ISIS WAS IN THE CENTER OF WOODS SURROUNDED BY THE TALL TREES AROUND HER. The sky was a mix of oranges and reds as the sun was setting. The goddess was waiting for Bonnie to come since she had the rest of the supplies that she needed to perform the spell. The hardest part of the whole thing was bringing Anubis to them and Isis was thinking about ideas, but after minutes, she realized how she would do it. 

Isis used a tree trunk to set down her ingredients, she had a few herbs near and she had a vial of blood. The blood in the vial belonged to Anubis and Bonnie but it wasn't binded yet. Isis then set the silver dagger next to a bowl that she had for the ingredients. The dagger gave Isis an eery feeling as the witches used it a long time ago for Anubis. 

She felt that if she used it on Anubis that it would like betraying him. Isis heard footsteps near and she quickly became attentive before seeing Bonnie wrapped up in a cloak that Isis provided her with. 

Isis let out a shaky breath, "You scared me, Bonnie," Isis commented as the lifted the head of her cloak off. 

Bonnie took the hood of her cloak off, "I don't get what's the whole point of wearing a cloak. Doesn't it draw more attention?" Bonnie walked over the tree trunk where Isis stood, she placed her hands on the trunk near the dagger. 

Isis sighed, "We are trying to get one person's attention, anyway, do you have the ingredients?" Bonnie nodded handing Isis a paper bag full of herbs, Isis' lips curled into a smile as she looked into the bag, "Perfect." 

"So, how is this going to work?" Bonnie asked as Isis set the bag on the ground and started placing the herbs on the tree trunk. 

Isis started putting the herbs in the bowl, "Well, it's not going to be easy. We have to wait for the full moon. Second, our goal is to get Anubis here and after that, we'll put him under a temporary sleep. Once he's asleep, I will use the dagger to draw blood and use our little concoction here to bring him back. Once the wound is healed, we'll see if it works, but we must be very careful if he's even an ounce of being awake, we've failed, or one bad move or one second too late and we're screwed." 

Bonnie let out a deep breath, "So any sudden movements and he's gone?" The witch raised her eyebrow at Isis as Isis was smashing the ingredients in the bowl, her eyes followed Isis as she poured the vial of blood in the bowl. 

"How are we going to draw him here?" Bonnie asked when Isis remained silent. 

Isis picked her head up, her curls bouncing off of her face, "Remind me, Bonnie, what is Anubis the god of?" 

Bonnie furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "Death," Bonnie's eyes grew wide, "Wait, you're not going to kill anyone, are you?" 

Isis sighed as she looked at Bonnie, "No, I'm not, but someone will have to be on the brink of death in order for him to come. I will surely bring that person back." 

Bonnie shook her head, she was not going to risk anyone's life, "No, I'm not going to let you do this. If something goes wrong we'll have two people that'll be gone for good." Isis licked her lips at Bonnie's comment, the goddess tilted her head. 

"Bonnie, remember how you said you wanted Anubis back? Well, guess what? This is our only way of doing it and frankly, I don't care if you approve of my method, now the full moon is rising and I want to get my friend back," Isis spat, Bonnie furrowed her brows at the goddess. Bonnie's chest was heaving and her hands were in fists. 

"Well, I'm going to stop you," Bonnie added as Isis walked over to Bonnie. 

Isis smirked, "I like you, Bonnie, I really do and I apologize for doing this," the last thing Bonnie did was furrow her brows in confusion as Isis placed her hands on Bonnie's forehead. Bonnie's knees buckled to the ground as she collapsed. Isis let out a deep breath as she dragged Bonnie's body towards the center of the woods where they were. 

Isis walked over to get the dagger and an herb, she looked up at the sky which was now dark and full of stars. Isis spread one of the herbs around Bonnie's body. Isis walked over to the bowl and started chanting a spell, she then poured the vial into the bowl where flame erupted but soon disappeared. 

