JUNGKOOK POV

My head is spinning by the force I landed on the ground, smoke is surrounded the area, I cough harshly , and felt the blood dripping from my back, my eyes are barely open but nothing can stop me from reaching jin hyung.

I supported myself from wall and try to walk, stumble a little" hyung " my voice is fragile, eyes have water because of smoke, heart is praying for his well being, my biggest  fear is taking over me when he didn't respond to back.

And then I saw him, laying with whole body covered in blood and his uniform teared, my vision is blurred " hyung can you hear me?" I try to yell but it come out as whimper, with pounding heart I approached him.

I dropped on my knees looking at his peaceful face like he is sleeping in deep slumber and salty water start slipping through my eyes, I try to convince myself he is just asleep but his pulse saying otherwise, I just want all this to be a nightmare and when I wake up he beside me making fun of me.

I hugged his body closer to mine, support his head " you can't leave me hyung please say something " I kept on pleading him to talk to me but he refused to let out a single sound, his smile, his dad joke everything is replaying in front of my eyes.

Not in this life you can find a women like you described maybe in another life, he joked giving me a Salut.

Brat, he said when I kicked his butt and ran away.

Major Jeon or should I say baby Jeon ? He teased me when I purchased the cartoon of whole banana milk.

His insult, his teasing, his jokes, his every word are engraved in my heart, all I want to hear him saying my name.. kick my butt when I'm wrong.

" DON'T LEAVE ME LIKE HIM HYUNG" I screamed shaking him harshly trying to earn any kind of response but he didn't gave any, my twin my brother left me, dying in my arms exactly like him, I can't handle loss of one more.

I felt my body giving up, slowly consciousness slipping out of me, yelling of hoseok hyung can be heard in background but I closed my eyes letting darkness surrounding me.

I'm running, running with my full speed when I got the call of Hanjun getting kidnapped come just to reach him as soon as possible, my better half my partner in crime my best buddy, my twin.. we fight ever chance we got but I love him so freaking much.

" Jun " I Said when I saw him laying with closed eyes on cold floor, they killed him? I can't believe my eyes.. the kidnapper asked me to come, they wanted me so why they shot him, why him? And why not me?

I approached him with shaky legs he shouldn't be here on the first place but me, I should be dead not him" Jun get up, it's not funny anymore " I Said aware of his trick, I know he will get up and screamed " fucker I got you" while laughing but he didn't.

" please I'll call you hyung now get up" I Said holding him by his collar and tap his cheeks, he is 8 minutes older than me and he listen to my everything when I call him hyung but what happened with him now, why isn't he getting up.

Because i know the answer he have gone leaving me with guilt for replacing him with me, " I love you now please hyung listento me" I Said which I always wanted to say that I love him but my ego didn't let me and now it's too late.

Author pov

Jungkook got up while gasping for air and tears formed in his eyes, he just saw his brother dying again in his dream, he is on hospital bed and bandages wrapped around his arm.

" Hey easy there" it was y/n who was sitting at couch near the door walk upto him with steady steps and scan him " y/n where is jin hyung? " he asked thinking that it was all dream, y/n's expression remain unchanged and she sat on the stool near him.

" tell me where is he and what happened to me?" He asked, he can feel pain in his back as well as arms, y/n took a deep breath before answering him " he is no more and you were unconscious because of impact on your head" she said and his filled with tears again as much as he don't want to believe this he know it's truth.

He try to remove his IV pipe to get up and meet jin but y/n hold his hands, he look up at her face which is calm unlike his distress one " let me go, I wanna meet my hyung " he plead her with his eyes, he just want to capture jin's face in his eyes.

Y/n get up and wrap her hands around his head making him bury his face in her chest, she hugged him tightly for the first time she initiated something, he started sobbing holding her more close to him " y/n what will I say to Nabi when she ask where is her dada?" He said between his hiccups, thinking about Nabi.

She can just pat her head in response because she don't have any answer to his question " what about Noona? " He said remembering the face of jang-mi his Noona who love jin so much, she will be in so much pain when she get to know.

" We can't do anything Jungkook, he had signed his death certificate when he enter military " she said feeling heavy inside her heart pain of loosing the one you love the most is still fresh in her heart but she can manipulate herself .

" I'm not a good brother, I'm sorry hyung " jungkook said, holding y/n's dress in his fist, he is disappointed, angry, restless but above all he is in agony because of lost of his best hyung.

Y/n stood there holding him close to her, her heart is beating very fast and she know she did something which she shouldn't, she start having feelings for him and it's a crime a very big one. He'll hate her when he know who she is and why she is here.

Few days later

All the soldiers are in their dress code standing in front of coffin of the captain Kim seokjin, the funeral is arrange near the camp, everyone eyes are moist listening the cries of jang-mi and seeing innocent face of Nabi who is trying to understand what is happening.

Jungkook standing there controlling his emotions hardly, on his side is y/n who don't have any particular expression on her face but no one what is going inside her heart, Sunjun is crying not even caring of any reputation, they don't know jin from much time when they all had a connection.

Jackson swallow hard remembering the threat which jin gave everytime they do something wrong " you have to run whole night " and the day they get caught while returning back from forest he really made them run whole night.

Hanuel, Aera and Jae are with jang-mi who is not stopping herself from crying and asking jin to come back, hoseok and yoongi didn't let anyone see but they cried when gave the speech, their heart is bleeding at the lost of their friend.

Nabi approached Jungkook with her tiny feet but he didn't saw her coming he is lost in his thoughts, she tug his pant making his come out of imagination and look down at her

" hubbie what happened to dada?, why he isn't talking to me?" She said her innocent eyes blinking at jungkook who bite his lips to stop his sob but his tears betrayed him, he picked her up in his arms and hugged her small frame, kept his lips sealed.

" why everyone is crying, I don't like when mommy cry" the naive 4 year old unable to understand what is happening and why her dad is not coming back that he is dead that why he is not answering her.

" Nabi come here" y/n said smiling at the small kid trying to ease the frown on her innocent face, Nabi shook her head to afraid to go to y/n but Jungkook gave her in arms of y/n.

" your dad saved many people " she said and Nabi get excited " like superhero? " she asked to which y/n nodded, " he will with God now because God like good people and your dad is one of them" y/n try to make her understand in a simple way.

Nabi made o from her mouth like she understood what y/n is saying and nodded her head " then I'll wait for him to come back when god gave him holiday, he always bring doll for me when he come" she said happily smiling at y/n who smile sadly at her because she can she herself previous in Nabi.

And jin get buried with so much respect and all glory, he sacrifice his life not everyone can do that, only soldiers can, only they have guts to die for something they lived for, their country. The uniform they wear have power of making other shiver, the attitude they have is something every nasty peraon should afraid of when the look at their country from evil eyes,they are real superheroes who will not think twice before cutting you when you are enemy.

Author pov

So guys are you crying? I'm sorry for killing jin but it was part from starting.

So the one Jungkook was talking about all the time is his twin, Hanjun.

I'm good with writing emotions and that's what I'm proud of.

Write a thanking note for jin the one in this ff, like you are writing it for soldiers who sacrifice their life for us.
