It was dark. You could only hear the rain falling around you. You gently opened your eyelids and one of them caused you pain.
You were sitting on the wet deck of an unknown ship. Something was holding your wrists behind your back and you remembered being handcuffed.
You finally looked up to see some sailors running back and forth ignoring you, but that was just your impression...the ship was perfectly controlled by the soldiers stationed strategically on it.

You tried to get to your feet, until you heard some footsteps approaching behind you.

《Oh, you finally woke up. Did you have a good nap, huh?》  You've never heard that voice before, not even the man who stood in front of you. Even if you didn't see the face, it couldn't be the admiral you met before.

《Are you afraid of me or are you just shy, huh?》  He leaned down so you could look at him, but you turned away.

《Fuck off.》

Kizaru chuckled repeatedly. You had the courage to answer that way, but it didn't provoke the admiral's anger.

《Why am I under arrest? I didn't do anything so let me go.》  You continued, waving the handcuffs around the mast to try to free yourself.

《Oh, that's not possible...besides, you don't look like a dangerous or strong girl to me, but there's a nice bounty on your head and this is because you're blood relative of the Celestial Demon and now acquired of the Empress...don't you think that's a really heavy burden to carry on the shoulders of a little girl like you, huh?》

When he finished, you looked at him with an irritated expression.  《I'm not a fool, there's more that caught your attention whether I'm a pirate or not...that doesn't make you better than them.》

Just then, Akainu came out of the cabin. He would have preferred you to continue sleeping so as not to hear you speak. After what he had done to you, he expected you to remain with your mouth shut; on the contrary, that increased the hatred you felt for this man.

《I should have hit harder...》  Kizaru looked at you both with an amused expression. He absolutely didn't want to interrupt the show.

《Thank me for being alive. The time hasn't come to kill you yet and, when it comes, it will be a pleasure to do it with my own hands.》

Their true intentions weren't yet clear to you.
《If the Charlotte family wasn't your target, why did you do such a thing to Katakuri?》  To that question, Borsalino answered.

《It was just a diversion, of course, and without him Big Mom can do nothing but intervene personally...if she decides to save you...》

《...I trust them. They'll never leave me.》  You felt your family wouldn't leave you there and would try to save you.

《Well, look at the sea for yourself...it doesn't seem to see ships behind us...they wouldn't be so far away if they were, don't you think?》  The admiral with the sunglasses continued.

Suddenly, the sky thundered as the rain increased and the sea stirred causing the ship to rock violently. The soldiers tried to cling to something so as not to end up in the water, while the two admirals watched, without batting an eye, your e/c eyes filled with anger.

《Very interesting...》  Kizaru looked around in amazement.
《But do you really think this is enough?》

Inside you, you wanted to sink that damn ship, but you couldn't. That bastard was testing you aware of the fact that you didn't have much energy left.

《If he was still alive, your father would have been very disappointed in a daughter like you...it's a real shame you chose this life, huh.》

Those words hit you deeply and remembered that he had been a Navy captain too.
《Don't allow yourself to name him...he wasn't a killer, unlike you!》

At that point, you raised your leg to kick Borsalino, but Akainu grabbed and stopped you. He did the same thing when he had your neck in his hand making you jolt.

Akainu slapped you with his large gloved palm on your face causing a small cut on your lower lip, before turning away from you.

You were left alone. You were slumped back to the ground and stared at the void in front of you. You ignored everything and everyone, your only thought was to get out of that bad place but it was impossible.

Moreover, you didn't care if Big Mom's pirates didn't come to save you...you didn't say it in front of Kizaru and Akainu, but there was only one person you thought of and a tear fell on your face.
You wished Katakuri was there, but he couldn't, not now...he couldn't cross the sea to pick you up...he couldn't destroy the ship with his mochi and he couldn't defeat two admirals without his real strength...
The image of him remained etched in your mind for a while, before closing your eyes, under the brightening of the sky...

But your rest didn't last long and someone's shouting made you wake up.

Some soldiers were standing around where you were tied and looking down at you.

《And this would be a Charlotte family pirate? I was expecting something better...》  One of them began as he put the rifle on his shoulders.

Hearing them talk bothered you so you stretched out a foot to kick him away. The others began to laugh as their companion slipped on the wet wood of the bridge.

