(small reference in this chapter, to the "Alone Together" spin-off. So for the soft moment of it, it'll be helpful to you if you've read that too. But you'll be okay otherwise also!)

"If it's Hyunjin again, I swear I am going to kill you!" Wooyoung almost growls, as he dumps down at the cafe table. "I mean, you've kept this guy a secret for so long, something must be wrong..."

Wintertime has come and gone, and spring has arrived with new hope and promises - and so, Yeosang has finally decided to reveal his secret boyfriend to his friends. It has been quite the struggle to keep it a secret for so long, and with Wooyoung's constant nagging Yeosang has been close to caving in multiple times.

It took a lot of strength, but he stayed strong and kept his relationship to himself. He and Seonghwa might love each other like never before, but he wanted to be at least sure that it wasn't just a fleeting moment of happiness. One thing was to be floating on cloud nine, where everything was amazing and beautiful, but it was a whole different thing as everyday life started to set in.

But now, he finally felt secure enough.

He has told Wooyoung and San to meet him at a nearby cafe after work, and he also brought Hongjoong with him. Seonghwa has mentioned a million times how much he misses Hongjoong, and Yeosang hopes the two of them will be able to mend their broken friendship. After all, if Seonghwa and Yeosang could make things work - everyone else definitely has a chance too.

"It's not Hyunjin, so don't worry," Yeosang laughs, but Wooyoung still glares at him with great suspicion. "But, I might have lied to you a little bit... It's not someone completely new..."

The sound of the small bell above the door, makes all of them turn their heads at the same time, and Yeosang lights up in a bright smile by the sight of his beautiful boyfriend. Seonghwa walks in - hair pushed back in one side as always, a blue shirt tugged loosely into his jeans and an open jacket on top. Yeosang briefly loses himself in the sight of the older, and how relaxed and proudly he carries himself now - far from the stuck up and cold facade he had put up, when they met earlier last year.

When Seonghwa has walked up to stand next to him, Yeosang looks back at his friends, who all look like they've just seen a ghost.

"Well," Yeosang says, now starting to feel a bit nervous about the situation. "Guys, this is my boyfriend, Seonghwa."

He laces his fingers together with the older's, as he looks at his friends at the table. Wooyoung and San look surprised like never before - Hongjoong as well, but in a very different way. The soft smile that he usually wears on his defined face has faded, and the look in his eyes is hard to read.

"Oh my God, it actually is..." The quiet whisper comes from San, as he grabs onto Wooyoung's sleeve and yanks it around to make sure his friend is seeing the same as he is.

The sound of the chairs being dragged out from the table seems extremely loud, while the three others are saying nothing at all. The buzz from the cafe is surrounding them, but all five of them are as if stuck inside their own little bubble.

Yeosang and Seonghwa are sitting opposite from the others, still with their hands holding onto each other - and with anxious expressions on their faces.

"So..." Yeosang clears his throat, and once isn't enough. There's so much he wants to say, but now that the time has finally come he isn't sure how to do it right.

He smiles softly, when Seonghwa gives his hand a comforting squeeze, but the older seems just as nervous as himself. It takes a few minutes, with only an awkward silence between all of them, before Wooyoung slowly leans across the table.

"This is for real? Like... For real-for real, this time?" he asks, a brow raised and his voice completely different from his usual cheery self.

"It is," Seonghwa replies in an instant, faster than Yeosang can even process the simple question. "I've wasted too much time trying to be someone I am not, and being with someone I didn't even love to begin with. I know you all probably hate me, and it's okay. I hated myself too for a very long time."

"I-I don't hate you..." San quietly mumbles, but as the only one.

The blonde quickly withdraws his eyes from the couple, and leans back in his chair with his lips sucked in. He was never close with Seonghwa, and the friendship with Yeosang has only just begun a couple of months ago - so although his statement doesn't seem to sit well with neither Wooyoung or Hongjoong, it is still the truth.

And speaking of Hongjoong. The kind-hearted older has yet to say anything, and he sits as leaned back in his seat as possible, with his arms crossed in front of his chest and a blank expression on his face. Hongjoong stares into the air, but at nothing particular at all it seems. His lips are drawn into a thin line, and he is sitting so still it's hard to tell if he's even breathing at all.

"Now what?" Wooyoung asks, after several uncomfortable minutes of silence. A slight shrug falls from his shoulders, as he looks at Yeosang.

"Actually... I was thinking, why don't the three of us go home," Yeosang replies, eyes shifting between Wooyoung and San. "Seonghwa has something he would like to say to you, Hongjoong, but I think it's best if it's just the two of you."

His eyes briefly meet with Hongjoong's, but the older shows no sign that is clear enough for Yeosang to read. He doesn't protest either though. San is quick to get his things, coat swung around his shoulders - and with a "nice seeing you again" pointed towards Seonghwa, he is almost already running towards the door. Wooyoung slowly follows, but sticks to a simple nod towards the older, before following San.

"See you later?" Yeosang whispers softly, as he lets go of Seonghwa's hand.

"I'll call you," Seonghwa smiles, before leaning in to give Yeosang a kiss on the lips.

Yeosang says goodbye to Hongjoong, who is still sitting like frozen on the other side of the table, and then leaves the cafe to catch up with his friends.

