APPEARANCE:

Constantin is well built, with a healthy frame and is about average height. He is physically capable, and active. He has fine dark hair and pale skin, with a long flattened nose, a bit of an overbite, and a notch in his upper lip, with down turned blue-greenish/hazel eyes. He has smooth skin, and nicely formed bone structure.

PERSONALITY:

Constin is one of those people that is actually quite different to his outward appearance and for a good reason. He can seem intimidating, cold and calculating. Upon first introduction, he does not give much away. He is cautious, and will play the long game.

He holds logic and rationality in his esteem, especially for his own behaviour. He is good at controlling his emotions, and thinks always of how he seems - cool, calm and collected, are his thoughts whenever he gets stressed. He tries not to over-react. Just because he is calm, doesn't mean he feels calm all the time. There is a lot going on in his head.

Being from one of mainland Europe's richest families, he has learnt the importance of charm. He finds constantly having to put on that persona rather tiresome, but knows that he can pull it out at dances etc. To him it is totally superficial, and he wishes he could just find someone he could be himself with. He does not like lying, even though he is living in one.

When he feels safe, he can be quite good company. Not as stuck up and arrogant as he looks. Looks after all, are deceiving. He is full of surprises, and has a strong sense of the undercurrent of morals, despite not always choosing to follow them. Self preservation, after all, is needed to survive in this world.

When Rabastan Lestrange, the younger brother to Rodolphus was twenty, a mysterious letter appeared at the Lestrange's manor one night. It requested the attendance of Rabastan, his father and his mother at the ball of the Vladivar family, a rich Romanian wizarding family. His parents accepted, and the trio travelled deep into Romania for one of the most lavish balls he had ever witnessed. Their wealth was quite something else. The family manor was not a manor, but a Castle. High ceilinged, adorned with jewels and red silks like no other. It became clear that this ball was to find a suitor for the Vladivar daughter, and when a month later the match was proposed, Mr Lestrange gladly accepted for his son.

It was only later he learned that for years the Vladivar's had been using their wealth to secure respectable international marriages, because in Romania they were scorned upon with rumours of their half-breed status.

Constantin was brought up in Romania as a Vladivar, and lived a richer lifestyle than even his English cousins. When he turned 19, his mother suggested he go and live with his cousins in England to learn their ways.

since his nineteenth name day, Constantin has been living largely with his father Rabastan in England, and his younger half sibling. His secret is well kept. Only Constantin himself, his family in Romania and his father Rabastan know his secret. You can tell a certain animosity between father and son, especially now he has a legitimate pureblood son and wife in his second marriage. But Rabastan values his own status too much ever to let the secret out, because it would disgrace him and put him at risk.

the origin of the Vladivar family

Drakul is an Ancient House with the darkest of origins, and has seen the most bloodshed. The Drakul are legendary even amongst wizards, and currently go by the name Vladivar to mask their true identity and protect them from persecution. They originated in central Romania in the medieval period, and are closely associated with the infamous vampires of Transylvania. Legend has it that Count Dracula himself was the founder, and still resides in the castle's cavernous depths today.

Their castle, known as the Cidatel, is perhaps the most mysterious place in wizarding Europe, rumoured to have a consciousness of its own, it is known to disorientate the unwitting who find themselves wondering its halls at night. It has some of the most lavish ballrooms in the whole of Europe, and hundreds of staff to tend to its needs. However, the Citadel's most distinctive feature is unknown by virtually all guests. It has a vast and secret network of underground rooms that extend far beyond the traces of any map. Their crest is a red and black dragon, and their words are:

Currently on Voldemort's side, but it is highly likely he'll join the rebellion if given the opportunity, because his true identity means he is the very demographic Voldemort attempts to eradicate.

- Constin's vampire blood is very much diluted, but not absent. He doesn't burn from sunlight, but finds his skin sensitive to too much of it and prefers night time. He dislikes the taste of garlic, and it occasionally gives him reaction. He can eat normal food, but occasionally has a drive for blood...
- he is a bat animagus. It's probably more complicated than that because he did not earn the ability in the same way as others- it's in his blood.
- has a Romanian accent but speaks perfect English and is quite eloquent
-wears dark rich colours. Like a deep rich navy, or a velvet red. He has expensive but good taste, but if he had to give it all up honestly I don't think he'd care
