The Dora set Makena on a table and Shuri immediately pulled up Makena's visuals. Agent Ross ran over and his eyes widened at the knife in Makena's stomach. "Why does she have a knife in her stomach?"

"She tried to kill herself," Shuri mumbled, walking over to the table and putting her hand around the handle of the knife. Shuri pulled out the knife and everyone watched closely to see what would happen and their was literally no blood at all. In fact, the wound began to heal itself.

"Uh, is she healing?"

Shuri rolled her eyes, "Duh. I think it has something to do with the Hydra testing on her." Shuri ran over to check her visuals again and Makena looked to be completely fine. Almost as if she never stabbed herself in the first place. "Okay I must leave, keep an eye on her. Do not let her out of your sight," Shuri ordered Ross before running out with the Dora following behind.

Makena gasped awake, her hand immediately going to her stomach. Makena looked down seeing no wound and furrowed her brows in confusion. Makena glanced around and squinted her eyes, this looked nothing like how she pictured heaven or hell would look like. It looked more peaceful and quiet. The sky's were blue and purple, a mixture of gorgeous colors from the open windows.

Makena looked around more noticing the familiarity in the place. It looked exactly like her childhood bedroom she shared with her bother. She hadn't been to the house in years so she forgot what it even looked like.

Makena stood up and walked over to the bedroom door. Makena opened it up and walked down the hall. As she turned the corner to the living room she spotted someone sat on the recliner. The recliner that her mother had thrown out after her father left them. She had specifically remembered how much her mom hated that recliner.

The unknown figure had now stood up and Makena backed up, slighly on guard but curious. "Who are you?" Makena grabbed the nearest object which just happened to be an umbrella.

She could hear the person sigh and turn around, raising their hands in mock surrender. Makena dropped the umbrella and her hand flew to her mouth in shock. "Dad?" He smiled softy at her daughter but Makena wasn't exactly gonna just crumble that easily. As much as she had loved her father she also hated what he put her and her brother through.

"If I can see you then where is Zach?" Makena asked, Zach being her brothers name.

"Don't worry, Zach is fine. Your mind sent you to me though, not him," Kenni explained.

"What do you mean my mind sent me? I died, right? I'm supposed to be dead. I killed myself," Makena spoke in confusion. Kenni sighed, he never thought he'd have to hear those kinds of words from his daughter.

"You're not dead. You stabbed yourself with a regular metal knife. Regular metal cannot kill you. But don't worry, the only thing that can kill you is in safe hands and I know Wakanda would protect you." Kenni sat down and Makena slowly walked over and sat on the coffee table a few feet away.

"Am I trippin'? What the hell are do you mean metal can't kill me? I'm a normal human being, that knife should've killed me." Makena shook her head in disbelief. It was all insane to her that she was even speaking with her dead father.

"Makena, you aren't a normal human. You were given abilities by Hydra, and the only thing that can kill you is Vibranium. But the only person who knows that is you and me now. But I'm sure Princess Shuri will figure it out soon enough." Kenni noticed the way Makena glanced down at her stomach where she tried to end her life. The last thing she had heard was Shuri's shout but she couldn't figure out why Shuri cared so much.

"No no, Hydra didn't give me anything. They failed! I failed. And why do you care so damn much?! Huh? You sure didn't seem to care when you left," Makena stated coldly. She was tired of holding all her emotions back. She was absolutely pissed at her dad for leaving. Maybe if he never left Zach would still be alive and Makena wouldn't be a wanted criminal. Maybe she'd be happy.

"Makena, you're my daughter. I spend every day worrying about you. And yes Hydra may have failed to give you the powers you asked for but you still have some."

"If that's true then I would know."

"True. But since you've been in a state of grief, anger and sadness you've never taken a second thought about how much your body has changed." Makena furrowed her brows and glanced down at her body, it was different from a few years ago but she just assumed that was her aging.

"Have you noticed the more muscular you've looked? And you've never bothered exercising." Kenni pointed out.

Makena looked down in thought, it was true. She never exercised willingly. And she didn't remember doing anything to lose weight and gain abs or muscles. She never cared much for her body but she still had her dream body anyways. "Maybe you're right. But even then I would've known if I've gained powers."

Kenni sighed and walked over to the kitchen. Makena watched him grab a cast iron pan and bring it over. "Here. Break it," he said.

Makena looked at him suspiciously but took the pan anyway. "You're crazy if you think I'm strong enough to even bend it." Makena mumbled.

"We won't know until we see." Makena rolled her eyes before looking at her dad and suddenly breaking it with the lowest amount of effort. Makena's eyes widened and she dropped the two pieces of the pan. "Woah."

"You believe me now?"

"So what. It doesn't change anything. Yeah so what I got a little stronger. It doesn't change the fact that I should be dead already." Makena mumbled and Kenni took her hands in his. Makena felt her eyes become blurry with tears but she didn't care. Part of her didn't want to admit it but she was so happy to finally see her dad. She always knew he was somewhere watching her and making sure she was safe.

"Makena, sweetheart. You may think I left because I didn't love you or your brother but that is not true. I left to protect you." Kenni said and Makena let out a little scoff, not believing that.

"If my enemies knew of you then it would put you in danger. I wanted to come back but T'Chaka said I couldn't. Not until we could guarantee your safety. But a month before I planned to go and find you and your brother I died fighting Klaue. T'Chaka promised your safety and T'Challa will do the same. So daughter, I ask that you use your given powers to help protect Wakanda. They would do the same for you sweetheart." Kenni explained.

"If he promised our safety then why is Zach dead? Why is my brother dead?! Where was his protection then?!" Makena stood up and walked over to the fireplace with her hands frustratingly in her hair.

Kenni sighed and stood up, he walked over to his daughter slowly but kept his distance. "That night when Zach died...it wasn't your fault Makena. I know you blame yourself. I know you know why T'Challa was not there to help you."

Makena wiped her tears and looked at Kenni as realization came to her face. "I removed the tracker I found in Zach's phone. It was Wakandan technology. If I didn't deactivate it then T'Challa would've been there to help him. Zach would've been alive right now," She mumbled.

"It wasn't your fault, Makena."

"Yes it was! My brother would be alive right now if I wasn't so suspicious of his intentions the entire night. I thought he planned to double cross me and so I took his phone and found the tracker. If I never had doubts in my brother then he would still be alive. That's on me." Makena argued.

She dropped to her knees, the truth being too much for her to handle. Nobody wants to know that half the fault of their brothers death was because of themselves. It was too much for her. She just wanted to die.

Makena choked on a sob, and Kenni had kneeled down and brought her into his chest. The comfort of her father's hug made her cry even more. And she hated crying. She hated weakness. She hated vulnerability. She hated every little thing that came with being soft and helpless. "I know I could tell you it's not your fault but you won't believe me. So I won't tell you anymore," Kenni mumbled.

"So what do I do now? I have no idea what's going on when I wake back up." Makena sat up and wiped her tears, looking to her father with advice.

"What you should know is that Erik Stevens killed T'Challa. And Erik is not fit to be King of Wakanda. You need to help the princess and the Queen to over throw him and lead Wakanda rightfully," Kenni said.

Makena frowned, "But I can't turn my back on Erik. I know he's not in his right mind but there's no way he will yield to anyone who challenges him."

"Makena, I understand you care for this man but he will wage war with his ruling. We cannot have that. You are the only one who can stop him. The last person who could is now dead. You can either make him listen to you or you can help over throw him. It is your choice."

"What do I need to do?"
