The day is nice, the sun is glowing brightly even when it's just 9 in the morning afterall it's june, all the soldiers who have participated are excited to visit the south regiment and have some fun with healthy competitions.

" This shit need to fix " Sunjun said looking at Jackson's shirt which is exposing more than it should " I'm looking hot" Jackson point out as he didn't find any problem in that.

"Right, you are looking hot and that's the problem " Sunjun said not liking the display of extra skin " Okay I'll button up" Jackson said but not before shooting a smirk at sunjun.

They are wearing something which they want want not their uniform for once, they have their sports dress packed in the bag, it feel like picnic but they have pressure of winning equally on them.

"I feeling thirsty" hoseok said blocking the sun shinning above his head from his hands, his words are direct toward Aera who know he like to make her his personal maid, she just made a sour face.

" you , bring me water, cold one" and she was right he asked her to bring water even when bottle is in front of him but he wants cold water, she will put whole refrigerator in glass " yes sir" she said with extra polite voice, hoseok narrow his eyes at her smile which is fake but same time very funny.

When she walk away mumbling some curses, hoseok laughed at her reaction.. he was laughing without knowing jin is observing him " what?" He asked looking at jin mischievous smile, jin shrug but his smile didn't shrink.

"I'm on time" Jae said running toward them she is the late one, Haneul don't have good feelings about Jae, who went against the group only to lead the race.

" now let's go" y/n said throwing her arms around Jae and walk inside the bus, Jae smile but her smile shrink when y/n get pulled by Jungkook who made her sit at his side.

" sir-" y/n try to speak but he cut her off " seats are less and many other are coming so just sit here" he said holding her hands, she is having hard time controlling her anger, she don't like to be touched .

Jungkook notice her uncomfortable state and left her hands, Jae walk further inside the bus almost at last seat with a sour face, she sat with Haneul who didn't talked to her. Jackson and Sunjun are at behind them laughing at something.

Hoseok is making Aera write his reports while sitting with him, jin who is busy in his phone as network is working, while yoongi is glaring Jungkook from behind.

" What are you listening? " Jungkook asked tilting his head closer to her head to listen the music from her headphones, he is doing it on purpose and y/n is aware of it.

" you can take it" she removed headset and gave it Jungkook " it's okay, I don't want it.. I want you to pay attention to me" Jungkook mumble last line under his breath so that she can't hear him.. but he don't know she did.

Their shoulders are touching which is giving sparks to Jungkook who is blushing furiously, he can't stare her face directly but he can do while pretending he is looking outside but actual looking at her reflection in glass window.

She is wearing a track suite but still manage to look beautiful, he hairs are tied up in pony tail with her face have no makeup at all, he turned around at look at her face not caring if she find him creepy, he noticed the scar at her forehead along with some of cheeks, they are small but visible.

"Let's play something? " Jungkook asked because he want to know her " Okay sir" she said but when she saw his raised eyebrow she corrected herself " oaky Jungkook " she said but inside she don't want to know unknown by him or know him.

"Ask me anything, I'll do the same, when I say anything means anything" he said staring straight at her eyes, the most beautiful feature of her are her eyes " fine go ahead ask anything " she said nodding her head .

" your favorite color? " He asked and y/n want to laugh at his silly question but she don't want to kicked out of camp so she answered " Black and yours?" She asked without any interest " same" Jungkook said getting excited .

" your favorite song?" He asked, he is looking at her hands on her lap, he want to hold it but can't say it at all " I don't listen song" she replied honestly catching him off gaurd " huh?" He asked confused.

" It's just sound of forest, bird chirping ,waterfall or sea waves" she replied playing the music loud and he nodded in understanding that she like forest " what about you? What kind of music you like?" She asked .

" Music left me with someone" he said and become gloomy suddenly and y/n don't want to push him further " I have seen the general, your dad.. you love him so much?" she said smiling at him and he become excited to tell her about his dad.

" yes I love him so much, I want to be like him he is super good.. he is my hero he saved many life, I just can't explain what he is to me, I can write whole book at him -" he get cut off in middle " I also love my mom and dad" she mumble suddenly and her eyes are teary .

Jungkook hold her hands not in prevert way but a sympathetic way because he know she is orphan, he have read her profile " y/n, I'm here you can talk to me" he said giving a smile to them but her eyes are at their intertwined fingers, she still didn't liked his touch.

