"he's so cute." taehyung cooed, holding a happy pup in his lap. the pitbull was licking his face, causing taehyung to giggle.

"i don't regret a single thing." jeongguk said, pulling up to the cabin.

"what are your parents gonna think?" taehyung asked, unbuckling.

"well, they've always wanted a dog. so... hopefully they'll be fine with it!" he said, causing taehyung to laugh.

they got out, taehyung setting captain down in the snow. he limped around excitedly, sniffing the ground and running all over the front yard.

jeongguk smiled, catching up to him and lifting him into his arms. "let's go introduce you!" he said, walking into the left cabin with taehyung trailing behind.

"mom, dad!" he called out.

they came from the kitchen, gasping. "oh my goodness, who is this cutie??" his mom asked, walking over and looking at the puppy.

"i may or may not have impulsively adopted this little guy from the puppy shop." he said, laughing awkwardly.

"well he's just too adorable! you can keep him as long as you take care of him." she said.

"yay!" jeongguk said, turning captain around to face him. "we're gonna have to make you a back leg."

"ooh! we can make him one of those cool wheel prosthetics!!" taehyung said, jumping from excitement.

jeongguk laughed, kissing his cheek. "mhm, then he will be able to run and walk around all he wants!" he said.

"well then, we're heading down to the lake for fishing at 4 o'clock, so if you wanna come just head over." jeongguk's mom said.

"okay, we will." he said, leading taehyung back to their own cabin.

once they got inside, jeongguk set captain down. he limped around, sniffing and exploring their cabin. taehyung took off his coat, mittens, hat, and boots, and he trotted over to the couch.

jeongguk followed suit, plopping down next to him and pulling him into his arms.

taehyung snuggled up to his chest, smiling softly.

"this place is so nice, i wanna live here." taehyung muttered, watching captain clumsily run around.

"i know, it's really pretty all year round. in the summer, it's so much fun to go swimming and kayaking, and in fall the town has a huge annual festival. they have things like pie eating contests, pumpkin carving, free apple cider, music in the central plaza, and a ton of other things. it's like a town straight from a fairy tale." jeongguk explained.

"wow, that's awesome! maybe when i'm older i'll come live here!" taehyung said.

jeongguk smiled, rubbing his side. "wanna come live here with me someday?" he asked softly.

taehyung blushed, nodding as he looked up at jeongguk. "yes please." he whispered.

"okay."

"oh my goodness where did this bundle of joy come from??" carrie asked as she entered the cabin.

"we went into a puppy store and ggukie couldn't resist!" taehyung said, snuggling up to jeongguk.

they were now in the kitchen, jeongguk slicing up some apples as taehyung clung to him.

"aw, he's so cute!" she cooed, lifting him up and carrying the pup into the kitchen.

taehyung grabbed an apple slice and held it out in front of captains mouth.

he giggled when captain sniffed it and then started munching on it.

"how are you liking it here, taehyung?" she asked, smiling as she leaned against the counter.

"i love it! it's so nice and pretty." he said, smiling.

"good! i'm glad, maybe you'll come back for the summer and we can hang out more!" she said.

taehyung nodded eagerly, grinning.

"how's meliha?" jeongguk asked carrie.

her eyes lit up, her cheeks turning rosy as she smiled.

"ah, she's great. i love her so much." carrie said dreamily, resting her chin in the palm of her hand.

taehyung smiled, studying her face. "is she your girlfriend?" he asked.

"mhm, she sure is! my beautiful girlfriend... i miss her." carrie said, her expression going from proud to sad.

jeongguk and taehyung both laughed, shaking their heads.

"call her then." jeongguk suggested.

"i'm going to see her right after this... would that seem too clingy?" she asked.

"carrie, you've been with her for three years, i'm sure it won't be too clingy." jeongguk snickered.

"ah, that's right! time flies when you're in love~" she said, pulling out her phone and tapping her screen a few times before putting it up to her ear.

"hi baby!" she said happily.

"ah, i just wanted to hear your voice, i miss you."

"i know i'm seeing you in like twenty minutes, that's too long though." she pouted.

"okay, i'll see you soon, i love you!"

she hung up, taehyung and jeongguk watching amusedly.

"she's so cuteeee~" carrie cooed.

the two boys just rolled their eyes, letting her continue to ramble about her girlfriend as they started eating the apple slices.

"okay, i should get going, you two have a great rest of your day!" she said, putting on her coat and leaving.

"is she always like that?" taehyung questioned curiously.

"yep, whenever meliha is brought up into a conversation, she goes on and on and on about how much she loves her." he chuckled, feeding taehyung an apple slice.

he happily ate it, smiling.

