empty, confused." Clay says.

Mia looks to the side of her and sees Hannah sitting next to her. Clay looks back up at Clay and notices him staring at someone behind Mia. He was saying all these things, but to someone specific. He was seeing her too.

"I'll be left with only love. A good friend once said to me, "I can love you and still let you." So Hannah. I love you, I'm gonna miss you. And I hope that wherever you go next, you feel peace, you feel safe...in a way that you never did here. Wherever you go next, I hope you know that I love you." Clay finishes his speech and Mia wipes the tears from her eyes as he sits back down.

Mia stands up and walks up to the stand. She looks into the crowd and sees Hannah sitting down in the spot she left her. "H-Hannah...was someone that I looked up to. She would always be happy and smiling, because my life wasn't very...normal." Mia inhales. She nods her head slowly, "I loved her...I loved Hannah. I know that she'll never know how I loved her, but...Hannah wasn't like any other person. She wasn't any girl, she was someone who was always lighting up everyone's life with her smile." Mia smiles softly.

"She always made me laugh, and...made me feel...wanted...I love you Hannah. A-And...I'm sorry that you went through everything all by yourself. I'm sorry you felt alone, and I hope that wherever you go...you find your happiness and peace." Mia wipes her tears and walks down from the stand and sits back down.

She looks away and doesn't see Hannah anymore.

~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~     ~

Mia sits down while everyone was gone. She hears footsteps behind her and Mia looks as the person sits down next to her. Mia looks at the person, she looks at Clay and they both sit in silence. "H-How long have you been seeing her?" Mia asks quietly, as she breaks the silence.

Clay looks at her, "Ever since I got the first Polaroid." Clay nods his head. Mia looks down at her hands, "I-I would see her now and then, until actually seeing her...and she wouldn't go away." Mia explains.

Clay looks at her, "You never said anything." He states. Mia quietly scoffs, "You didn't either." She replies. Mia lightly touches Clay's hand and he looks at her. "I'm glad you came today." He said.

Mia shrugs her shoulders, "I don't know...you guys could've done this without me." Mia sighs.

"Mia, no--"

"Clay...you don't need me. None of you do." Mia stands up and straightens her dress out. "For Hannah...I'm going to skip the wake...I don't...I don't want to make things inappropriate." She says.

Clay looks up at her to open his mouth, "Mia, wait--"

"Clay, just...let me do this." Mia raises her brows and walks away. She feels tears come from behind her eyes and she wipes them. She covers her mouth to keep herself from crying loudly.

Mia gets in her car and drives away.

Justin sighs loudly as he lays down on his couch. "You gonna go to this dance?" Justin asks. Clay looks at him, "What, the spring Fling thing?" Clay raises his brows. "Why in the world would I go to that?"

"I don't know. It--it might be fun?" Justin looks at him.

"I don't go to dances. You can go." Clay offers.

"No. I just thought that it'd be my first thing back and I could show people that I'm not, like, hiding or whatever." Justin looks at Clay and clicks his tongue, "Forget it." He says.

Clay slightly shakes his head and rolls his eyes, "Fuck." He whispers. "Fine. We'll go." Clay says with annoyance. Justin smiles widely, "A-And hey...maybe you could, take someone..." Justin says looking at his fingers. Clay knits his brows together, "What, are you..." Clay trails off and thinks about the black haired girl.

Clay shakes his head, "N-No--"

"Come on, Clay. I know you two have something there and...she's all alone right now." Justin says. "What are you talking about? All alone?" Clay asks.

"Clay, she feels guilty about what her brother did. That's probably why she didn't go. But she is going to the dance, that's for sure." Justin says.

"How do you know she's--"

"I just texted her that I was going." He states. Clay rolls his eyes and scoffs. "Clay, she needs someone." Justin says strongly. "She needs you." He adds. Clay looks into Justin's eyes and sees the earnestness in them.

Clay gnaws on his bottom lip thinking, what would he do?

As Clay says goodbye to Mrs. Baker they start to talk. "I saw the store's for lease." Clay states.

"I'm moving to New York. It was always Hannah's dream. She never made it, so I'll get there for her." Olivia says with a small smile.

"I wasn't sure if I should share this with you. But after hearing what you said, I think...I think it's alright, and Mia isn't here either so..." Olivia says with a small shrug.

Clay slowly opens the paper, "I found it on one of the old computers when I was cleaning up the store. Hannah wrote it." Olivia says softly.

