"remus, come on!" james potter shouted from the bottom of the stairs. when he didn't get a response, he stamped up to the room, bursting through the door, which he regretted immediately. for one, the first thing james saw was not remus, but sirius and ivory making out on his bed, and secondly, he heard someone vomiting in the bathroom.

"ah dammit remus aim for the toilet next time. what in the name of godric happened to you?" james groaned, gagging at the sight.

"that would be the full moon," sirius answered, having ended his snogging session and was currently putting on his shirt.

"but it doesn't typically get this bad. remus are you ill?"

"i believe so," the frail boy coughed.

"alright come on let's get you to madam pompfey," james said hoisting remus up and supporting one side while sirius got the other.

as they helped their friend walk down the stairs, they noticed andrew mclaggan carrying the girl from the library. thankfully remus didn't notice her immediately, but she noticed them. not that they cared. she was just another girl. 

"hey remus," she smiled, bringing her head up from mclaggan's back. remus didn't hear her and even if he did, he was obviously too sick to reply. james gave her a look and she turned away quickly putting her head back down

"mate, you don't have to give her looks like that. she didn't do anything," sirius stated, looking at his best friend.

" james who'd you glare a—" remus started.

"i didn't glare at anyone, dammit, padfoot," he huffed.

"you totally did."

"and you totally sound like ivory."

"ah, you say that like it's a bad t— bloody hell remus, a little warning next time!" sirius squealed, as remus retched on his feet. sirius shivered and looked a little pale himself.

"oh quit being a wuss. go to the bathroom and clean yourself up, yeh? meet us there." and without having to hear it twice, sirius bolted.

"what an ass."

"WHY YES I DO HAVE QUITE A FINE ASS, JAMES. THANK YOU!" sirius shouted rom the other end of the corridor.

"if that bastard doesn't shut his trap about his ass i'm going to kindly ask satan himself to kill me,"remus muttered, walking through into madam pompfrey's office.

"oh, yes, right over here, dear," she said, rushing over to an empty bed, and then rushing off to get medicine once he was settled.

"james how did you know that girl in the library the other day?"

"hm? oh i didn't."

"like hell you didn't. how did you know her?"

"remus i told you. i didn't know her."

"stop lying i k—!"

"aye what are we talking about?"

"where did james know that girl from the library from?"

"oh she's always out watching the team practice. why?"

"because he called her a bloody freak."

"bloody hell calm your tits, it's not like anyone at all knows her."

"ivory knows her," sirius shrugged. remus quickly sat up wide-eyed. "what? what is it, remus?"

"i need you to fetch me ivory."

"remus, you better have a bloody great answer for allowing sirius black to wake me up at two o'clock in the bloody morning," ivory hue growled, stamping into the ward. james and sirius quietly stepped out to give the two some privacy. "well?"

"you know arden."

"campbell?"

"yes. how do you know arden?"

"she's best friends with the boy that i live with? why does it matter?"

"because why didn't you tell me that you knew bloody arden campbell?!"

"because i didn't know she was of interest," ivory scoffed. "you four boys expect so much from me. i don't know everything that i need to tell you lot. why the hell are you asking me about arden?"

"no reason," remus mumbled. "james pushed me into her the other day and she's honestly gorgeous. she seemed a little freaked out, but she was so beautiful."

"and this is a reason for you to wake me up at two in the morning?"

"i guess not. my apologies."

"damn right your apologies," ivory rolled her eyes.

"oh hop off my dick, hue."

"YEAH IVORY HOP OFF!"

"siRIUS! IM GOING TO BLOODY CHOKE YOU!" ivory yelled, speed walking out of the ward to pull sirius's hair.

"OW! BLOODY HE—"

"STOP SCREAMING!" james intervened. "and remus get your arse to sleep. merlin."