However, another grabbed your shirt collar to force you to look up.
《Of course you have the guts to keep doing as you please! Wasn't it enough for you to address two respectable Navy admirals like that? If you don't want to lose any limbs, it's better that you keep quiet when you're in front of Grand Admiral Akainu.》

《Then, I don't see why I shouldn't ignore you, since you're just a simple soldier.》  The tongue was the only weapon you had left to defend your pride, even if it would have cost you another blow to the face or abdomen. You turned your face to prepare for that but, strangely, the other didn't hit you...

《Hahaha, did you really think I was going to hit you? You're so conceited.》  The soldier, who turned out to be a first officer, pulled you towards him causing more pain along your arms.

《A dirty pirate like you deserves a punishment.》  He seemed crazy to you for what he was saying, until he ordered the rest of the group to free you from the mast...shortly after, they surrounded you.

Suddenly, you felt someone groping your ass.

《Damn, I haven't touched something like this for a long time...》  You wanted to beat him up, but forgot you still had the handcuffs on.

《I'll beat yours if you don't take that fucking hand away from me...》  But he didn't listen to you, while the others took a step forward towards you.
《S-stay away from me!》

You felt their filthy hands on you, trying hard through your clothes and touch you carelessly. Struggling didn't help, as if you moved away from one you would get closer to another.

The first officer grabbed your chin with violence.
《I can't say you're not a pretty girl, anyway. I bet you're somebody's whore, otherwise why would you stay in the family? ...maybe that Charlotte Katakuri's– agh!》

You hit him on the nose, making him groan in pain. A kick to the stomach caused you to lean forward while they blocked all other body movements.

《You all are nothing compared to him, you shouldn't even talk, losers.》  His hands grabbed you sharply and pushed you to the ground, to your knees.

《Well, think about it after you'll do a "service" to all these losers, hahaha...》  The others followed him in unison, while he unbuttoned his trouser uniform.

You absolutely didn't want that shit and doing it wouldn't guarantee you they would stop with just that...
He tried to force you to open your mouth, but you pushed your face away from him as much as possible.

《Come on, don't tell me this is your first time doing it...?》  He said it as if he didn't believe it, but it was actually the truth.

Suddenly you were pushed from behind causing you to lose your balance...you didn't even want to imagine what was next to your face.

《Suck it.》  He grabbed your hair so you wouldn't let escape again.

You gritted your teeth, not forgetting your hateful expression.
《Do you care so much about being castrated?》

This time, he didn't spare a punch puffing up and blushing your left cheek. It was surprisingly strong and you knew from that you made him angry.

And that happened...the magma reached the feet of the first officer until his member, still exposed outside his clothes. His cry of pain must have also been heard on the other side of the world, further frightening the other soldiers.

《You haven't signed up to do this filth...you better get out of my sight if you don't want me to throw you all overboard! May this be an example for all of you.》

Before the orders of the Grand Admiral, the soldiers lined up and then returned each to their own places, ignoring the severe burns of their comrades, who were rescued by the doctors on the ship.

You expected everything but that from someone like Akainu.

The other crossed his arms looking at you from above with his usual grim look, but without saying anything.

《I don't want your help.》  You continued.

You swore you heard him giggle. He had kept his men from harming you, but getting help from someone like him didn't make it any better.
He walked towards you, probably to give you another kick on your already red face.

The grand admiral broke the silence.
《I don't tolerate certain behaviors on my ship, but maybe you should be used to this...》

You couldn't understand the meaning of those words.
《What do you mean? It's not my fault if there are some dickheads harassing every woman on board–》

His hand reached your face and closed your mouth.
《No, you know perfectly well it's because of you.》

Unable to reply, you widened your eyes in confusion and that further irritated the grand admiral.

《I've inquired about this specialty of yours...your eyes have something that causes an aphrodisiac reaction on other human beings, when it's time for mating...I've never met a more problematic brat than you, you're really a pain in the ass.》

Finally he let you go and you took a breath again.

It was a long time since you ran away from your fears and from the hell in which you were forced to live and that couldn't have been anything worse...so why did you feel like you were dying inside? Did you really have to give up after what you did?