He looks down at the reasons why not paper and his jaw tightens.

"You're on there. Same as Mia. At least once, possibly twice. Did--Did she call you "Helmet"?" Olivia asks. Clay chuckles lightly, "Yeah, she did." He answers.

"Eleven reasons. She came up just short. But she left so many out you know that, don't you?" Olivia asks.

"No matter how many reasons there might be why, there's always more to why not." Olivia says softly.

"I do." Clay answers.

"I wish I knew you when she was alive." Olivia says.

"I wish you'd known me then, too." Clay replies.

Clay and Olivia says goodbye to each other as Clay can't get that list out of his head.

"I am not uptight. It was your idea that we should wear ties. It's not even a formal dance. And if you wanna wear a tie, you should follow my instructions." Clay says very quickly.

Justin looks at Clay through the mirror. "We really need to get you laid." He says.

Clay looks at him with annoyance, "Shut up. Start over." Clay walks away. "Seriously, Jensen. Okay? You help me tie a tie, I will help you get laid." Justin says with a smile.

"I don't need your help." Clay says as he puts his jacket on. "I--I know. I was just--I was just saying." Justin says.

Clay sits down, "I mean you've had like...a lot of sex, haven't you?"

"Yeah, I've...I've had a good amount." Justin says, he turns around and shows off his tie. Clay raises his arms.

"Okay, let's go to the dance--"

"Before we go...we have to stop somewhere first." Clay says.

Justin looks at him weirdly, "Really? Where? He asks. Clay inhales as he feels himself become nervous. "You'll know." He says as he walks out of the room. Justin blinks for a couple seconds and follows behind him to the car.

Mia walks down the stairs and looks at her mom. "You look stunning, sweetie." Nora says. Hana gives her a soft smile, "Thank you." She says as she hugs her mom.

Mia waves her mom goodbye as she opens the door and gasps. "Clay..." She whispers with wide eyes. Clay looks at her and smiles softly. "You look...so beautiful." He says taken aback. Mia feels heat rush to her cheeks and she chuckles.

"W-what are you doing here?" She asks. She turns to see her mom looking at them with a small smile, "Let's uh...lets talk out here." Mia says. She waves to her mom again and closes the door.

"So uh...What's going on?" Mia asks. Clay opens his mouth, "I was going to ask you...if you wanted to come with me to...the Spring Fling, well us..." Clay corrects himself.

"Us? What are you...?" Mia turns to his car and sees Justin. He gives her a small wave and Mia chuckles. "Us three, we would be going...but I wanted us to go...specifically as...something..." Clay says quietly.

Mia feels herself get excited but it dies quickly and she bites the inside of her cheek. "Clay...with everything that happened with...Bryce it's fucking crazy. And...you don't have to do all of this because you feel sorry for me. You should hate me." Mia says looking down at her shoes.

"Mia why would you--"

"My brother is a rapist, Clay. He lied about it in court and thinks he deserves to be out and about." Mia says quietly.

"Yeah, but you're not Bryce...you're Mia Walker--"

"Like that's any better--"

"Of course it's better, it's fucking amazing!" Clay says with a soft laugh. Mia looks up at him and smiles softly.

"After everything...I don't want anything to get out of my hands again. because I didn't say anything, Okay?" He looks at her too.

Mia twists the bracelet on her wrist and Clay notices the familiar charm bracelet. "I didn't think you got it." He says softly.

Mia looks down at the bracelet and smiles, "My mom told me you came to the hospital everyday. And...I could hear everything when I was in the coma...I could hear my parents cry for me, I could hear Tyler's camera clicking, and I could hear you...telling me to fight." Mia says looking back up at him.

"When we were in the parking lot that day, with Tyler and Cyrus...you said that you...you love me? Was that true?"

Clay feels heat rush to his cheeks, but he stays strong. "It's true, I love you and I still do." He says.

Before Mia could question why he loved her, answers it. "Mia, you have...you have always been there for me, in the worst times. Or the best times. You helped me, saved my life so many...so many times and I am so grateful for that...for you." He says.

Mia shakes her head, "I didn't help you when you needed it the most...when Hannah..." Mia looks down at her heels and inhales.

