SOPHIE ANNE'S parents were the subject of love itself, they were happy souls, soulmates. She always longed for a romance like theirs, she even dreamed of those scenarios but they were never with anybody specific until she began to dream of her best-friend, JACOB BLACK.

Twelve years old and she was already in love with a person who certainly didn't love her in the same way and that was why she waited it out. So many years went by and Jacob was still crushing on the Chief's daughter — Bella Swan, even after she'd left Forks to live in Arizona with her mother.

Now, at her great age of sixteen years-old, she finally realised that she was better than to wait for a stupid boy who'd never even scrape the sides of love towards her and so, she got over him. It took a while, but eventually she moved on with the help from her friends and one closer friend in particular, the baby Newton.

LAYLA NEWTON comforted Sophie through the entire process, making sure she was stocked up on her favourite Mostra coffee and cookie dough ice cream and always there to give the brunette a shoulder to cry on.

She didn't see Jacob as much as before after she'd gotten over him, only ever when she went to the Reservation to visit EMBRY CALL, the boy who'd grown close to both Sophie and Layla, the three becoming an iconic trio.

Things went downhill when Bella Swan returned to Forks for good this time and shortly after for an unknown reason, Jacob wasn't in love with Bella anymore and instead, fell head-over-heels in love for Sophie but she wanted nothing to do with him after he unknowingly broke her heart.

And not only did Sophie find out about werewolves and vampires, she also found out an insane truth about herself and the St. James family.

Purple was the colour of her eyes.
