I was currently doing some push ups cause I was bored out of my mind. So I decided that exercising was the best remedy for my boredom. Trance by Metro Boomin and Travis Scott blasted through my mini JBL speaker.

I was in the middle of doing my fiftieth push up, when a knock on the door sounded halting me in my movements.

I mentally rolled my eyes as I grabbed my face towel beside me, cleaning the beads of sweat from my forehead.

I opened the door only to reveal Sonia. She looked straight into my eyes that moment before her eyes moved downwards slowly. She stared transfixed at my abs, and even bit her lips. An action I found hot.

I cleared my throat causing her to snap out of whatever trance she was in. She looked flushed, her fair skin indicating it. She finally cleared her throat in a business like manner.

"Can I come in so we can get this over with, I don't have all day." She said in a bossy tone, tapping her right foot on the floor.

"You can come in." I gestured for her to come in.

I could see the look of awe on her face once she entered my room examining it. I mean who wouldn't? My room was a masterpiece.

She took a sit on one of the couches once she was done studying the room. I could only watch her intrigued by all her movements, and how her scent filled my nostrils.

"Are you just going to keep on looking at me or are you going to take a shower and sit your ass down so we can get this over with." She said.

"Umm... Yeah right, I'll be right back." I say nervously making my towards the bathroom, but she rolled her eyes and hissed.

"Whatever." She muttered bringing out some books from her bag.

I got out of the shower several minutes ago, and I was currently beside Sonia working with her.

"Oh shit!" She exclaimed searching through her bag.

"What's the matter." I queried.

"I left my copy of the second class citizen at home. Do you have a copy with you." She asked.

"Yeah I do, its right over the bookshelf." I say gesturing to the bookshelf situated at the far end of the room.

She sighed before she walked over where it was placed. I tried but I couldn't stop myself from looking at her ass as she walked. I must admit she has a great shape and was probably more endowed than Empress.

Speaking of Empress, I haven't heard about her since our last encounter yesterday. I felt bad for what I did to her, a part of me wanted to apologize but I stood my ground, I'm taking a break.

I'm still confused on how the whole school knows about this. Eversince the news got out, girls have been shamelessly coming to my DM, sending me their nudes and trying to flirt with me. It's just so tiring. I even had to freeze all my social media accounts cause of the annoying notifications.

I let my gaze land towards the direction of Sonia, I saw she was struggling to reach the book that was a little high.

"The battle of short people." I teased with a smile as I made my way towards the bookshelf.

It looked like she didn't get the joke, because she gave me a very deadly bombastic side eye as soon as I reached her.

"Are you going to help? Or are you going to stay there and be saying rubbish." She glared at me.

"Short people and being grumpy all the time, nawa o." I told her before grabbing the book with ease from the bookshelf and stretched it towards her indicating she should take it, but she just hissed and sat back down on the couch.

I heaved a sigh before moving to the couch and sitting on it. I looked at her and saw she was scribbling something furiously on her notebook. The pen looked like it was about break with the rate she was holding it like that.

"Why are you still angry at me? I said sorry." She stopped scribbling on her note as soon as I said those words and turned to me slowly. She looked at me up and down slowly before scoffing. She inserted the pen inside before closing the book.

Her whole attention was fixed solely on me. She had a blank look on her face.

"And why do you think I'll be angry at you?" She queried maintaining direct eye contact with me.

"Err... because of what happened in the cafeteria the other day, trust me when I say I wasn't in a good mood at all, and I took it out on you. I'm so sorry, can you forgive me?"

"No, I can't forgive you." She told me before going back to what she was doing.

I sighed disappointedly. I must make her forgive me whether she likes it or not.

"Okay so what do you think of Adah as the main character." She queried, opening to a page of the book while bringing out a pink highlighter from her bag.

"Well... I think she is a brave character."

She stopped what she was doing entirely as soon as I said that.

"Is that all?" She asked slightly annoyed.

I nodded my head.

She took a deep breath and faced me. You are so annoying.

"I know." I smirked, knowing that I'm slowly getting on her nerves.

"Can you just stop!" Frustration was clearly evident in her tone, and I was gonna use that as my advantage.

"Forgive me first." Now I sounded petty, but I don't care. I just want her to forgive me.

She glared at me, before dropping her pen on the book placed on her laps and turned to me. She started playing with her fingers, reluctantly avoiding eye contact with me. She finally heaved a sigh and landed her gaze on me.

"I'm not really one to forgive that easily, but if its to make you stop acting like a mugu, then fine. I've forgiven you, but that doesn't mean we're are friends. I still hate you."

"You can't forgive someone and still hate them na," I pouted.

"Do you want me to change my mind?" She glared at me.

"Okay jeez calm down," I chuckled slightly. "You know for someone with your type of personality, you're actually kinda mean."

She turned to me with a confused look.

"What do you mean my type of personality? And I'm not mean." She pouted.

"I didn't mean it like that, its just that, you barely talk in class and your here being all sassy and bossy." I told her.

"I'm not that much of an socially active person, I can only talk to you if I feel comfortable enough. Just like the situation with Flora, I tried to ignore her, but all her constant attempts to be my friend worked, she is actually nice to be around with. And since you're like the only person here I can be comfortable around you. I don't really like being surrounded by kids my age." She explained while looking at her fingers and playing with them.

I could only nod my head in understanding. I never knew she had this part attached to her.

"So, can we start over as friends." I say in attempt to break the sudden silence.

"Hi I'm Derrick." I say stretching my hand out for a shake.

She smiled as she accepted my handshake.

"Hi I'm Sonia."

Hi guys๐Ÿ˜ช

What do you think of this chapter?

This chapter was very hard for me to write. I'm sorry if its tacky.

I also figured out that I didn't take my life into consideration before writing this book. So updates might not be that recent again.๐Ÿคง