"No...you were hurting too, I wasn't there for you and I'm so sorry, that I pushed you. That's why I respect you because in your darkest times, even though you wanted to give up...you didn't and that made you want to fight for your life, I get that." Clay nods his head as he opens up his heart. Mia chuckles and looks into his eyes she hears her heart beat in her ears and through her body. She inhales and walks forward. She wraps her arms around his neck and smashes her lips onto his. Clay stands there for a minute, but soon relaxes and kisses her back. His hands touches her lower back.

Butterflies flutter in Mia's stomach and they both  separate and place their heads against each others. "I love you too." Mia says as she unwraps her arms from his neck and grips his shirt.

Clay sighs with relief and Mia chuckles, "So...do you want to go to the dance with me?" he asks with a laugh. Mia laughs and nods her head, "I would love to go to the dance with you, Clay Jensen." She replies with a smile.

Clay smiles and holds her hand as he walks to the car. Justin gets out with a smile and opens the door for her, Mia smiles and nods her head. Justin sits in the back seat and Clay gets into the drivers seat.

"It's about fucking time--"

"Shut up!" Clay scoffs. Mia laughs as Clay drives to the school.

Mia walks in with Clay, Justin, and Tony. They all stop as they see Caleb standing in front of them.

"Good evening." He says. Mia smiles.

"Good evening? Did you--did you do this?" Tony turns to Clay.

"I got him a guest pass. Because apparently you forgot to." Clay replies. Mia looks up at him and grabs his hand. He lightly squeezes her hand, they all turn as they see Jessica and Alex walk in. "Hey." Justin says.

"You guys look good." He says.

"Thanks, I bedazzled the cane." Alex says as they all stand there confused. "I didn't really." Alex says

"Well, if we have to this, let's do it." Clay says.

Mia and Clay sit next to each other with Cyrus and his friends. "Sorry...this is...you know awkward..." He says. Mia looks at him, "Clay, stop...we just need to get use to this..." Mia says as she grabs his hand.

Suddenly all of Cyrus's group gets up. Cyrus looks at he two, "Jensen and Walker, come on. are you guys about kicking ass or are you  both not?"

Mia opens her mouth and looks at Clay, "Are we?" Mia asks.

Clay looks at her and stares into her ocean eyes, "We are." He answers.

"We totally are." He says as they both stand up and follow Cyrus. Mia and Cyrus stop and look at Justin and Zach. "Hey, come on!" Mia yells with a smile.

Zach and Justin slightly shake their heads. Mia inhales, "If Jeff Atkins were here, he'd say "Get your asses up and come on."!" Mia says with a smile on her face.

They don't budge and Clay grabs a pillow and throws it at them, "Guys, come on!" Clay yells with a big smile on his face. Justin and Zach look at each other with smiles. They both knew that Clay and Mia were letting go of their pasts. They were happy for the first time in a very long time.

They both stand up and follow Mia and Clay into the crowd. They all jump up and down and laugh. As the music dies down, Mia moves closer to Clay. "I'm going to get something to drink." She says loudly.

Clay nods his head, "Do you want me to come with you?" He asks, Mia shakes her head, "No, I'll be fine." She says as she walks away. She grabs a bottle of water and stands beside Justin.

"I heard you got six months, I'm sorry." Mia says. Justin chuckles, "It's not like I didn't see it coming." Justin shrugs as he drinks his water.

"You guys want a real drink?" Bryce asks. Mia rolls her eyes and drinks her water. "Shit, Mia...I'm sorry--"

"We're good." Justin cuts him off.

"Brings back memories, huh?" Bryce asks. Justin ignores him.

"I heard you were transferring." Justin states.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna start over." Bryce says.

Mia scoffs, "Lucky you." Mia says loudly.

"I'm gonna miss this. All of it." He says as he takes another swig from his flask.

"You remember freshmen year?" Bryce asks the two teenagers. "The night before our first day, you stayed over. All three of us stayed up talking about how we were gonna be kings of this fucking school. And Mia was going to be the queen." Bryce says with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I remember." Justin answers. "I'll always remember." Justin adds. Bryce pauses for a second, "Me, too, brother." Bryce says. Mia looks down at her water.

"Justin, Mia." Clay calls out. Mia looks from her water to him and smiles. Clay looks at Bryce then Justin and Mia. "You guys okay?" He asks.

Mia was about to answer, but Bryce does instead. "They're fine. I can't touch him. Or you, Or I go to jail." Bryce says.

