The first surprise you get when encountering Haruto is that they are a Ravenclaw. They seem like your stereotypical sporty boy. Semi popular, good looking, whatever (yawn). You expect them to be Gryffindor, maybe Hufflepuff at a push. Maybe even Slytherin if they're one of the mean jocks. But they are actually surprisingly clever, witty and have a thirst for knowledge and a naturally curious mind.

➢ A wand for good times and bad, this is a friend as loyal as the wizard who deserves it. Wands of English oak demand partners of strength, courage and fidelity. Less well-known is the propensity for owners of English oak wands to have powerful intuition, and, often, an affinity with the magic of the natural world, with the creatures and plants that are necessary to wizardkind for both magic and pleasure. The oak tree is called King of the Forest from the winter solstice up until the summer solstice, and its wood should only be collected during that time (holly becomes King as the days begin to shorten again, and so holly should only be gathered as the year wanes. This divide is believed to be the origin of the old superstition, 'When his wand's oak and hers is holly, then to marry would be folly,' a superstition that I have found baseless). It is said that Merlin's wand was of English oak (though his grave has never been found, so this cannot be proven).

➢ As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

➢ Haruto is one of those boys that you think is one thing, but actually has so much more to him. At school he would be that guy that is in the popular group, but doesn't talk that much. Most people overlook him because he isn't larger than life or uber-cool, but he's a good guy to have buy your side. He is warm, funny and encouraging, but can seem a little aloof at first. He is often overlooked, but a real gem of a person who just needs some love and encouragement.

➢Haruto is a curious soul. He loves exploration, and doesn't hesitate to step out of his comfort zone. He is imaginative and open-minded, and is drawn to the mystery that surrounds the world. Haru is an ambivert. He loves people and spending time with his friends, but is not a party animal. Sometimes he likes to explore things on his own - he likes the peace and quiet, especially when physically exploring in nature. Because of his curiosity, he is observant, and everything has relevance. Part of him is drawn to stillness, but to most people and at most times he is very energetic and enthusiastic. They are goofy and have quite a lovably eccentric sense of humour. He knows he's weird, but weird in a good way. In a way that saying stupid things or bonkers things makes people laugh. He has a rather impish wit, and can also bring out a dry sense of humour. He is also a good listener and will always be there for his friends. He has a very deep and strong sense of empathy, which means he can be quite emotional. Not in the sense that he's overly sensitive- he usually doesn't take things personally and is rather thick skinned in that way. For example if someone chooses to hang out with someone else rather than him he doesn't care - they can talk to who they want to when they want to, and he tries not to get jealous like that. But he's the sort to start crying at a beautiful/sad song or music when he's in an emotional mood.

➢Unfortunately for Haruto, they have poor practical skills. Although their intellectual curiosity has no bounds, administration and organisation are difficult for him. They finds they struggles to meet deadlines and often accidentally forgets commitments or double books himself. Chaotic energy, if you like. He also struggles with focus. He has a very imaginative mind, and although his problems with concentration on work are not ADHD, they display similar qualities.

➢He has a strong will and creative drive. He can be rather stubborn, and doesn't give up easily if it's something he believes in. But when his heart isn't in it, he often struggles to complete the task.
