BOUNCE! BOUNCE!

Lia giggled. She bounced on the bed, letting out a heartful laughter in the room. Dragon returned from the shower room to see his adoptive daughter still wide awake.

"Why are you still awake? I thought that warm milk would put you right to sleep." He murmured. 

Lia stopped bouncing as she was panting heavily. She reaches out her arms. Dragon takes her in his arms, and she hugs him with a bright smile. 

"You need to get some sleep." He sat on his bed to lay her down next to him.

Lia wasn't in the mood to rest. She was too energized. 

"Sweetie, lay down. You can play tomorrow, but it's time to sleep now." Said Dragon. 

She wasn't listening to his words but crawled off the bed. 

"Lia..." 

"Hwngy!" She pointed at the door as Dragon looked at her. 

"You just had three bottles. Four?" He asked. 

Lia clapped her hands as Dragon prepared another milk bottle for her. When he returned, Lia took it as she leaned back, sucking down the milk with her little legs. 

'She might have a big appetite like a spider  could do to hunt for food.' He thought. 

"Alright, I can read while you sit back and enjoy yourself." Dragon lays down underneath the covers as he reaches over by his nightstand to grab a book to read. 

A few minutes later, Lia finished her bottom as she sat it by her side of the nightstand. She looked back to see Dragon was reading and stood on her two legs to peer over. Dragon looked in the corner of his eye to see the baby spider staring at the book. 

"What? Finding it interesting?" He asked. 

Lia looks at him but back at the book. 

"You don't know what it says since this book is for my age." Said Dragon. 

"Age," Lia commented. 

"Mhm." Dragon looks at the time as he shuts his book. "Alright, let's get to sleep. I've got a lot to do tomorrow." He says as he lays down on the mattress, but Lia shakes her head. 

"No sleep!" She replied. 

"Why not?" Dragon asked. 

Lia pointed to Dragon's closet, and he didn't understand at first. Then, he realized you must be afraid of something coming out of it.

"Your afraid of what's inside the closet?" He asked. 

Lia gripped his arm with her tiny arms for life and nodded. 

"Well, there isn't anything in there, Lia. I can assure you that no one is in the room only but you and me." He rubbed her head as she puffed out her cute cheeks. 

Dragon forced her to lie on her back and grabbed her blankie to wrap over her. Lia looked nervous a little bit. She does remain lying on her back and stares up at the male. 

"Go to sleep," He said exhaustingly. 

Lia lies there watching the revolutionist pass out into dreamland. She sat up and crawled over to him while he slept to lay on his chest. Her head rested on his chest as she snuggled close to him. Dragon was a little awake to feel her in his arms. Slowly he wrapped his arms around her and slept peacefully the whole night.