"Funny. I don't have that problem." Clay says threatening. Bryce chuckles, "You're a good kid, Clay. You need to get laid, but you're a good kid." Bryce says as he walks away.

Clay stands by Justin and they look at each other, "You all right?" He asks.

"yeah. I just...I'm gonna go use the bathroom for a quick minute, okay? I'll--I'll be right back." Justin walks away sadly.

Clay looks over at Mia and stands next to her, "Are you, alright?" He asks. Mia looks up from her bottle again and gives him a small smile. "I'm trying..." Mia says smile.

"I'm going to sit down, for a second." Mia says.

"I'll come with you--"

"Jensen!" Cyrus yells. He waves him over and Mia clicks her tongue, "Guess, you're gonna have to socialize." Mia says with sarcasm. Clay laughs and nods his head.

"Okay, I'll check up on you." He says as he walks away. Mia smiles as she watches him take pictures with Cyrus.

She sits down on the couch for a few moments. She hears a familiar song come on and Mia looks up, she feels everything come back to her about Jeff and Hannah. As Mia thinks about Hannah her eyes widen, "Clay." She whispers.

She gets up and walks into the crowd of people. She finds the middle of the gym and sees Clay. Mia walks up to him and touches his arm. He looks into her teary eyes with his glassy ones.

"Mia--"

She wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him tightly. He quietly cries in her shoulder and she does too. "It's okay..." Mia says quietly. Tony walks over to the two hurt kids and touches their shoulders. They look at him and hugs the too. Jessica, Alex, Zach, Ryan, and Courtney gather around them and hug them tightly.

Mia feels comfort as warmth surrounds her. These people were such good people, they just all made bad mistakes at one point in their lives. And they all regretted them...at least most of them did.

After being comforted by everyone, Mia and Clay sit down and they both stay silent. "I'm sorry about what happened on the dance floor. I thought that I could do this but..." Clay stops talking and inhales as he feels Mia touch his hand. "Clay, it's okay...I understand, maybe...now wasn't the right time to--"

"Clay, Mia! Come here." Cyrus yells. Mia and Clay exchange looks and walk over to Cyrus. He fills them in on the text. "We have to stop him." Clay says.

"No, we need to get the fuck out of here. We need to call the cops." Zach says.

"Agreed." Cyrus adds.

"If we do, his life is over." Clay defends.

"His life is over either way. He's either going to jail or he's dead." Zach says.

"Tyler doesn't wanna die. I know he doesn't" Mia says as she shakes her head.

"Where's Tony?" Clay asks.

"What's going on, guys?" Justin asks.

"Have you seen Jess?" Alex asks him. Justin shakes his head.

Mia feels her adrenaline kick in, "Justin, Find Jessica. Get everyone you can. Lock the doors, stay inside. And don't call the police." Mia orders as she hands him her phone.

Mia turns to Clay, "Find Tony." She says. He nods his head as she leaves the school. Justin calls out to both the teens but they ignore him. She runs out of the school with Clay behind her.

"What are you doing?" Mia asks him. "Following you." Clay answers.

Mia stops, "No, Clay...you can't...I don't want you to get hurt--"

"What and you think I want you to get hurt?" Clay asks. Mia licks her lips, "Clay--"

He cups her cheeks, "I'm not going anywhere...I'm not leaving you." He says strongly. Mia touches his hands and nods her head. "Okay." She says. They both run outside and see Tyler at his car.

"Tyler!" Mia calls out. They both step down the stairs and walk over to him. "Tyler, wh-what are you doing?" Mia asks.

Tyler steps out from behind his car and reveals him holding a gun. Mia stops dead in her tracks and her voice gets caught in her throat. For a few seconds she couldn't breathe.

"Get out of here, you guys. Go home." Tyler says as he walks towards them.

Clay shakes his head, "No. No, I don't--don't do this, Tyler." Clay pleads. Tyler looks at Mia and Clay as he closer to them. "You need to leave right now." Tyler steps over to walk past them and Mia walks in front of them. "Tyler, please, listen to me. You don't wanna do this." Clay stammers nervously. "I know you don't." Clay says.

Tyler looks at him with a stone cold face. "You don't fucking know anything about me." Tyler steps aside again and Mia steps in front of him. "I do, I know you, Tyler...And I-I-I know you don't want to do this. I know because I hurt too, and so does Clay." Mia says as she feels herself working off of her adrenaline. But she felt like she could crumble at any second.

