"Should we try though?" Oikawa asked. It was 4 AM and the trio was having a rather heated discussion.

"I don't think we should dwell in too deep into that matter, we can get hurt or worse.....expelled" Bokuto said in the most serious tone ever.

"Goddamnit Bokuto, this isn't the time for Harry Potter jokes" Daichi sighed loudly and glared at the boy with the weird haircut.

"Yeah I agree, let's not end up like Newt, but then again I would kill to be like him, wait what were we talking about again?" Oikawa got lost in his own thoughts.

"Don't bring Newt into this. We were talking about what we should do with fucking mythical creatures that turned out to be real? Like, do we report it to the chief or?" Daichi sighed again, he was still confused over this whole thing.

"I don't think so.. We would probably be fired for talking nonsense. Also... I just... I want to keep this secret and take it to my grave.. For some reason, I want to protect them.. If chief was to come here they would hunt them down..." Oikawa said. He wasn't sure why, but he wanted all this to remain a secret. He did want to tell the whole world before, but now..

"Wow, you're saying something decent for once. But yeah, I agree. I don't think we should tell anyone" Bokuto nodded his head, agreeing with Oikawa's words.

"It's been decided then. We're keeping this to ourselves. The remaining question is: should we look more into them or leave them alone?" Daichi asked and let those two think for a minute or two.

The three were sitting outside. The sky was still dark, even though the sun was supposed to be rising soon. The water was calm, maybe even too calm.

Dark clouds could be seen in the horizon, it was gonna be a rainy day. The trio hadn't moved since 9 PM, they were discussing what they should do about the sudden appearance of those creatures.

A sudden splash of water made them turn to the nearby stones. Half of them were in the water, it was also where Oikawa saw Iwaizumi.

"What was that?" Bokuto asked, his heart was beating like crazy and fear had kicked in.

It was still dark, but they could still see something big moving around those stones.

"I'll go" Oikawa said and finally stood up.

"Be careful" Daichi said, but it wasn't like him to say that. If not the fear that had hit him, he would have went with Oikawa.

Why fear? Because they were still scared of them, especially after Oikawa told them that they would drown people, that they can hallucinate like sirens..

Oikawa started walking towards the moving object, his heart was beating faster than ever.

"I couldn't resist" a voice spoke startling Oikawa and making him freeze in his place. "Even after I said that I wouldn't come again, I couldn't stop myself. I had to feast my eyes upon your beauty"

A familiar silhouette appeared in front of him.

"You..." Oikawa managed to say, but his voice was cut off when he felt a cold and wet hand on his cheek.

"I'm still having trouble understanding how such beauty can exist on land. For the first time in my existance I dreamt of a human being. Your out-of-the-world beauty made me crazy, so crazy that I want to drag you down to the depths and keep you all to myself, but I can't.. It's against my nature to hurt such a precious thing... " even in the dim moon light, his eyes were still shining.. Dark green...

"Don't hurt me.." Oikawa said in the most vulnerable voice ever, it cracked in a middle of the sentence. He felt his hand shake a bit after his words.

"I won't" he said "I just overheard  you  talking about us, I heard you say that you want to protect us.. You have my respect.."

"... I wouldn't be able to bring myself to tell anyone else about you..." Oikawa's voice was weak as he was still in shock.

"Iwaizumi.. Iwaizumi Hajime is my name... Here.." Iwaizumi took Oikawa's hand and put something in it "it's against the rules, but if you want to see me again just drop this into the water"

With these words he slid off the stone and dove into the water. Oikawa was left standing there for a bit more, until he gathered himself and went to the other two. He was bombarded with questions, but Oikawa didn't quite hear them.

The sun started rising and the first rays of sunshine reached the three boys.

Oikawa slowly opened his hand.

It was a navy blue seashell.
