"it's date night!!" jimin said happily, rummaging through taehyung's closet.

"yeah, your date night." taehyung said with a laugh, watching as jimin ran over to the boy and held up a few things to his chest.

"and yours too!!"

"i'm not going on a date!" taehyung said, blushing.

"um, yes you are. jeongguk literally offered to come so you wouldn't fourth wheel."

"yeah but it's not a date." taehyung said again.

"whatever. here, this is the perfect outfit!!" jimin said, handing taehyung black skinny jeans, a black sweatshirt and a gray cap.

taehyung's eyes widened, and he shook his head. "nu-uh!! where'd you even find that? i'm pretty sure that wasn't in my closet." he said.

"awe come on! why not?" jimin asked.

"it's not me! i don't feel comfortable wearing that. i'm choosing." he said, standing up and stomping over to his closet.

he smiled when he found the perfect outfit. a white shirt, a beige coat and rolled up jeans with striped socks and some white sneakers.

"you always wear stuff like that!" jimin said. "no... i wear sweaters and pants. i don't usually wear coats!" he argued.

"you're difficult."

"no i'm not. i'm just entitled to my opinions." he said, raising his chin.

jimin smiled, adoring how cute taehyung was. "okay, let's go!! yoongi's waiting outside." he said.

"okay!!"

taehyung was waiting patiently in line to buy snacks while the other three were in the theater already to get a seat.

he handed the lady a wad of cash, taking the change and pouting when he saw how much he would have to carry. he had bought snacks for everyone.

he attempted to carry two of the large popcorn buckets with his left arm, succeeding but groaning when he wasn't able to grab the four icees and the candy bars with his other arm.

"need some help?" a familiar voice said.

taehyung looked up, eyes widening as he saw jeongguk. he nodded desperately. jungkook smiled, taking three of the drinks and putting the candy bars in his pocket. taehyung took the other drink with his right hand.

"did they really expect you to carry all of this by yourself?" jeongguk asked, looking down at taehyung.

"y-yeah, but it's okay!! they are saving us seats so it's the least i can do!!" he said happily.

jeongguk smiled sadly. "you're really sweet. and selfless." jeongguk said.

"t-thanks." taehyung said.

they made their way all the way up to the top row where the trio was seated. taehyung slipped on one of the steps and jeongguk quickly reached out with his somewhat free hand to steady him.

taehyung blushed sheepishly, finally reaching the top. he handed the trio their popcorn and drinks, sitting down beside hoseok. jeongguk sat on taehyung's other side, sighing.

"oh!! i'm so sorry, i completely forgot to get you anything!! you can share my snickers if you want!" he said, looking over at jeongguk. the quarterback smiled, ruffling taehyung's hair which caused him to blush with a shy smile on his face.

"don't be sorry. i'm okay." he said.

taehyung sighed, holding out his hand for jeongguk to give him the candy bars. he passed three of them to the trio beside him, and then opened his own snickers. he broke it down the middle, handing one half to jeongguk.

"i insist." he said.

the marvel intro played, for the movie avengers: endgame.

taehyung and jeongguk were on the edge of their seats the whole movie, both of them intently watching while the trio were barely paying attention, making out 80 percent of the time.

the other two, however, were tearing up, watching what was happening on screen. "no!!" taehyung cried, tears streaming down his face.

jeongguk was the same. he reached over and grabbed a handful of hoseok's popcorn, shoving it into his mouth to muffle his sobs and to distract him.

after the end, and waiting through all of the credits for the after credit scene, which there wasn't one, the lights turned on.

taehyung and jeongguk wiped their eyes, sniffling. "are you guys.... crying?? over an action movie??" jimin asked.

taehyung gasped, standing up. "just an action movie?! it's not just an action movie! you guys aren't even close to understanding what the marvel franchise has been through, action movies aren't just action, if you actually paid attention, you'd realize that you can create an emotional connection with these characters!!" taehyung defended.

jeongguk nodded in agreement, standing up as well. "yeah, he's right! if you guys weren't sucking face the whole time, you'd realize what you've missed!! you would've cried too, especially during infinity war but in this one too, because an important character died!!" jeongguk said.

taehyung and jeongguk were glaring at them, both of their faces red and puffy from crying.

"okay! damn.... but lowkey you guys look like such a power couple right now." jimin said, hoseok and yoongi nodding in agreement.

taehyung blushed, rolling his eyes.

jimin stood up and stretched his arms, squeaking when hoseok wrapped his arms around his waist and started kissing his neck.

taehyung looked away, starting to head down the steps. he motioned for jeongguk to come along, who furrowed his eyebrows. "aren't we going to wait for them?" he asked.

"yeah, we will down in the lobby. trust me, you don't wanna be here. they'll all start making out again for a few minutes before leaving. it happens every time." taehyung explained.

jeongguk chuckled, shaking his head. "they're like really really touchy." he said.

taehyung nodded, smiling. "yeah, it's kind of gross after awhile. i've had to sit in a ferris wheel with the three of them kissing and touching each other. and it got stuck at the top..." he said, pulling on his sleeves.

jeongguk frowned. "i'm sorry. doesn't jimin give you attention?" he asked.

"yeah! he does. but whenever there's a boring time or wait, they'll go at it." he said, giggling.

"oh, good. i'm glad you're not neglected." jeongguk said.

taehyung nodded, biting his lip as he looked at his shoes. "hey, taehyung?" he asked. the boy looked up, awaiting jeongguk's question.

"do you wear makeup often?" he asked, just now noticing the glossy eyeshadow on the boys eyelids, and the faint glittery blush and tint to his lips.

taehyung nodded shyly, feeling embarrassed. of course jeongguk pointed out my makeup. probably to make fun of it. he is on the football team, so obviously he would make fun of my makeup and call me mean names and-

"it's very pretty."

taehyung looked up at jeongguk, his irises sparkling. "really?" he asked, surprised. jeongguk nodded.

"oh, thank you. not many people compliment it." he said with a blush.

"let's go get some dinner!!" hoseok said from behind them, running towards the exit. the rest of them laughed, following hoseok out the door.

jeongguk drove himself separately, but they all arrived around the same time. they were eating at their towns local diner.

when he arrived, everyone was at a booth, taehyung looking around expectantly. when his eyes landed on jeongguk, they widened significantly and he started puffing up the back of his hair.

for jeongguk he just thought it was cute, but for taehyung it was an excited tic. whenever he got excited or impatient, he'd play with his hair and fluff it up.

jeongguk sat down next to taehyung, greeting everyone for the second time that day. "what are you going to get?" he asked taehyung, looking over at him.

"i don't know yet... there's so much to choose from!" he said, staring at the menu with an adorable pout. jeongguk fought the urge to just cup his cheeks and kiss it away.

"taehyung you say that and then order the same thing every time." hoseok said, chuckling. taehyung blushed deeply.

"i'll get something different this time!!" he promised.

hoseok raised an eyebrow, as if questioning his declaration.

in fact, he did order something different. instead of the usual burger and fries, he ordered a soup. and a side of fries. yes, fries with soup. he just loved their fries so much.

"wow, he actually followed through." jimin said.

"yeah, take that!" taehyung said, sticking his tongue out at hoseok and jimin. they rolled their eyes, taking sips out of their drinks.

taehyung and jeongguk had both ordered strawberry milkshakes, and taehyung was bouncing up and down in his seat in excitement.

"i love their shakes!!" he said.

jeongguk just watched him with a wide smile, finding his excitement adorable. the shakes finally arrived, and taehyung reached out for his happily. he took it into his hands and immediately took a sip, sighing at the yummy taste.

and boy was jeongguk whipped.
