I froze in my seat with his words.

Taehyung's long eyelashes flutter opened, flickering at outside. It was too dark to see anything. Only the flashes of lighting helped us to scan the area and catch a glimpse of the shadows that were lurking around the vehicle. Those shadows kept moving from behind to front, left to right. Taehyung tilted his head towards me, whispering to my ears,

"Y/n, we have to get down and reach the others, it'll be safe there than here," he said, not looking away from the shadows that shaped like humans. There are men out there who are dangerous than monsters. I gulped down nervously, clutching my pants with the sweaty palms.

"Listen carefully Y/n,on my count we both separate.Go straight inside the woods. Don't turn back,don't wait for me.Just go forward till you see the mansion.Jungkook will be there waiting for you"he instructed me while loading his gun. I stared at him with widened eyes. Will I be able to do it?Plus how can I leave Taehyung here?

I glanced at him with utmost timorous inside me, "Tae, How can I do this. I can't leave you here," He placed his big hand on my shoulder, knitting his eyebrows together with concerned gaze,

"Do as I say. I'll be ok" he slowly nodded while talking trying to make me less worried. He pressed his finger against the earpiece and talked through it in his deep low voice.

"Jin hyung, I'm sending Y/n there,  something came up," he removed the earpiece and threw it on the seat before the other end could reply him. Taehyung hovered over the driving seat and unlocked the door. He looked at me.

"Come on let's go, remember what I said, don't turn back, run without turning," I had no choice but to acquiesce him. There was no use of going against his words. At least Taehyung knows what he's doing, I let out a sigh and nodded.

"Here, keep this with you. Don't hesitate to use it if you have to" he handed me the metal weapon. He gave me a toothy grin before getting down. Filling my lungs with the tensed air, I hop out to the muddy ground behind him.

It's freaking dark in the outside,

The van was parked near the edge of the forest. I hovered the hoodie of the shirt over my head to get covered from the drizzling raindrops. Taehyung scrutinized the area. I could hear the thump of the muddy footsteps from the other side of the van, opposite to us. The only thing between them and us was the vehicle. Me and Taehyung was covered because of it. I flinched as a loud voice aroused, kicking the van, making it bounce a little,

"I told you to fucking secure the area! Why the fuck you assholes can't do at least one thing properly? Who the fuck is inside this?"

I covered my mouth with both my hands, not letting out my loud gasp as I recognised the awfully familiar voice and the usual sentences full of cursing.

Ki Hyuk?

I was startling from inside with apprehension. This was the last person I wanted to get caught by. He's worse than his father. Nothing good is going to happen if he sees me, I'm two hundred percent sure that he's going to shoot me if he gets a glimpse of me, I bit my lip with nervousness that was jittering me.

"Don't you just fucking stand there like dummies!Search the bloody thing!" With his loud roar, I heard the footsteps moving in a hurry.

I couldn't see them properly because of the dark but I could hear them well. I clasped Taehyung's arm as he slowly walked backwards while keeping an eye on the front, trying to  reach the tall shed of trees behind us. As I move, I suddenly espied the man who was standing right near us, as the lighting struck, drawing a silver line in the clouds. That split second was enough for me to see who he was.

It's him, it's him...

With the flash of the second thunder, the devilish eyes of Hyuk landed on me. His gaped at me as he spotted me.  The sirens of danger started ringing on my head.

"You!"he pointed his finger towards me. I stepped back with fear.

"Shit!" Taehyung cursed as he perceived  that the enemy has seen our presence. He jerked me towards the shed, pushing me to the dark,

"Y/n, run!go to him," he whispered, stepping forward with his gun pointed.

I was still standing there like my legs had forgotten how to run.

"Y/n! What are you waiting for? Run!" He yelled as he saw that I'm not moving. With his words, I came back to my sense. I tried to make my legs get going.

"Catch that little insect!"Hyuk commanded the three men around him, pulling out his weapon from his pocket as well. My throat went dry because of fear. I started running as I saw a man stepping in my direction.

"You have to deal with me first!" Taehyung's raspy voice thundered. It took only milli seconds for them to start shooting at each other. I felt the bullets flying near my ears.

Run Y/n, Don't look back

Even kept telling that to myself, I couldn't stop looking back. The scene wasn't very clear because of the showering rain and the shadows of the trees, but I knew they were right behind me. I could hear the men's footsteps pounding towards me, trying to catch me. They were getting closer to me. Too close,

Taehyung noticed the men behind me. He quickly pulled his blade from his pocket while still handling the gun from the right hand. He hurled the blade in mid-air, making it tangle on one of the men's neck. With the stab, the man collapsed on the ground, lifelessly. I was shocked, but still, I somehow managed to keep running. Without wasting any time to look at the horrible sight, I ran as fast as I could. The rumbling sky started shedding tears again. The rain stared again.

The floor was getting slippery and muddy. I stumbled through the woods, making sloppy sounds as my boots pressed against the muddy ground. It was hard to run avoiding the trees and throne bushes. The branches spanked me as slid my body through the gaps, trying to run fast.  Tripping every minute, I still kept running at high speed for the sake of my dear life.

I stopped for a second.

I leaned my arms to a tree trunk as a support, trying to catch my breath. I puffed, gulping hard to wet my throat. I wiped off the water drops that was splattered all over my face and concentrated on the surrounding. Through the gust, I couldn't hear any rumbling footsteps. Maybe I missed them?

I listened carefully. The only thing I could hear is the rain and the turbulent wind that kept howling. I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw the glowing light of the mansion in front of me that was lit up with orange and yellow lamps.

I made it!

I smiled through the panting, but it existed only for one second since  I saw two men appearing from the shades  Gritting my teeth, I stayed back in a safe distance away from them. My hand slid to the gun in my pocket. I glared at both of them before pulling out it and pointing towards them. I aimlessly shot a bullet to distract the men before getting covered to the wide radius of the tree. They started shooting, trying to target me. My heart was pounding loudly against it's cage. I flinched as I perceived someone's touch. Before I could react, a hand covered my mouth, not letting me scream.

"Y/n," thank god, it's him,

I looked at Jungkook's figure, moving his hand away from me. Finally, I'm in safe hands. I sighed in great relief. I swear that even with a whole army of soldiers around me, I won't feel this protective.

He hovered over me and fired bullets towards the two men. The bangs echoed louder, not seconding to the loud roars of the thunders. He aimed and inserted a bullet right in to a man's skull, grilling it inside. I kept my hand gripped in my gun in case of anything happens.

Without even looking at his dead partner, the remaining man kept firing like a crazy dog bitting people. But he was like a flake of dust against a cloud of them in front of Jungkook. I haven't seen his fighting skills this well before. It took him only two seconds to make the man hug the ground, Lifelessly,

With sweat and rain water mixed together,Jungkook's hair was sticking to his forehead. He glanced at me, panting heavily,

"Are you all right?" He asked me while turning my face with both his palms, checking whether I was injured.

"I'm ok, but Taehyung is still out there," I said, gesturing towards the direction Taehyung was.

"Hyung will come back, he knows what he's doing," he turned, glancing that way. I couldn't help but notice the somewhat nervousness on Jungkook's face. He looked at me and took my hand,

"Come on let's go," he said giving the final glance to where Taehyung was before heaving a sigh.

Gosh, Updating after a week. I wanted to Update so badly but I couldn't 😐Sorry about that guys. I really wanted to but I barely had time. I miss you guys🥺