Isis carried the bowl and the dagger towards Bonnie and knelt down next to her body. The dead leaves crunched under Isis' feet as she dipped her thumb into the bowl while placing a finger on Bonnie's forehead. Isis then grabbed the dagger and cut into Bonnie's palm, the leaves were soon stained with scarlet red. 

The ground that Bonnie lay on was lit with the glowing light of the moon, Isis was hoping that blood would attract Anubis to the Bonnie. Within a few minutes, Isis saw a figure in the woods and she saw Anubis with glowing yellow eyes. Isis stood over Bonnie with the dagger. Isis let out a shaky breath when she saw him. 

"Isis, what are you doing?" Anubis asked in a monotonous voice, Isis felt her palms sweaty and she wiped it against her cloak. The goddess straightened her back and lifted her chin up. 

"It is time, Anubis," Isis lifted up the dagger, "Do you remember this?" Anubis' eyes landed on the dagger and anger quickly raged through him, he ran towards Isis but was stopped by the goddess of magic herself. 

"How the hell did you get that?" Anubis tried to get to Isis but he failed as Isis had magic to hold him back. 

"So you do remember, you remember the fate that this brought you, don't you?" Isis asked she gulped before continuing, "Well, if you don't comply then she will get that same fate. She will be in this state for the rest of her life until her human heart stops." Isis watched Anubis clench his fists and his eyes darted to the witch on the ground, Anubis' fingers relax and so did his breathing, "Would you let an innocent person die?" 

Isis stopped her magic and Anubis walked slowly towards the circle of herbs, "What you're doing isn't right Isis," he spoke slowly and firmly which sent a shiver down her spine. 

"I know that, but, it was the only way," Isis watched Anubis' footsteps. 

Anubis furrowed his brows, "For wh--" Isis snapped her fingers and Anubis fell to the ground inside the circle next to Bonnie. Isis let out a sigh of relief when he dropped to the ground, she quickly ran over to him and knelt down with the bowl and dagger. Isis placed two fingers over Anubis' wrist and waited for to it to be slow and steady. 

Isis lifted up Anubis' shirt slightly to reveal a tan mark, the eyes of Anubis, Isis let out a deep breath. If he was still awake, her plan was going to fail. Isis took the dagger and cut into the mark on Anubis' abdomen. A stream of blood ran down the side and stained the leaves underneath. Isis then took the mixture of the bowl and put it in the wound while also placing a mark on his forehead. 

Isis hovered her hands over the wound and started chanting the spell, as she got more intense, candles around her started to light up and the wind grew vicious. Isis watched the wound to see if it would close up, the wound was slowly coming back together and soon enough it was as if it wasn't there. Isis sat back with the two bodies next to each together. 

Isis then placed her two fingers on Bonnie's wrist, it was growing slower and slower and she realized she needed to act fast. Isis quickly placed her hands on Bonnie's chest and started chanting another spell. When she saw nothing was happening, she kept repeating the spell. 

Isis placed her fingers on her wrist again and felt nothing. Isis felt her heart beating against her chest rapidly and her hands were shaking furiously. She knew that CPR would be useless and only magic could bring her back. Isis kept repeating the spell until she heard a breath come out of Bonnie. 

Bonnie sat straight up which made Isis let out a breath of relief. Bonnie looked over at Isis with an angry look, "You killed me, and for what?!" Bonnie looked around until her eyes dropped on Anubis. Her emerald eyes grew wide, "Oh my god! Did it work?!" 

Isis looked as Bonnie went over to Anubis, "I do not know, we'll have to wait and see," 

Bonnie looked over at Isis with raised eyebrows, "You mean, you don't know how if this worked! You risked both of our lives for this?"

"Bonnie, I--" Before Isis could finish, Anubis let out a gasp of air and his eyes fluttered open. 

Bonnie was the first person to see if it was back, and when she saw the ocean blues look back at her, she felt more than relief.