Of course you couldn't. There were still so many things to do and so many things to say, time to spend with your family, especially with the person you loved with all of yourself. Just thinking about Katakuri gave you that determination again that, on the contrary, Akainu was trying to destroy.

You watched until the last moment, to see him as he twitched to hit you, until he stopped a step away from your face.
Then, you saw it. A large white mass covered his entire arm, extinguishing the magma that escaped, after which his entire body was covered, like a Greek statue.

The sky above you disappeared behind the figure of a giant, who fell on the ship causing a huge roar.
A gigantic trident shone like never before and that disarmed simply by looking at it. The other soldiers backed away, unprepared to face a fearsome opponent like him.

How couldn't you recognize the Mogura?

Your eyes followed the rapid movements of the imposing man, which didn't give the time to react and, when he neutralized all the opponents, he turned to you.

He broke the chains that still imprisoned you and then picked you up, to get away from the cold and damp floor.

His expression darkened as he saw the marks on your face; on the contrary, you smiled slightly, as you made yourself smaller in his mighty and warm arms.

《...I'm so happy to see you, Katakuri.》  You had been trying to resist all that time and now you could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Katakuri stroked your head squeezing you as hard as he could. That simple gesture was enough to make you realize how much he had suffered too.

《I'm here now, Y/n. I'll no longer let anyone take you away from me.》

You felt his forehead over yours. During that, you could no longer hold back the tears and sobs and, even though it still hurt, you reached out to him and brushed the crimson wisps, when he suddenly walked away...

It wasn't over yet and Katakuri noticed it looking up. Kizaru was watching you from above and snorted when he noticed that he had been discovered.

《Oooh, what a romantic picture....I didn't think that girl was so important for you...it's almost touching, you know?》  Katakuri didn't answer and continued to look at him defiantly, waiting to kick him.

《But she's too precious to stay with you, which is why she must be taken to a place more suitable for her...in the custody of the World Government.》

Katakuri understood what he was trying to say.  《So you have discovered her powers...however, it's useless, since you won't succeed in your intent...as long as I'm there.》

Borsalino chuckled as he stepped onto the dock.
《We'll fix that right away...》

Later, he moved behind the giant, but Katakuri had already predicted his intentions by leaping away with you, blocking one of his quick kicks with the Mogura.

《It must be a hassle fighting in those conditions, huh.》  The admiral referred to the fact that Katakuri was still holding you in his arms thus preventing him from having both hands free...but he remained indifferent to that and counterattacked without difficulties, under the annoyed look of the other...Borsalino didn't expect him to be so fast.

Suddenly, something caught your attention outside of Katakuri's field of vision. The grand admiral had managed to free himself from the mochi by dissolving it; from his magma flowed evil and hatred towards the pirate who had attacked him.

《Behind you!》  You tightened his vest to warn him of danger by being focused on the opponent in front of him.

Akainu lunged at you two, now certain he wanted to destroy you completely. Of course, your call caught the attention of the crimson giant defending himself with his mochi from the incandescent attack.
That place wasn't safe for you, just as the two admirals weren't to be underestimated, so Katakuri created a wall of mochi to slow the two opponents, while taking you to safety on the other ship, along with that of Perospero and Smoothie, which reached its destination shortly after.

When he put you down, you didn't let go of his scarf. You didn't want him to come back to fight them...

《I have to settle this. I can't allow them to haunt you again.》  The mochi deformed every time it was hit by the attacks of others, while Katakuri turned his back on you, to return to the battlefield.

But he turned back as soon as he heard your voice calling him.
《Promise me you'll come back to me...》

Behind those words was a concern you had never heard before. There had never been a time when you had doubted of Katakuri, but it was foolish to ignore that those two admirals were monsters without an ounce of mercy.

On the contrary, he couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful you were. He was sure he would make them pay dearly for what they did to you.
He hated seeing you cry, especially if it was his fault, but this time he didn't think of anything, because eventually he would come back to dry your tears for you.

《A good husband will always return to his beloved wife.》

As you watched him, a comforting hand rested on your shoulder and it was Smoothie's.

《Don't worry, nii-san won't lose.》

Even if you didn't answer, she could sense how you felt and smiled...it was clear that her big brother had no intention of breaking the promise.
