"Okay, let's tell eachother a secret" Oikawa said as he practically flew onto the sofa. Bokuto was near him while Daichi was looking out the window.

"Bokuto, I'll start. I hate you. Now, what do you have to tell?" Oikawa said. He started laughing as a weird expression crept onto Bokuto's face.

"What do you mean you hate me? We're bros" Bokuto whined and hit Oikawa's arm.

"Just kidding, just kidding... Daichi, you're awfully quiet" Oikawa pointed out. Daichi turned to him and sighed.

"Just a lot on my mind. You know, we've been here for two months already. While we made somr amazing discoveries on brand new species, we also discovered creatures we never thought would exist.." Daichi sighed again looked outside, it was dark as the sun had already set. The clouds had passed through, exposing millions of stars.

"Yeah.. It's unbelievable. I actually want to go to Atlantis again. Other mermen and mermaids greeted us quite nicely" Oikawa said as his mind wandered off to Iwaizumi again.

"Guys, that's not the issue here" Daichi suddenly said.

"What issue?" Bokuto asked confused.

"In two months we will leave this place, due to our discoveries the main explore team might come here, if they see the mermen - we'll be done for" Daichi explained.

"Damnit... You're right.. We'll have to warn them.." Oikawa frowned slightly.

"I'll go and get some fresh air, don't turn this place upside down" Daichi said as he stood up and headed towards the door.

The temperature outside was just right and Daichi didn't feel like he needed a sweater or anything. He stared at the horizon, the calm water reflected the stars, making it look magical.

The moon was full and provided enough light for Daichi to find his calm spot, that is the flat rocks. Daichi decided to sit down and relax, listening to small waves hitting the sand was more than enough to clear his head.

"This is our third time meeting on the rocks" a voice startled Daichi and he turned his head to the right.

The moonlight illuminated Suga's face and a small smile on his lips.

"Ah, don't startle me like that..." Daichi chuckled and watched as Suga quickly pulled himself up on one of the rocks.

"I was just swimming around and saw you.. I thought you might enjoy some company" Suga smiled.

"Yeah.. I'm just a bit stressed so I came here to relax" Daichi sighed, his eyes fell onto Suga's injured arm. "What happened to your arm?"

"Oh, I had a dangerous trip quite recently. We usually don't swim that much away from our city, but I decided to swim in more dangerous areas. It just so happened that I accidentally got caught into fish net, I had to cut my way out of it.. I'm sure the fishermen were surprised when they saw that massive hole in their net" Suga laughed. "It's not a big deal, the trip was worth it"

"Ah, be careful next time! Now I'm gonna worry all the time" Daichi frowned.

"Please don't be. Everybody worries for me already, since I'm so frail" Suga pouted.

"What do you mean?" Daichi turned to Suga, the moonlight made his skin ever whiter than it already was.

"Ah, my body isn't the strongest, so whenever I get sick - my body takes it really heavily. Everybody worries for me. The reason why I'm like this is because when I was little my parents never let me swim anywhere, unlike other mermen and mermaids who got to feel the joy of exploring the world, I was always at home. My immune system never got stronger" Suga sighed.

"Oh, poor you! Did you know how I learned to swim? I was walking and jumping on this wooden bridge one day. My mom, who can't swim, was busier talking to her friend and didn't notice when I slipped and fell into the water. I remembered my father telling me what to do, so I started flapping around until I managed to inhale a proper amount of air" Daichi chuckled, he never told anybody this.

"Humans have it rough. I'm sure that if my tail became legs, it would take me weeks to walk properly" Suga laughed.

"Maybe, maybe not. Walking isn't that hard really" Daichi said and soon the air filled with comfortable silence. It wasn't till around 5 minutes later that Suga spoke again.

"Hey, I have something for you" He said and Daichi turned to him.

"What is it?" he asked and Suga took one of his necklaces off.

"My dangerous trip... I went there to find your father.. And I did. Well, not the whole, but I knew it was him from this necklace, it has your name on it.. I thought you might want this. As for his remains, the mermen buried him as one of us" Suga handed Daichi a necklace and smiled at him. Before he knew it Daichi pulled him into a hug.

"Thank you so much.."
