IT WASN'T LONG BEFORE BONNIE'S SPELL BACKFIRED AND APRIL STARTED CLUTCHING HER THROAT WHILE GASPING FOR AIR. Anubis and Bonnie locked eyes before looking at April, "What's happening?" Bonnie asked. April then started coughing out water only confusing Bonnie and Anubis more, the water was falling onto the floor wetting Anubis' shoe. 

"Bonnie, what did you do?" Anubis asked while looking at her with a mix of anger and annoyance. 

"I didn't do anything," Bonnie protested while April kneeled on the floor, the coughing stopped and April gasped for air while Bonnie helped her to her feet. Anubis put a hand on April's back. 

"Are you okay?" Anubis asked worriedly. April nodded her head as she coughed and she took in a deep breath with glassy azure eyes. 

"I'm fine, I just--" she then let out a scream and a pool of crimson started staining her perfectly white shirt. April fell to the ground once more, Anubis' eyes widened even more in fear, she was dying and Anubis didn't know how. April was growing paler by the second as the blood kept pooling around. 

"Oh my god," Bonnie said to herself, Anubis put his hands over the bleeding hoping to stop it. 

He looked up at Bonnie with worry, "What? What is it?" 

"She's linked to Shane. I-I-I linked them with the spell. Whatever they're doing to him, it's happening to her," Bonnie explained. 

Anubis rolled his eyes, "I know how linking spells work, Bonnie. Stop whatever is going on or else she's going to die right here, right now." A thousand emotions ran through Anubis, he was angry at Bonnie for keeping her secrets from him. She was angry at her for putting April in danger, he was angry at her for avoiding him constantly. He was furious but he didn't let that show and his sharp tongue would seen take over him. 

The door to the lab opened quickly with Elena and Stefan walking in with worried faces. Elena and Stefan rushed towards April who grew limp, she was weak and her skin was cold to the touch. 

"Bonnie, what's going on?" Elena asked worriedly. 

"She needs help," Bonnie said worriedly trying to avoid Anubis' death glare. 

Stefan looked up at Bonnie, "What happened?" 

Bonnie took in a deep breath, "I did a protection spell, but it accidentally linked Shane to April." 

Elena furrowed her brows, "And you couldn't control it?" 

"I didn't know I was doing it! Usually I feel pain or I bleed, but this time I just felt more power." Bonnie explained while looking at three of them. Anubis shook his head in disbelief, this wasn't going to be good. 

Stefan bit his wrist and lifted it up to April's mouth, she soon gasped once the blood touche her tongue. She let out a large gasp and her eyes were wide with terror, Stefan was quick to comfort her, "It's okay, it's okay! You're okay, you're okay," Stefan said, he looked at Bonnie and Anubis,  "Bonnie, get out of the school. Just be careful. Tyler's out there, and he turned." 

"What about you?" Anubis asked worriedly. 

"No, we can't leave. Rebekah's compelled us," Elena answered. 

"Just go. We'll deal with her later. Come on." Stefan said while looking at Elena. Anubis helped April get up and she was still weak from what had happened. Bonnie along with the two of them quickly got out of the science lab, Bonnie and April took the lead while Anubis looked out for any Originals or Tyler. 

After April and Bonnie got out of the school, the voice of a certain blonde caught Anubis' attention, "Pity, I thought you left to Egypt or somewhere right now," Anubis turned his back and saw Rebekah standing with a smirk on her face and her hands on her hips. 

"Pity, I thought you would have been dead by now," Anubis said while folding his arms across his chest. 

Rebekah chuckled slightly, "You're a funny one, Anubis, I like you." 

Anubis rolled his eyes, "I don't have time for this," He went to turn his back but Rebekah beat him to it, appearing right in front of him. 

"You know, Anubis, out of all my brothers, I have to say that I am probably the second most sensible one," Rebekah started. 

"Second?" 

Rebekah rolled her eyes, "Elijah has always been the noble one," Rebekah explained, "Anyway, I see what's going on with you and the witch. It's cute really, too bad she doesn't see it and too bad she only see's you as an asset rather than a friend." 

Anubis rolled her eyes, "Where is this conversation going?" 

Rebekah's lips curled into a mischeovous smile, "Let's be honest here, no one really pays attention to us. Niklaus doesn't think I'm serious and Bonnie just sees you as, well, a pawn in all of this. You're her missing piece to win, with the god of death of her side, she's undefeatable." 

"I'm not going to hurt anyone and you almost killed April--" 

"Ah, incorrect, my brother almost killed Shane and if it weren't for the linking spell, it would have been him. Bonnie almost killed April." Rebekah said with a smirk. 

Anubis looked at Rebekah, "You almost killed someone either way, look, what do you want?" 

Rebekah rolled her eyes, "I think that we would make a good team, together, my brother won't see what's coming and Bonnie will see you as more than a pawn." 

"No, I've learned to never trust a Mikaelson. I'm not going to trust you after everything your family has done. More people are going to come to harm and I'm not going to stand for it. After everything is all done, I'm going to back." 

Rebekah let out a sigh, "Whatever you say Anubis, but deep down you know I'm right. Now, if you don't mind, I have some business to attend to," Rebekah smiled before quickly leaving Anubis. Anubis shook his head before he decided to go to Bonnie. Bonnie was outside on her porch with the lights inside her house still on. She held her hands and she was wrapped in her blanket. 

"What you did was reckless," Anubis said, Bonnie quickly looked up at Anubis and shook her head. 

"What are you doing here?" she asked quickly, "My dad is inside and he could come out any minute." 

Anubis rolled his eyes in disbelief, "Is that all you care about?" Anubis asked, "You almost killed April with black magic?" Anubis whispered. Bonnie got up quickly to defend herself. 

"I didn't know what I was doing and it's not black magic, it's called expression," Bonnie said in a low voice, she was angry at Anubis. He didn't understand anything that was going on. 

Anubis put his arms on Bonnie's shoulders, "There are different names for the same thing, Bonnie. Whatever it is that's going on, I don't want any part in it. I didn't stay here just so you could go around doing crazy things," 

"Then why did you stay?" Bonnie said in an angered tone, "You don't understand Anubis," 

"That's because you've avoided me ever since, you refuse to talk to me, you refuse to tell me what's going on, so how am I supposed to understand?" Anubis looked at Bonnie, the two were close to each other and both were angry. Anubis looked at Bonnie's emerald green eyes and Bonnie looked into his. 

Anubis could hear Bonnie breathing because of how close they were, the door to the porch opened and Bonnie's dad stood with a confused look on his face, "Who are you and what are you doing?" 

Anubis took a step back and smiled at Bonnie's dad, "Nothing, sir, I was just telling Bonnie how proud she should be," Anubis lied. 

Bonnie put on a fake smile for her dad, "Dad, this is my friend," 

"I haven't seen you around here before," her dad started. 

Anubis simply smiled, "I got here a few months ago, anyway, it's time I should go home. Have a good night Mr. Bennett," Anubis turned his back on the two and walked out on them, he knew where he had to go. 

He was going to see Rebekah Mikaelson.