Jungkook didn't removed but hold her hand more tightly " maybe we can make parents, you and I? Hahah" He laughed when he find his own comment cringe and she also laughed, laughing out very loud for a silly joke.

But he is liking her laugh, she is looking very beautiful, her eyes are sparkling and the sound she make is not that good but he find it like soothing music, he crease back of her hand.

" that was good one major " It was yoongi who scoff suddenly, catching both of them off gaurd.

Y/n stopped laughing and just smile a little while jungkook glare at yoongi for ruining their moment" we are here" yoongi informed both of them who were busy chatting and laughing, jungkook nodded but still holding her hands securely which didn't go unnoticed by yoongi.

Y/n removed her hands from jungkook's grip gently and walked outside leaving both of them alone " hyung what is wrong with you?" Jungkook asked and yoongi shurg " Ask yourself what is wrong with you" yoongi said and joined other outside, jungkook stood there confused.

" He has gone crazy" jungkook mumble and follow them out, as soon he step out and saw the south regiment he glare at them and take deep breath in determination he is winner and today also he is going to win.

"Welcome soldiers, I'm glad to have you here" Jeune said looking all of them sheepishly and shot a smirk to y/n who didn't let it affect her, jungkook who was busy in discussion didn't noticed but yoongi did and let out a meaningful chuckle.

" Competition is at it's place but we are soldiers so try to be friendly with your fellow competitors" he said emphasized at word friends and look at y/n almost checking her up and down " Ofcourse major " jungkook said blocking his view and shake hand with him, squeezing it hard and Jeune squeeze back.

" hope you remember the bet" he said smiling, jungkook smile back if the third person this they will think they are having a friendly conversation " I didn't made any bet" jungkook said pulling his hands back, " still I make sure I win" he said and patted Jeune shoulder before walking toward ground.

" Let's see Major Jeon, how you'll win the race today " Jeune said smirking looking at his runner whom is ready to execute his plan, he can't let jungkook win, every single time he win and make Jeune feel ashamed in front of his own battalion but not today.

"What is the problem here?" Jungkook asked looking at 6 of them who is having a argue in middle of track when they should be ready for running, he is mad at them for this kind of act.

" y/n said she will run in this" Jae said looking at y/n who is in track suite but other are wearing shorts with a simple t-shirt except her " it's very uncomfortable for running but she is not listening to us" she added in her statement.

"But it's her choice right?" Haneul said making a discomfort face " it's her choice but she will look different from us and what is the problem with shorts?" Jackson added when he felt everyone is making Jae villain.

"And I didn't find problem with trousers " Sunjun said to Jackson who look a little shock that Sunjun didn't took his side, with that all of them start arguing not finding their conversation totally trash.

" SOLDIERS " jungkook yelled when they didn't listen at first call, they get alert and gulp when they saw jungkook look at them with angry gaze " Kang are you uncomfortable in trousers? Or you'll face problem in running? " He asked looking at her.

" there is no problem sir" she said and he nodded " the runner have no problem then I don't think you should have" he said looking no one in personal but his words are directed toward Jae and Jackson.

" but we are team and if her speed decrease it will affect everyone" Jae said back truthfully and jungkook take a deep breath because he don't want drama here " Do I need to repeat myself? " He asked and this time looking at Jae's eyes who lower her gaze and shake her head.

"Take your position now" he ordered and they run back to take their position at track, Jae is first who is leading the group then is Sunjun after that is Aera... they will run first 200m separately which will make a complete round of 600m ground .

For next is Jackson then is Haneul and then is y/n who will run other round of ground " all the best" Jackson said to Jae smiling at her, he know she need it because of what happened some minutes ago and she is his team he don't want to loose.

Jae's hands are sweaty when she hold baton and pray that she do well and took her position, eyes show she badly wants to win, Sunjun is at 200m distance smiling like he don't have any problem either he win or not but just participate.

Aera is at another 200m with cracking her neck, hoseok already warned her if she didn't won she have have to bring breakfast/lunch/dinner for him for next whole week, she don't want to do this so have to win.

Jackson patted Jae's shoulder giving her courage, beside Sunjun, Haneul sand they both are goofing around teasing eachother, beside Aera is y/n who have no expression.

And with the firing in air race start making everyone heart race too..