"We're pissed off. I didn't realize how bad it was for you." Mia says with shaky breath. Tears brim her eyes as Tyler looks down at the ground with impatience. "I'm sorry that I didn't. I'm sorry...I haven't...these past few weeks I wasn't there for you and I--"

"Clay! Mia!" Justin yells. Mia and Clay turn around, "No! Go back inside!"

"Jesus, Mia!" Justin yells. Tyler aims his gun at Justin and Jessica. "Go Inside!" Mia yells at him. Clay steps in front of the gun.

"Get out of my fucking way." Tyler orders. Clay shakes his head, "Tyler, please. Don't do it." He shakes his head. Mia hears her heart beat in her ears.

Tyler looks into her eyes and she feels her stomach turn, "I have to." He says with desperation hinting his voice.

"No, you don't have to. You can go home." He says shaking his head with a small smile on his face. Police sirens are heard throughout the street and Tyler turns around "Everybody knows already." Tyler turns back around.

"No. The only people that know are people who know you, and--and they wanna help you." Clay states.

Tyler walks past Clay, "Bullshit." He says. Mia inhales and stands in front of the gun. Tyler aims it at Mia and she tenses up, "Tyler, they know you're hurting, we all are." She says softly.

"Get out of my way." Tyler says coldly as he presses the cold gun against her skin. "No, I'm not going to move and you want to know why? Because I care about you, Tyler and I don't want you to throw your life away--"

"Why not, you did." He cuts her off. Mia nods her head, "You're right, I did and now...I have a second chance and Tyler you get to have one too." Mia says with a soft smile.

Tyler shakes his head and Mia knows that isn't going to work. She nods her head slowly, "Okay...you know what? We tried the hopeful, looking down the end of the tunnel thing, but if you want the truth...fine." Mia says as her jaw tightens.

She steps more into the gun and shivers, "Shoot me." Mia orders.  "I mean, I already overdosed maybe this'll get the job done, right?" Mia shrugs her shoulders.

"Jeff Atkins Car crash. Hannah Baker Suicide. Tyler Down...wh-what? Arrested? Shot down? Tyler, I don't want the people I love to be taken out of this world too soon on accident or on purpose, alright?" Mia says as her whole body begins to shake, but she stays strong.

"Just...don't...it was supposed to be you and me, okay? We were supposed to change everything. You and me, our photo shoot. It was you and me at first, remember? So...why can't it be like that again? It can be like that again, right Ty?" Mia says as she slowly lifts her shaky hand.

Tyler looks behind him as he stops pushing Mia back. "Listen, to me--"

He trains the gun at her head and Mia tenses up again. "Give me the gun and we can...try to make it be like that again, I don't want you to die. I can't have you leave me...not you too." Mia says in a fragile voice. Tyler burns his brown eyes into her ocean blue ones. Silence develops between the two and Clay doesn't take his eyes off of Mia once.

"Tyler--"

"What else can I do? There's nothing else I can do" Tyler says. Mia nods her head, "There is."

"A-And we'll figure out, together...I swear." Mia reaches up and touches Tyler's hand softly, pushing the gun down. A car speeds over to them and screeches to a stop. Tyler quickly turns, "No, that's Tony. It's just Tony."

Tony opens the passenger door, "Get in the car!" He yells.

As Tyler walks over to the car Mia quickly and carefully pulls the gun off of him. "Come on, it's okay..." Mia reassures him.

Clay walks over to them. Tyler looks back at the school and Clay cautiously puts Tyler in the car. "Come on. Get in the car." He says. Tyler gets in the car and stares at Mia and Clay as they drive off.

Jessica and Justin yell their names but Mia couldn't hear anything. Mia looks down at the gun in her hand and felt her legs almost give out. Clay helped her stand. Jessica grabs her softly and Clay grabs the gun from her hand. "It's okay, I've got you...okay?" He whispers.

Mia looks off into Space as Jessica speaks to the two students. "Are you guys, okay?"

"No." Clay asks. He looks at Mia and knew she was too shaken to talk.

"This is fucked up, right?" Justin asks.

Mia shakily opens her mouth, "Y-Y-Yes..." She says with all her energy. The police sirens fill her ears as she can't get that spine chilling exchange out of her mind.

"What do we do now?" Justin asks.

Mia looks down at the gun in Clay's hand and back at the hand she had it in. What do they do now?