Back at the apartment, Yeosang is once again sitting on the couch, with Wooyoung pacing back and forth in front of him. It almost makes him chuckle, when thinking about how many times it has happened by now, but he holds it back as Wooyoung seems too riled up to find anything funny right now.

"I can't believe it... After what he did to you!" the younger says, throwing his hands towards the ceiling.

"A lot of things have happened, Woo," Yeosang mumbles back. "There's also some things I've never told you..."

"More secrets? I don't like this! Since when are we keeping secrets from each other?"

"If you'd just sit down and stop talking, I'll tell you everything. Okay?" Yeosang pats the empty spot next to him on the couch, and looks at Wooyoung who is huffing and puffing with frustration.

But with a loud sigh, he finally sits down.

"Fine," he says. "Then tell me."

Yeosang takes a deep breath, and then another, before slowly turning to look at his best friend. "I slept with Seonghwa last year. He was working with Lucas and we met again. I don't know how it happened to be honest, he acted so cold towards me, like we never even knew each other. But yeah, it happened. He told me it was a mistake, and I tried to go on with my life as it was before. But when Lucas proposed to me..."

"Lucas proposed to you?" Wooyoung exclaims, almost jumping up from the couch again.

He quickly raises and hand up in front of him, as he sits back down, and with a deep breath he nods to Yeosang to go on.

"Lucas proposed to me, but I had to tell him I had... Cheated... So that is why we broke up. I didn't tell you that because I was embarrassed and hurt, and I didn't want to tell anyone why we broke up... I really reached the bottom of my life after that..."

"That explains the Hyunjin thing then..."

Yeosang nods, as he shrugs his shoulders - and at least the younger looks at bit more relieved now. Wooyoung sits quietly next to him, while he continues on - telling him everything else that needs to be told. What Seonghwa has been up to - how he never cheated on Yeosang, and how he got divorced after finding out Tzuyu tricked him into marrying her.

"Woo, do you remember that night during high school, where we sat in your room and watched the sunrise?" His voice lowers, when Yeosang looks at Wooyoung with the attempt of bringing back the memory of the night that could've been the last of his life.

"Yeah..." A wry smile forms on Wooyoung's lips. Neither of them will ever be able to forget that night, and in this moment it truly hits Yeosang how insane it was of him to go back to Hyunjin.

"Do you remember what you said to me?"

"I said..." Wooyoung shuffles around on the couch, clearing his throat while he is in an obvious struggle with himself, and how he should feel about the current situation. He pushes the blonde hair back, several times, before he finally looks up at his eyes meet with Yeosang's. "I said, what if you meet the one, right in the middle of the hallways of Yonsei, on our first day of school. And... That you need to give love a chance, when you one day meet someone special."

The last words are a mumble, as Wooyoung turns to look away again. His blonde locks are falling over his eyes, as he bends his body forward to rest his elbows against his thighs.

"I just don't want you to get hurt again..."

A knock of the apartment door interrupts before Yeosang can give an answer, but at the same time he feels like he's been saved by the bell. He has said what he needed to, and the rest is up to Wooyoung. If his best friend need some time to digest everything, he completely understands.

Yeosang gets up from the couch, to open the door, and he breaks into a big smile the second he opens it and sees Seonghwa standing on the other side.

"I tried calling you," the older smiles. "Am I interrupting?"

"Oh, sorry... I left my phone in the charger in my room..." Yeosang replies softly, as he pulls Seonghwa into the hallway of the apartment.

When the door is closed behind them, he snuggles against the older's chest - and he knows this is the only place he wants to be.

"How did it go with Hongjoong?" he asks, almost completely lost in a calming daze from listening to Seonghwa's heartbeat.

"Good, I think. We talked, cried and even hugged," Seonghwa says with his arms wrapped tightly around Yeosang's waist. "People at the cafe must've thought we were either breaking up, or that someone had died or something... I'll see him again next week, and we will talk more. Baby steps, but I think it'll turn out okay."

"I'm glad..."

Noises from the living room pulls Yeosang back to reality, and he realizes he has left Wooyoung sitting alone on the couch. Feeling a little anxious, he takes Seonghwa's hand in his own and with a deep breath he drags the older towards another confrontation - but hopefully the last of the day.

But when they walk into the living room, Wooyoung has gotten up and is on his way to his room. Yeosang is just about to call out for him, when Seonghwa beats him to it.

"Wooyoung," the older says. "Just give me one minute, please."

Wooyoung reluctantly turns around, and with a deep frown he looks at the couple standing in front of him.

"Fine. But only one."

"I understand why you don't like me. But I will tell you this. If I mess up just one more time, I will gladly let you kick my ass," Seonghwa speaks fast, to get as much said as possible within the one minute he has been granted, but his voice is steady and calm. "I won't even fight you, I'll just let you do it. But I know it won't be necessary. I'm in love with Yeosang, I've been so since Yonsei, and I've never stopped loving him."

"That is the cheesiest shit I've ever heard," Wooyoung mumbles, but he isn't fast enough to turn his head for Yeosang not to notice the smile that is trying to break free.

"I know, but it is the truth. I love him, with all of my heart," Seonghwa continues, and with his fingers diving in between Yeosang's, he looks at his boyfriend with the warmest smile. "And I will give him forever, if he'll let me."