"yoongi tells me you're like that with me~" taehyung teased, nudging jeongguk's side.

the older blushed, biting his lip.

"so what if i am? i can't help it that my boyfriend is literally the cutest, most precious human being ever." jeongguk retorted, making taehyung the one to blush this time.

"stop~" he whined, smacking jeongguk's arm.

he just laughed, watching as taehyung ran away to go hide his face in a pillow.

captain chased after him, well, attempted to.

jeongguk ate the rest of the apple slices before following taehyung, seeing that he was lying face down on the couch.

jeongguk sat behind him, starting to rub his back.

taehyung let out an audible sigh, enjoying the massage jeongguk was giving him.

jeongguk massaged his neck and shoulders for a bit before sliding his hand under his sweater and scratching his back soothingly.

"mm, thank you." taehyung mumbled, closing his eyes.

"you're welcome." jeongguk said, basically just running his hands all over taehyungs back and sides to help him relax.

taehyung sat up after a few more minutes, cuddling up to jeongguk and pressing a kiss to his lips.

"i love you ggukie." he whispered.

"i love you more, petal."

"i think i got something!!" taehyung shrieked, feeling a tug on his pole.

"okay reel it in baby!" jeongguk said, standing beside him and resting his hand on his waist as taehyung tugged on the pole and started winding up the string.

"woah!!" he said, revealing a large rainbow trout.

jeongguk clapped, taking the fish off the hook and setting it on the ground.

"wow taehyung, that's the biggest fish i've ever seen!" jeongguk's dad said, clapping him on the back.

he blushed, smiling shyly.

"thank you." he squeaked, frowning as he watched the poor fish flop around on the ground.

"he's suffering!" he cried, quickly lifting the fish up and dropping him back in the water.

"oh tae, we didn't even get a picture!" jeongguk's mother said.

"it's okay mom, he wanted to save the fish and he did." jeongguk smiled, pulling taehyung into his arms and kissing his forehead.

taehyung smiled, burying his face in jeongguk's coat.

"he's such a pure little sweetheart." she cooed.

"i was planning on cooking that fish..." jeongguk's dad sighed.

everyone broke out into laughter, even taehyung.

"sorry." he giggled.

they headed back to the cabins after a few hours, all of them too cold to continue fishing.

taehyung stripped himself of his cold and wet mittens as well as his snow boots and coat, watching as jeongguk did the same.

it was now dark outside, about 8:30 pm.

"lets get the fireplace going." jeongguk said, rubbing his hands together as he walked into their bedroom. taehyung climbed onto the bed, watching as jeongguk loaded some wood into the fireplace and then lit it, putting the cover over it and wiping his hands on his pants.

the fireplace was the only light in the room, illuminating their faces with a flickering orange glow.

taehyung turned to look out the glass doors, gasping when he saw beautiful stars.

"ggukie look! you can see the milky way!!" he said, quickly getting up and opening the doors, stepping out into the snowy deck after sliding on some slippers.

jeongguk grabbed a blanket, putting on some shoes and joining him outside. he wrapped the blanket around himself, standing behind taehyung and wrapping his arms around his waist.

they were now both bundled up in the blanket, staring up at the twinkling night sky.

"wow." taehyung breathed out, his eyes wide with curiosity as he observed the beautiful sight above their heads.

jeongguk smiled, kissing his cheek. "it never gets old. every time i come up here, this is my favourite part." he explained.

taehyung shivered, so they both went back inside and climbed onto the bed. captain was sleeping out in the living room, everything was at peace.

taehyung laid against jeongguk, staring at the fire as jeongguk took out his phone and connected it to a bluetooth speaker, playing soft slow music.

he set his phone down and snuggled back up to taehyung.

taehyung turned and looked up at him, smiling softly.

"what?" jeongguk asked, smiling as well as he caressed his cheek.

"i dunno. you're just handsome." he whispered.

jeongguk hummed, leaning in and connecting their lips.

they kissed slowly, the soft smacks of their lips and the crackling of the fire being a nice ambience along with the music playing.

taehyung rested his hands on jeonggguk's hard chest, sliding them down a bit as his fingers trailed over his muscles.

jeongguk slowly rolled on top of him, holding his waist as they kissed.

taehyung wrapped his arms around jeongguk's neck, kissing him back eagerly. his cheeks were red from intimacy, heart pounding hard against his chest.

he felt something else spark deep inside of him, causing him to blush more as he slowly pulled away from the kiss.

"gguk..." he squeaked.

"what's up baby?" he asked curiously, rubbing his waist.

"c-can.... can we have sex?"
