Dear Diary,

I realized I forgot to return Iwaizumi-san’s handkerchief.

I spotted her in the cafeteria, absorbed in her sketches as usual, and that’s when it hit me. I quickly apologized, and she looked a bit surprised that I had picked it up among all the people around, but she reassured me that it was no big deal and I could return it anytime.

After that, I couldn’t help but notice my teammates glancing my way more often. I’m not sure what their deal is, but when I asked them about it, they just shrugged and said it was nothing. However, it wasn’t long before they started questioning me about my relationship with her, having apparently overheard our brief conversation in the cafeteria.

I mentioned that we often cross paths in the park near our homes, but before I could further elaborate, they gasped and immediately dove into their own chatter, leaving me behind in confusion.

It’s strange how they’re acting, but I suppose it’s just typical for them to make a big deal out of nothing.
